  1. Well, here it goes. The main objective of the game is to get your Scorpion Tank through the city to the vehicle-only teleporter to capture a hill and score a point. However, the Defending Team is scattered across the city and has access to multiple nooks, crannies, perches and trenches in their effort to stop Scorpion Team. The members of Scorpion Team who aren't driving or gunning the tank must move on foot and try to help out their Tank. What do you think?
  2. It's possible that it's another form of Lekgolo, just as Bungie said there was.
  3. I'm going to reference a lot to TV Tropes in my post. I'd like better character development. One good example I could think of for this would be Jul 'Mdama reminiscing over a music box or locket of his late wife. Jul 'Mdama may be the Big Bad of Spartan Ops but the best villains are often the ones the viewer can relate to. Just ten seconds of this could really help out Jul's character and the overall feel of Spartan Ops. Perhaps even have a group of Storm Covenant who are also protagonists in their own way. Second, better gameplay variety. One thing that would be an incredible addition to Spartan Ops would be the addition of puzzles; puzzles in First-Person Shooters aren't particularly shining examples of creativity in the gaming world given its limited/realistic physics... but I digress. Moving on to something a little bit more tangible, there are several types of levels I would love to see in Spartan Ops. Imagine piloting a Broadsword and fighting in a massive aerial-battle that's like Shutdown but with dozens of friendly and hostile AI. It'd be amazing, if laggy.
  4. Besides the red and black Council Security and the silver and green Council members, were any Forerunner Rates identified with certain colors?
  5. No offense, dude, but some of your weapons are already in the game/don't make sense. First off, your Gauss Rifle is basically the Railgun (they even use the same principles). Second, the Multi-Shot Detonator is basically the Needler but less effective.Third, the Revolver is a less accurate than the Magnum and has less ammo (the Magnum is surprisingly good at killing people). Fourth, firing three shots with one pull of a trigger IS a burst when regarding your Trioshot. The Shieldgun isn't a weapon at all. Sixth, your Fuel Rod Beam is by definition, technically impossible since a fuel rod is a solid projectile and not energy. Seventh, your Plasma Tracker is a Plasma Launcher with less ammo apparently; eighth, the Needler as of now can make a super-combine with just a few needles.
  6. Covenant Banshee: Offensive Aerial Vehicle. Covenant Draugr: All-Purpose Aerial Vehicle. (Original; believe it or not, not a Skyrim reference) Covenant Ghost: Speed Land Vehicle. Covenant Locust: Combat Walker. (First Seen in Halo Wars) Covenant Revenant: All-Purpose Land Vehicle. Covenant Wraith: Tank. Promethean Seeker: Offensive Aerial Vehicle. (Original; think of a Transformer Jet; constantly moving, sleek) Promethean Vindicator: Tank. (Original; think of a Transformer Tank; constantly moving, sleek) UNSC Hornet: All-Purpose Aerial Vehicle. UNSC Mantis: Combat Walker. UNSC Mongoose: Speed Land Vehicle. UNSC Scorpion: Tank. UNSC Sparrowhawk: Offensive Aerial Vehicle. (First Seen in Halo Wars) UNSC Warthog: All-Purpose Land Vehicle.
  7. SPARTAN OPS Battle Rifle Plasma Pistol Frag Grenade Shielding Ammo Immensely helpful in my Legendary Solo Runs.
  8. Seeing how there are no Elites aboard the Infinity, the War Games wouldn't exactly make sense if they had Elites. Even if they had one team as Elites or Prometheans to encourage fighting as it is on the field in Spartan Ops, the other team would complain or hate being the monstrous aliens like what happened in Gears of War.
  9. I would personally want to fight one of the Didact's Lieutenants ala Super Promethean.
  10. The Brutes weren't probably in the Covenant Colony that became the Storm and I doubt Jul would allow them to do anything after what happened with the Great Schism.
  11. I saw it as well when I was doing my Solo Legendary Run on Chapters 1-3. It was weird seeing a Sangheili Commander shooting at me with a peashooter.
  12. I'm currently working on a Forge Map down in the slime biome of Erosion and I'm looking for some suggestions and feedback. I currently have one base set up right now directly above the slime but I want to incorporate the slime as an important feature of the map; to have a toxic, noxious feeling to the map, if that can be understood. Then I want to know how I can publish my map to THFE possibly. My Gamertag is Dragonzzilla and I can only play for extended periods of time. Care to help a brother out?
  13. Whenever I play Spartan Ops, me and my team die too many times limited lives. You can die quite easily on Legendary.
  14. I've come across a problem. I can't get that cave I want, and that's essential to the map feeling. The station pieces allow me to do the layout but it wouldn't work like that really. Closed walls are what I need. Suggestions?
  15. If you could add any sort of new opponents to Spartan Ops, what would you add?
  16. In Halo 4, colors seem to be less relevant than they were in the original trilogy. Covenant come in multiple colors now but they differences are completely cosmetic. I've seen orange Grunt Imperials, red Jackals and even green Elite Officers. The armor differences is all that matters for the Storm.
  17. I am able to do a more rigid layout compared to the rough, organic shapes of the map. Similar layout was well. However, I fear that if I just do the shape's, I'll be lacking a certain "umph", know what I mean?
  18. So I got Halo 4 but I've run into a problem in Forge. I can build the layout, sure, but I haven't found a way to include some of the features such as the bridges that you can get knocked off into the lava. The Station Pieces allow you to see outside but I don't want that. Help?
  19. I think the more gametypes viable on this map, the better. Objective-based gametypes could be just as awesome as Slayer, if not more seeing how I could focus more on the map's locals and features than. Yeah, that could work.
  20. The setting is a Forerunner-esque space station, so Orbit is probably our best bet.
