343 just needs to learn how to take the entertainment to the max which sadly is a very hard thing to pull off.

The game has the features and primary aspects that it needs but fails to fill in the crevices. This game was built like a map with moderate detail but when people try to use it to navigate they become confused, flustered, and even frustrated. This is because they get caught up with all the imperfections of the map instead of focusing on using the map. There is really nothing wrong with this except that people don't enjoy the game as much as they could because they are continually raging over the flaws, therefor, making their opinions of the game even MORE negatively biased. The xbox 360 itself is dying, not the game in general. Since the game only has 45k-60k on matchmaking at a time and is in 4th place in matchmaking population then it really isn't doing too bad. Keeping that in mind, that many people 5 years ago would have been more of a joke for a AAA game. The games aren't getting worse or less popular; they are just suffering for xbox 360's diminishing popularity. Just because he thinks that way doesn't mean that a lot of other people think the same way. What I was saying is that in saying "alot of people think that way" wouldn't be the same as actually seeing the people post about it. When you write "alot of people think that way" people normally disregard it and take it with a grain of salt because it fails to really demonstrate how many people actually think that way. -It is not proof, just someone saying that there is a possibility of showing proof. (You understand my reasoning here?) I'm not mad, I just think a lot. And I'm actually happy!!
-
You commonly put that "alot of people also feel the same" as a reinforcer to give your post validity. You don't need it and your post would have the same affect without it. Many people will have the same opinion as you and they will actively express that opinion if it is that important to them. So in making your post people will read it and think"oh, he thinks that way too" and maybe come to ponder it. By saying that "alot of people think that way too" you are trying to speak for other people which could genuinly be what they thought or just something you added to the end of your post to give it some authority.

Yes, its not wrong for people to enjoy the mental stimulation acquired through conversation, yet, nothing long and worth while is achieved through the conversation other than exercising some brain tissue. There may still be a chance that someone who is important towards the production of Halo content would read this thread and reflect from it, it just isn't as likely considering that this is only a community forum. In the back of their minds people post biased things on this forums in hope that it will eventually be spread off somewhere or to someone meaningful. Though, this is all true, a small issue as the ones I degraded in my previous post have the potential to evolve into something "important" but only with stimulating conversation as mentioned in the first conversation. This is what i strive to do, and the fact that I disregarded that very thing proves my arrogance after all. I'm not going to change what I wrote in the first sentence so this can remind me of the adaptation of my perspective through writing this post. Like ancient Indian artistic customs, I will leave a flaw in my writing to signify human imperfection, which in this case is my mis-judgement.

I wasn't talking about which tasks they perform nor did I say they didn't exist. I stated that I didn't see any in Halo 4 (Which is because the infinity is home to the spartan 4 program). There isn't a reason which I have noticed that Spartans can't deploy through an ordnance system as well. Also, I was a little daring stating to drop the ODST program and I understand the reasoning behind why they exist but who said there can't be an adaptation from the ODST program making a hell jumper Spartan. Who said there can't be a MEDIAN between a Spartan and an ODST. No, not now, but maybe within the next 600 years.(sarcasm, to be smarty about it)
-
Firefight would simply be too great of a change to the game to be a DLC download. it would have to come through a game extension disc, sort of like how odst was an extension of halo 3, or just come with halo 5.
-
Everyone knows and loves those ODST's or Ordnance Drop Shock Troopers but what if instead of continuing the ODST program (which I haven't seen in Halo 4) they just developed it for spartan use, therefor, making the technology more beneficial. Now that it seems that Spartans are no longer a valuable resource they could begin doing daring operations with their Spartans. You could call these Spartans Drop Shocks, Hell Divers, or whatever name you guys can come up with. This could be placed in War games;invasion, firefight, spartan ops, and possibly even custom games!
-
It would makes sense to put elites in war games invasion because they needs some practice against actual covenant and not other Spartans. Wenches who defy the inevitable are eternally hopeless.

What would you guys think of a sentinel gun that would turn its beam sort of how the needle does it, BUT, it can simultaneously hit multiple targets at once while dividing the beams strength among the targets. Also, what if the pulse grenade acted as a gravity well. It would pull people at a certain range toward the grenade making them an easier shot and possibly pulling them into the grenade itself. The weapon would need to be balanced by slightly weakening it. I'm going to add more in a bit. In the mean time feel free to post on here about what weapons you would like in halo 5.

Halo 5 weapons, equipment, maps, and everything else

Holy snap that is brilliant.... It pulls you in the direction of the grenade making you slower and an easier shot. So if you are not hit by it the pulse grenade may still cause your death. You would need to slightly weaken the grenade though to make it balanced... Do you mind if I start a thread about this. I will give you the credit.- 20 replies

ALL HALO FANS!!!! ANYONE CONCERNED WITH THE CURRENT STATE OF HALO 4.
Delpen9 replied to ISTRAFED UP0NI's topic in Halo 4
Your wrong dude, this generation of the xbox is quickly dying out and if reach has the same number of people online then why is halo 4th in matchmaking population and reach is the 9th? -
People i know who have a 2-3 k/d play matchmaking when they are doing good and immediatly quit when the game isn't in their favor. It is very unlikely that you will find someone who has a genuine k/d of over 2. The best players i know don't have a k/d that reflects their ability, in turn being underestimated by everyone they play. thats all )

The change in multiplayer population between halo games can really be linked to the economy AND decrease in overall xbox users. That and people who have converted to Call of Duty, a thriving minecraft, and may have also disliked the game in general; I say that even if Halo 4 had been above everybodies imagining that the game's population wouldn't have changed that much from what it is now. The xbox is no longer in its prime and since this is a consol game and not a pc game, this game will probablty be dead by the time everybody buys the next gen consols. Also, the daily average of people on war games matchmaking at a time is set within the 60k range. -
took star wars for 4.05 bill.- you may be on to something there

This is a fan forum so 343 doesn't see what is posted here. Maybe if they posted this in a forum that matters instead of sqwauking at others. Though most of the comments I see on this site are unreasonably biased and conflict with other's opinions. I respect threads that are dedicated to important or urgent issues that seriously require changes but people are just filling up space with problems that have very little importance in the game and just cluttering the more important points. Some of these problems should be summed up into a more grand perspective instead of focusing on the "minute" issue. When I wrote that I was in a snooty write quick mood so I would be able to say something meaningful in the thread later.

The didact was made immune to the composer. His attempt to make himself immune to the flood failed, as a result, deforming his face to what you saw in the game.

The reason you don't like this game is because your running along with the negative hype. Every game in the market now doesn't compare to halo 4. There are normally around 85k on at a time with it lowering to 30k at late night. The game might have multiple flaws but so did halo 2. Halo 2 was going to fail until it was fixed after a series of important updates. I care so your "no one cares" is a lie.... -
Like all your optimism in all these posts you make. Nice to see a post that isn't pessimistic every once in a while.

I don't think you have the right to say,"no one cares" when you are only one person. I don't like people expressing an opinion for me. "No one cares," lol, get back to 6th grade -
But have you seen that video about how halo eventually rules the world. It said that anyone who didn't own a copy of halo 7 were forced to watch the opening cutscenes of halo 5; to some considering it a death sentence.

Both I and twinreaper talked about bullet magnetism earlier in the post. The amount of radians a gun can aim assist at doesn't change but the distance that it can shoot at and the magnetism does change. Also, your reticule isn't forcibly dragged it is slowed. The amount of aim assist you recieve is not dependant on your controller sensitivity yet if your sensitivity was lowered to that of aim assist you wouldn't need aim assist anymore(though that would create lethargic gameplay). - It would be interesting to see a decrease in aim assist...

This is known as the MC disease. I'm afraid you only have 2-3 weeks left to live if even that. -
uniformatarianism- past events are repeated... This game feels like it was released to be the equivalent of halo:CE in the new trilogy but might have the matchmaking pattern that halo 2 had. therefor, if this is true then everything is fine.
