Not really.. All war is over. The human race won (of course). Why would we need the chief back? Even though he turned out to be our greatest weapon... We have no use for him, so it's up to his own merit to get back to us. I'm just speculating.. but it seems logical that it would be more fun if Chief was on his own.

But back on topic; What would blow my mind is if the game got totally bigger in every way. Increase the multiplayer to 22 - 24 people more vehicles more weapons more armor you get the picture. Everything gets bigger! now that might revamp the franchise.

Don't get me wrong I still love Halo 3. The only Halo game I don't currently have is Reach, because of my own personal beef with the game. I don't really want a remake of Halo 2. If you take a look at what their doing to Halo CEA; their adding features from Reach which is the exact opposite of what I want. But my interests can't please millions so I try to avoid being such a critic. I played Halo Reach quite a bit. I even got the beta 10 days before anyone else did. (before the public release) I fell in love with the beta and thought I would also go head over heels for the game but that wasn't the case. I'm glad their closing the gap on Halo 4. It's almost like 343 doesn't like reach.. :? (Halo 4 comes out fall 2012 where as Halo 2 release 2004 and Halo 3 was 2007 which makes 3 years apart for each game but we will be getting Halo 4 within 2 years of Reach's release)

The only way it'd be my "perfect Halo 4" is if they remade Halo 2 and called it Halo 4. I just haven't been happy were Halo is going, ever since they slowed down the combat in Halo 3, I've been a sad puppy. And all the AA's and other bull**** they do to freshen the game up ain't doing it for me. My "competitive hunger" has been a gaping hole for 4 years and running. Sorry I have become a little jaded with the Halo series.

If I were you, I'd rewrite my post.. but any-hows can you give us a link to an article that even talks about dual wielding energy swords. Dual energy swords is just not logical. That's the problem. Call of Duty is now less sustainable for gamers now because of their "flooding of the market." (releasing CoD games every year by different Game Devs) So we pick up something that can last or that is different(Halo Reach). I myself got my first CoD game (Black Ops) last year, because i was so disappointed with Reach. In fact i traded in Reach for Black Ops. Black Ops was fun but it's no Halo. No one communicates in Black Ops and there is virtually no need for "Team work" Not to mention the lack of competitiveness do to the ranking system. (which Reach adopted) So you find your self playing search in destroy to fill the hungering void. :arrow: (stopping my rant) But enough about Black Ops, I think the best thing for Halo: CE-A is to make it as much like the original as possible. They are calling it Halo: Combat Evolved after all. I also ask for justice! Give me liberty or give me death!

Though we know that 343 has adopted some features of reach (we have already seen assassination animations in Halo CE Anniversary) which means some aspects of Reach they like. I'm excited to see what they keep and what they through out the window. I just hope they go back and play Halo 1 through Halo 3 and take a good look at the core gameplay in all 3 games. (BRING BACK THE SPEED OF HALO 2!)

If you download them you can only play the maps on the account you downloaded them on. So having the disc is very useful.

Well if you buy them from the XBL MP then yes. but if your playing on the ODST muitplayer disc then no, the maps are on the disc. I'm talking about playing on different (Gold) Xbox live accounts.

So do I, until I tried to play on another account..

Well some people still play it. But don't forget it comes with ALL the Halo 3 maps. Thats why i got it so i can play on other accounts and not have to pay for the maps.

Yeah MLG was around before Halo 2, but MLG wasn't big at all. And all the First real big famous pros played Halo 2. All the MLG circuits were Halo 2 exclusive. MLG owes alot to Halo 2.

Just give me Lockout in all it's glory. God i miss the speed of Halo 2. (H2 was the best halo game to date)
