I don't play Spartan Ops, but when I did solo Legendary in the campaign this was rarely an issue for me. Why? Because for whatever reason, almost every time a Knight retreated via teleporting, it would teleport back before it's shields had recharged, allowing me to easily finish the job. There were only a few occasions where they actually came back fully charged.

Apparently you can be killed by the guardians when glitching out of Complex as well.

I'm pretty sure they were just included in the Limited Edition. No pre-order was necessary. Other than that though, you had to play before November 20. If he gets them from eBay, he should be fine. It's buying it from other forum members or XBL users that you should be careful about.

I am absolutely convinced that people are picking those weapons only due to nostalgia (or commendations). There is absolutely no reason to pick either of them with the DMR being undeniably better.

I like pink too and agree that the pink armor color we have is pretty lame. We definitely need a better one. A pink visor would be cool too. I was pretty sure that Halo 3's Hayabusa armor was a tip of the hat to Dead or Alive 4 having a playable Halo Spartan in it back in 2005. Ryu Hayabusa is a staple character in the Dead or Alive series. From the Halo Nation wiki:

I'm sure you are, but I'll ask anyway just in case; are you aware that it has to be on Harvest, Shatter, or Wreckage? If you're getting turret kills on any other map, they won't count towards the achievement. -
I'm currently SR69. I have completed Tracker already and am currently on Engineer. I think my TrueSkill level is 26 if I'm looking at the right thing.

I definitely support the notion of letting us choose which weapon our Spartans are holding. I never touch the Assault Rifle or the Magnum, so why would my Spartan pose with those? I dislike that the stances are so hard to unlock. The only two that I like are Breach and Believe, but I'll never have those. I'll never have Stand Off either, but I don't care for it, so I'm fine with that. I might get Assault eventually, but it's not all that great, so I don't know if I'd actually use it. I already have Heroic, Assassin, and Last Stand, but those all suck, especially Assassin, so I'm sticking with Recruit.

I love Dead or Alive, but I've never been a fan of the Hayabusa armor. Having the Dragon Sword was cool, but I didn't like having to wear the Hayabuse body with it. I don't know why they couldn't let you equip it with any chest piece.

One Bomb Assault in Halo 2 was awesome. I miss Halo 2.

I've seen "Explosion" in Halo 3, but I've yet to see a weird one in Halo 4.

The armor is mostly pretty lame. I can tolerate most of the shoulders, torso pieces, forearms, and legs, but the helmets are mostly disgusting. The only helmets I like are Tracker, Pathfinder, Mark VI, Recon, Protector, and Operator is my favorite, as it reminds me of Halo 3's Security helmet, which I loved. Engineer and Gungnir are okay too, for novelty reasons at least, but I liked Gungnir better in Reach. I will say that the visor selection is badass though.

What do you mean exactly? Like the bots in Gears of War 3? I don't see the point in having bots.

Very nice list. Thanks for posting it. I believe the highest one that I've recieved is "Reign of Terror", of which I've gotten several. It doesn't seem to me like that one should be onyx tier though. It's not quite that hard to get it.

Actually, 14 out of the original 15 multiplayer achievements in Halo 3 required you to play in a ranked playlist. The only one that didn't was Then they added all of the DLC ones that could be done in either ranked or social.

This was happenng to me a lot last week. Almost every game I joined would go into black screen at least twice and usually I would be waiting to repsawn when the match resumed. The score would be different too. After it happened several times I decided to personally keep count of my deaths for one match. In the carnage report of that match, for each time a black screen occured, I had one more death than I had counted. This hasn't happened at all this week though. I think it was just on my end.

They'll probably put up a playlist for it eventually. Maybe just on special events at the very least, but I'm sure it'll make an appearance. It doesn't effect me either way though. I can't stand Grifball.
