It looks like Dr.Halsey is against the UNSC!
Chris Hansen replied to AnimalDenWinter's topic in Halo 4
It sounds like ONI is a bunch of douchebags. -
The halo 2 Scorpion tank. The most beast tank of all time. Super fast and powerful main cannon, and you could control the turret while driving, which was on the main gun of the tank, and it was super accurate. Brute chopper or wraith get second place, I LOVE splattering vehicles in other vehicles.

The maps are definitlely part of the problem with the game. Big team battle has always been my favorite playlist after 4v4 slayer, and it just sucks with the game mechanics combined with the BTB maps. Ragnarok is good, but gets old since it's really the only good btb map. Exile is good but horribly unbalanced, even though I do well on that map since there's power weapons everywhere and I'm pretty pro at killing vehicles.

Uh...I don't have any words for this.

The elites don't get tougher as the levels go on when you have those skulls on ledgendary. A gold elite general is the same strength as one in the final levels. Don't use plasma pistol on them, it just doesn't work that well at all, the only viable options are to trick the elites into turning thier backs to you, get them stuck in an animation like covering from an explosion, or getting them to melee you, and sidestep, assassinating them.

They still have rights to the old songs in halo I think, they REALLY need to incorporate them into halo 5. The best music of halo 4 was the 4 second Halo Cantor theme and the end credits. I can still listen to the soundtracks from the first 3 games and get lost, I can't do that with halo 4s music, it's good, but its not the music I've come to expect and crave. Remember this music when you had the tank on delta halo?

Good old ranting hitler meme sums up everything wrong with Halo 4 in a nutshell. He never fails. The meme that is.

I've seen join in progress screw me far more then it actually made a difference in the game. Examples: 1: I join in a big team slayer game where most of the players already left on the team I join, and the enemy team is of course just in control of the entire map and spawn killing the remaining fools. 2: You join into a game where there isn't a chance of winning score wise, like joining a slayer game 950 to 300 or something horrible. 3: You join into a game where, the score isn't screwed, and your team isn't a bunch of retards? The 3rd option doesn't seem to come up much is all I'm saying. It sucks that your team leaves you if it's a truly close game, but it's your game to lose or win epically with a man down. That's halo.

Rocket launcher spawns...SUPER fast on the new map.
Chris Hansen replied to Chris Hansen's topic in Halo 4
It does make for some awesome chaos, along with the shotguns and the sticky detonator re-spawning pretty quickly too. -
I'm all for my favorite power weapon showing up frequently, but the spawn in Landfall makes it so your team MUST be oriented around where they spawn or face an almost unending torrent of rockets. I like the map weapons spawning faster, but that rocket is outrageous lol.

Idea for a new Armour Ability: Promethean Jump
Chris Hansen replied to RedStarRocket91's topic in Halo 4
Sounds retardedly over powered. Imagine every person you're shooting teleporting away. You even said that this is a "Frustrating" technique when used by Knights, and it is. What happened to bubble shield? At least that harkens back to halo 3. -
The odst most likely BECAME spartans. They were always the most badass of the marines, who better to enter the spartan program?
-
It's definitely a power weapon when used correctly, try this some time: Don't hold the trigger down, but hit it as fast as you can. You're fire rate will be similar, but the weapon will be 3 times more accurate, just dropping people at DMR ranges if you're a good enough shot.

Survive 2 sticks in a warthog with this loadout!
Chris Hansen replied to Chris Hansen's topic in Halo 4
Quick, delete the thread! lol -
The radar in call of duty is similar, but only shows up when an enemy fires. However there are things you can obtain in the game that make it much more broken then the Halo MT. The black bird or V-Sat makes the game retarded, it displays enemies on the radar no matter what they are doing for a limited time, meaning you can literally play OFF of your motion tracker and own people. I love the motion tracker in halo and it's always been a part of halo's multiplayer. I HEAVILY rely on it in every game, weather I'm being defensive or offensive. In gametypes where you are deprived on motion tracker it's also fun, as people don't look behind them nearly as much for easy assassinations.

Survive 2 sticks in a warthog with this loadout!
Chris Hansen replied to Chris Hansen's topic in Halo 4
After a full day of playing with this set up, I've survived some truly outlandish things. My favorite moment was taking 4 rockets in the scorpion tank, and then a plasma grenade before a second grenade finished me. The rockets were staggered of course, but they were all direct hits. but usually a tank can only take maybe 3 rockets total before it's destroyed? I think when I have a friend on later I'm going to test in a custom game exactly the difference with not having the set up, to only having wheelman, and then wheelman + explosives. -
The op was referring to the DMR. He caused a massive amount of confusion by saying BR. lol If he was referring to the DMR he would be right. I was playing for a good 5 hours yesterday, using every gun EXCEPT the DMR, just to see and get commendations for other starting guns, and it's a joke. The DMR besides very close range, just owns everything. It's very easy to use the weapon unscoped and it's slightly more powerful as the battle rifle but much longer range. After seeing initiates post...yes, let this be the last post and let this die.

Survive 2 sticks in a warthog with this loadout!

yeah wheel-man is common sense, adding explosives to it puts it over the top though. -
Survive 2 sticks in a warthog with this loadout!
Chris Hansen replied to Chris Hansen's topic in Halo 4
Thanks, yeah, it's usefulness is only in big team battle. It actually makes using things like the ghost viable. -
My plasma grenades have magnetism or something, because I can miss someone by a couple of inches, and it will just "snap" to the enemy...sort of a reverse problem lol.

Primary weapon: Doesn't matter (DMR most likely since it's big team) Secondary weapon: Plasma pistol Grenades: Plasma grenades Armor ability: really doesn't matter for this, whatever you want Here is where the actual build is made: Tactical Package: Wheelman Support Package: Explosives Explanation: I haven't heard anyone try this combo so I gave it a shot the other day. It makes your vehicle MUCH tougher. In a warthog you can take two plasma grenades and not be destroyed, which was utterly shocking to me so I tested a couple more times and sure enough, if you get stuck anywhere not right next to your driver seat you will survive two sticks. In a ghost you can take 3 Gauss shots, up from two and small arm fire does much less damage. The banshee is also much tougher with this on, I've used it a couple of times with this load-out on exile and it seems like it can take much more DMR fire without degrading. I didn't get stuck in the banshee so I'm not sure if you can take more then two direct sticks but I think you can. In the scorpion tank, I felt like I was almost twice as tough as compared to not using Wheelman and explosives. Taking grenades like they were nothing and shrugging off most damage besides the biggest things hitting me. Normally it's pretty easy to demolish the tank with just a couple of plasma grenades and a plasma pistol. Anyway I saw such a drastic improvement in my vehicles longevity that I felt compelled to come post about it. Wheelman + explosives (it reduces grenade damage you take by about 10% people report) but I suspect it reduces ALL explosive damage on you.

Shielding has EXTREMELY limited uses. I listed one good load-out using it, and there is only one really: Using it in conjunction with the gunner perk makes for a powerful warthog gunner or turret gunner. But like I said this is if you were PLANNING on only being a gunner. If you wanted to drive at all wheel-man is the better perk hands down.

It would be a much better endeavor, if the 3 crimson maps weren't all balls.

I have to admit, all the maps are pretty good this time around. FFA is awesome, and better then Regicide. The team games on these maps are fun, if not overwhelming at times.

I think it's just the exp, it's worth it though as that's a nice chunk.
