Trust me, there's plenty of terrible people playing halo 4. Just as many as good players. At least in big team battle that's the case.
-
Halo 2 had the largest skill gap of them all, playing online in halo 2 PC for the first time in years has shown me that in spades. The only thing that's easier then halo 3 is the sniper rifle. The halo 2 sniper rifle is a side swiping machine. I personally enjoyed halo 2 more then any other title. I'll give you a good example, I had a battle rifle from halo 2 in coagulation (blood gulch) and got into a range that was ideal range for the DMR from halo 4, I couldn't even HIT the guy. Cross-hairs right center mass on him. I was so used to using rifles from that range that it was a joke. The DMR has retarded range, too much range. It's not that the BR has too little range in halo 4, because it's actually very close the range of the halo 2 BR, but the DMR just can shoot SO MUCH farther accurately that its no contest, and makes the whole game stupid. In halo 2 if you were REALLY far away from someone you didn't have much to worry about so long as you strafed and kept moving into cover. I would get slapped if I said the same thing for halo 4.

What that's retarded. Why even say season then? Seasons imply there is going to be more or at least more then 1 season. The first half of season 1 was terrible. And the 2nd half was better, but not good enough to end it. I like spartan ops, but I was REALLY expecting a season 2.

Unfortunately most of these people are terrible/ do not like video games. It would be funnier if the top halo players from the past would play like the ogre twins or something.
-
Yeah, the challenges continue to be retarded. And 5000 kills in a month? That's almost half of my total kills. Who enjoys halo 4 THAT much to kill 5000 people in under a month? That's diligent playing every day.

Post the worst team you've played with randomly!

Halo 5 needs Flood that People wont B*tch about

Halo 2 shotgun and rocket flood were the scariest lol.- 91 replies

The mantis largely comes down to who is driving it. I've seen them get wrecked in seconds, and seen them go on to live for extended periods of time.

It's pretty stupidly implemented. It should remain for a second or two even in instant respawning games.

We all know that the halo games, much like the call of duty games have a massive population of noobs, idiots, and people who just aren't very good at video games. But have you ever wound up on a team that was SO bad, it actually made you message the players asking what went wrong? I'll start off with a Ragnarok game I joined into that just began as a lobby I was in. I grabbed the mantis with the wheelman/explosive combo and was just going to town on the enemy team behind the main central hill, the less steep side. I managed to kill 13 people before my Mantis was finally lasered. I look at the score, and the next person on my team has 1 kill. 1 kill. EVERYONE else has zero. And the enemy team by no means were pros or anything, in fact they were terrible too. I started screaming when the game was almost over at what opponents my team would have to encounter to do well, if not these idiots. Anyway here is the post game carnage report. One guy managed to maintain zero. Enjoy! https://app.halowaypoint.com/en-us/Halo4/McGruunty/wargames/match-8636d7bd094d00f8 In case the link doesn't work my team breakdown was like this starting with my score: 23 kills 5 deaths (me) 6 kills 14 deaths 8 kills 14 deaths 6 kills 16 deaths 6 kills 11 deaths 2 kills 7 deaths 2 kills 16 deaths 0 kills 17 deaths (this person was NOT idle) I'm mcgruunty by the by.

I got immediately that it was a prank lol, bungie would do things like this as well.
-
Yeah man...it was an april fools joke. Granted that doesn't make it ok for someone to insult you directly.

Do you like the brutes in this game.
Chris Hansen replied to Sniper0092's topic in Halo 2 + Anniversary
Tararus was the chieftain of all brutes. Even after his death at the hands of the arbiter/Johnson the brutes in halo 3 were still "his" brutes. -
Sorry, I agree with No Po. Making halo a "more realistic" game is the worst thing you can do.
-
Yeah...like you just happened to divide a number that happens to equal 7. You added a whole other level of math to something just to make it work. Sorry but the 7, marathon symbols are gone. They even changed guilty sparks design to not be an outline of the Marathon symbol in Halo Anniversary because they have no rights to the marathon games. (which is EXTREMELY stupid as the universes of Marathon and Halo are eternally linked through bungie)

The DMR has several advantages over the Carbine and BR, like only 5 actual bullets needed to land a kill or the insane magnetism, or the fact that shooting someone to death at any range besides point blank including the range of the BR and Carbine is easy. My proposed buff to the other two rifles is just to make them have the same range as the DMR. I honestly think the DMR will still have the advantage but at least it will be on even range ground. I used the Halo 2 carbine the most out of the versions of the rifle and what made it so good in halo 2 was it's firing speed and the same range as the BR. It fired EVEN faster then the halo 4 version but more importantly it had the range to back it up at a cost of slightly low accuracy at range rapid shooting. The BR will still be balanced except those frustrating times you decided to use a BR in big team, your getting picked off by double its range by the DMR. Anyway, I thought long and hard about how to solve this "DMR is better then the other rifles" problem. And don't kid yourself if you think the other rifles are fine.

Armor lock? I think you have the games confused. Brutes did all sorts of crap in halo 2. -
What Kind of Vehicals Would You Like to See in Halo 5
Chris Hansen replied to Sam Jones's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
The spectre was horrible lol, I hope that was a joke. But seriously, they need to bring back the chopper. -
Well if it makes you feel any better I'm a huge sonic the hedgehog fan, mainly from the sega genesis games. Unfortunately pretty much any generation after that makes you sorry to be a fan of it. So now I guess I can add another franchise to the list that keeps getting worse as it goes on.

Well, after getting the game on pc, its AWESOME. Even better then the xbox version, Everything is the same, but the frame-rate is silky smooth (think COD framerate). There isn't much people playing online but theres a new map called district that's pretty cool, think turf but bigger. After playing with the PC graphics the game looks as good or better then halo 3 on my rig, which makes it intense when you get the skulls and play on legendary, the smoothness of the game is going to take some getting used to lol.

The problem is fighting a combat form of the flood is just a fraction of the force you deal with. And I assume that "pure forms" from halo 3 are around too. Flood would be awesome if there was popcorn and carrier forms walking around randomly you could shoot.

Gauss hog wins lol. Really the only other vehicle that can tango with a Gauss right now is the scorpion tank, only because it shoots the same kind of round, in the sense that it's a rapidly traveling explosive. Any other vehicle wouldn't get close enough to utilize it's weapons before a competent gunner destroyed them.

Here's my question, do they actually lack a head hit box, or is it just invisible? If it was the latter at least you could just aim right above the chest. Still cheating and lame though.
-
I think you mean custom games lol, not mod your game.
