I purchased Halo 4 on Nov 8th and have yet to receive my halo 4 specialization email. I have reached level 70, and have had this live account for over five years. The account was created simply to create my gamer-tag and to play Halo online. I have never used it for personal use or any other purpose. I had to go through xbox to get instructions on how to reset my password for my live account since I did not remember it. I was finally able to successfully retrieve my account and there is no email…not in my inbox or spam/junk folder. I have been playing Halo for over 10 years and been a loyal and overall happy customer. I do not understand why I must go through all of these hoops just to play something I’ve been playing as a teen. I’m pretty sure there are several other ways to verify people’s account other than this one. I have literally spent a whole 48 hours trying go regain access to my live account only to find that the email is not there and that I may not get one at all. I have read that 343 are not sending out anymore emails for Halo 4, which is absolutely unfair to those of us who never received them. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism and empathy regarding this matter. Please send/resend the email.
