An easy fix: Reduce the range slightly on the DMR, and increase the range on the BR and Carbine. They could make the carbine like halo 2, the shots wouldn't all be straight on if you shot it as fast as you could, but the shot were more powerful then they are now.

After this fiasco and not to mention the horrendous halo reach I won't be holding my breath.

What baconshelf said. We need these features gone from the game, not added. No loadouts, no instant respawn, no lack of friendly fire.

Can I get a link to that? I'm pretty sure Jun is currently officially listed as MIA, presumed KIA. Not that I really care, all the reach Spartans meant nothing to me. lol Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure Jun went on to instruct future Spartans on ONYX, after escaping reach with Dr. Halsey.

No offense, but you sound like a little kid. And one who has a tenuous grasp on the history of halo and weapon balance throughout the games.

There is literally another topic with almost the same thread title. Seriously read or look for one second before throwing up a duplicate thread. The DMR doesn't need to be changed, the boltshot's charged up shot range needs to be reduced, and then that weapon is fine.

Ragnarok ultimate loadout: Death of the gods: DMR Plasma Pistol Plasma Grenades Active Camoflauge AA Efficiency Ordanace Priority This is arguably the best loadout for sitting back and killing players with the DMR on Ragnarok, AA efficiency paired with Active Camo means the majority of the time you'll be stealthed and not easy to see on Valhallas long sight lines. Ordanace priorty is optional but aids greatly as you should have little problems picking off players while in relative safety from being cloaked. The Plasma grenades and pistol are purely for shorter range encounters and vehicles, mostly the latter. Alternative loadout: DMR Plasma Pistol Plasma Grenades Active Camoflauge Mobility Ammo Mod This is more of an every big team battle map load-out but works well on Ragnarok as well. The changes here are you can stay in the fight longer without going near enemies to refill ammunition, and mobility to get around much faster on other maps like exile.

Big team battle, or BTB, was a part of halo mutiplayer long before halo reach. But I digress, it's not in halo 4, and this is a grave injustice. The assault gametype is also missing completely, as is the option to make a single flag CTF gametype.

my marines are stupid and run straight to thier deaths usually. After doing some missions with mythic,tilt thunderstorm and tough luck on I've decided Non-skull legendary is pretty easy. I'm not looking foward to doing infinity with the aformentioned skulls on.

This is similar to Chief's armor being different. Cortana says she updated his armor's "firmware" but that only should change the UI hud of how chief see's out of his helmet. How did his armor change? His shoulder pads? There isn't really an explanation ever given. Even when I was inside the foward on to dawn in halo 4 it didn't look anything like the interior version from halo 2 and 3.- 3 replies

Join in progress actually envokes quitting a game from me. (random but educated percentage) 85% of the games I join in progress have no chance of winning the objective, or the score is 0 to 0 but the enemy team is just camping and spawn killing the 1 idiot who remained in the game with gauss hogs and power weapons, getting a whole new team of people to deal with an unwinnable mess. So yeah I tend to leave games that join me in progress, thus compounding the problem. -
The lack of friendly fire is causing some rather...trolling effects on the game. I've had people duck in front of me or try to cause collateral damage when I have a launcher weapon, causing me to kill myself. That's awesome. And of course when someone is in your way in a critical situation and theres no way to make them move, my personal favorite in other games was to stick my teamates on the face if something like that was happening.

Flood can still be an awesome gametype, they just need to: Remove complex from the rotation. And remove shields from the flood/zombies, then make it so they can only have unlimited sprint and not WTFROFL thruster packs.

lets make the game like Halo: Custom edition In that you had shotguns who shot fuel rod shots instead of pellets, which was awesome. And a sniper rifle that shot tank rounds.

Not this nonsense again.... The people advocating that the boltshot's CHARGE SHOT RANGE is not overpowered are idiots. Or they just suck balls and can't abuse the weapon properly. The boltshot has no place as a spawning weapon. Period. The charge shot on the weapon easily trumps the shotgun and the inconsistant scattershot in CQC on a regular basis. The weapon beats pickups. What so many people don't seem to understand is the weapons range, not that it can get a one hit kill. If it had the range of lets say a mauler it would be on the path the being balanced. But I'm not going to waste my breath and keystrokes on this anymore. The weapon is OBVIOUSLY inbalanced, and I shall continue to abuse it until it gets nerfed, as it should be. Anyone who plays this game regularly knows this. There have even been people that have posted saying they only use the boltshot, they own with it, and it should be nerfed.

The blackscreen is odd. It only puts certain players into it at times, I was playing with a buddy and he went to black screen, but I never went there. Kind of annoying and it's happened Vise versa before too. As for achievements, I complete them but I don't usually check to see if they added to my exp, I like to see the challenge completed thing more then the actual experiance lol. Its easy to see if its a multiplayer challenge though, as your bar moves much faster to notice the bonus experiance.

Team slayer pro was just halo 4 multiplayer with no motion sensor I believe, it might of had friendly fire, which would have made it much better though. I didn't Vote as the OP missed a gametype I wanted back as well. BIG TEAM OBJECTIVE. Or just Big Team Battle. Big team infinity slayer isn't doing it for me. I want big awesome battles of 2 flag or Single flag CTF. Where is Assault gametype? Why are you listing firefight as a gametype?

I hate how the warthog handles in this game. It feels like a ford F150 or something. I miss the fast manuverable hog that power slid all over the place. Vehicles have a hard time particualry in this game because of plasma pistol and plasma grenade spawns...in BTB vehicles don't live more then briefly in the first couple of seconds of the game, unless someone made a critical error. Make it so the hog's turret doesnt ******* overheat. Ever since that got added it just doesn't feel like the warthog anymore.

This no-friendly fire in slayer is nonsensical, mainly because it exists in gametypes that aren't slayer. This new system is not halo. You need to be careful when you have heavy explosives and power weapons, not just being able to fire indiscriminately.

What Kind of Vehicals Would You Like to See in Halo 5

They need to bring back: Some type of UNSC flying vehicle. And the Brute Chopper, one of the most fun vehicles in halo history. If there's inexplicably gravity hammers, then there should be some choppers lying around too damn it! -
The lightrifle actually owns face. It has insane aim assist when you don't scope with it. I commonly get headshots all the time with it unscoped and I'm just sorta aiming at thier heads. And when it's scoped it's a 4 hit kill, and a two hit to unshielded enemies. I really like the light rifle. Wow...apparently many of you are saying the weapon lacks aim assist? I think its the most aim assist heavy weapon in the game when it isn't scoped in. Besides the beam rifle.
