  1. It hasn't been confirmed. I agree, OP. AAs are horrible ideas for Halo. No one can give me a legit reason for their inclusion in Halo 4 other than, "Halo's getting stale so we need to spice it up!" In which case I say, "play a bloody different game you bugger!" If you get bored of playing chess, you don't campaign for chess to be changed! You play a different game!
  2. No. 'We' don't know that we want more vehicles. I for one don't even like vehicles, and would rather a few refined ones rather than a truckload of crap. Default's for kings; I don't want armour customization. Surprised? I don't have a gripe with 'em, but they're at the bottom of my list. If we had more or less in Halo 4 I wouldn't care. No armour abilities whatsoever! More forge options: yes. Why? Why dilute the sandbox? Give us more custom game options, such as the ability to change individual weapon traits and you don't need to include "all weponds back". Wouldn't care for such a feature, but I have nothing against it. Get out Kids are so absorbed in **** games like CoD that the art of arcade shooters is getting lost as devs are just bending over and pleasing the 'CoD' generation. An improved 1-50 system, yes. Oh, and hear you are proposing 'killstreaks' for Halo. Yea...
  3. Your point is? Halo was originally going to be a RTS. Things get changed for a reason, though.
  4. Ah, Avatar... people say Avater 'ripped' on Halo, but I just don't see it, personally. If anything, Avatar is a total rip-off of Oddworld! I mean the similarities are insane! Yea, in Halo 3 she was a hawt young thing. In Halo 4 she looks like a soccer mom.
  5. I don't think that'd be awesome. It'll disrupt my view, and the 'death-cam' is actually very handy.
  6. Ewwwww. I'm not gonna lie. I think it looks a bit stupid. It just looks too curvy, and if it's new why's it all scratched up...
  7. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! You're not wrong, it definitely would change the gameplay. I don't like Mech shooters, so I'm sure you know my answer to your suggestion. I've got a question, though. How would they benefit the Halo gameplay? They wouldn't. They'd just needlessly change it, and that's why you won't see Mechs in Halo 4.
  8. And yet people still bother with setting up tunneling programs like Kai and XBC to play it online. Obviously not everyone shares your mentality that because it's old it's bad. "But ZOMG, mum! That's soooooo 2005!" I wouldn't mind a re-make, but only if everything was the same. Of course they can graphically upgrade it.
  9. What's the point of armour customization? Gameplay wise? Absolutely nothing, but ego wise? Inflate it, of course. Your suggestion is un-Halo, to say the least. Halo has always (well, up till Reach anyway) been about everyone starting on even ground and fighting your opponents for advantages. That way you've rightfully earned that advantage. It wasn't given to you off-spawn by mommy's hand. This is why a lot of 'old' Halo players dislike Reach. It breaks this Halo tradition of starting players of on even footing by giving you AAs off-spawn. What you're suggestion would absolutely destroy even and fair gameplay. Other games offer what you like. Play 'em. Oh, and I'd just like to say that I hate armour customization and that default is for kings!
  10. They're not trolling. You posted your idea on a public board and we're giving you feedback on your idea. Just because the feedback's not all airy fairy doesn't mean we're trolling. It means we don't like it. Anyway, I personally hate your wants. I hate the cR system and how cR determines rank. Obviously I wouldn't want them in Halo 4. I don't particularly like armour customization either. I think Halo 2 had it right in that department. You could customize your colour and emblem and that was it; that's all you need. Space battles... oh dear. I'm just going to say I don't like 'em either.
  11. No thanks. I enjoy FPSs, not 3rd person shooters. Also, having the option to switch out of first person and into 3rd person gives the player in 3rd person a much large FoV. Competitive Halo would be in 3rd person, basically, and like I said, I enjoy FPSs not 3rd person shooters.
  12. If by different you mean ugly, then yes.
  13. ^ This guy knows what he's talking about. Halo's a FPS, and vehicular combat worked in Halo because you could get out of your vehicle any time you wanted. With space combat you're confined to that vehicle; you can't get out. That's not fun for those that actually like FPSs. If you want a space ship shooter play one.
  14. Yea, there's a new trilogy, and if it's a success you should expect another trilogy after that. Why stop producing something that's good?
  15. ... ... ... ... I don't see why not. Couldn't care less, to be honest.
  16. Don't worry. It's practically guaranteed that you'll have customizable armour and colours. As for matches. Well it'll probably work in the same way Halo 2/3/Reach worked in that you pick a playlist and search for a game via MM. The gameplay probably will be different to Reach's, though. Hopefully, anyway.
  17. "Impostering" is a necessity. It was used in Halo 2, and was probably used in CE and 3, though I didn't notice it in those two games. Basically, you either imposter stuff at a distance or just have worse graphics overall. Take your pick. I prefer things looking crazy detailed up close. Also, the grainy effect was intentional and was actually meant to 'boost' the art direction. Though, I agree. Get rid of film grain! It doesn't belong in a FPS.
  18. Eh, more like Halo 2 and CE. H3 was okay, but it had slightly long kill times and equipment were a pain in the ass. Honestly, I think AAs are redundant. If you look at Halo 3 to Reach you'll notice that Spartans are no longer able to run as fast or jump as high. This was made so that AAs like sprint, evade and jetpack would be more useful. Nerf character traits so that a cheap gimmick would work. Yuck. The other AAs, well, they're just bad no matter how hard you look at it. AAs and equipment should stay out of Halo MP.
  19. You sound like you know him by the way you put words in his mouth. I do it to everyone. It's a bad habit, I know.
  20. and that is another thing that spawning on this game really sux and you have to admit that. but back to the topic you control you weapon spawns and that leaves the other completely helpless. dont you think at all times each team should have and equal importunity to win? No. Good players are the ones controlling weapons and the map. Only the bad players suffer. Get better at the game. Don't like it? Play CoD.
  21. Amen! Listen, if Halo 4 was to be like that then what separates it from being CoD, or any one of those numerous shooters like that, besides the obvious, "it looks different"? If you want that style of play then play that style of game. Halo isn't that style, and it never will be. Lastly, lolnotroll.
  22. lolinorite? Whilst all his ideas aren't bad, a lot of them... uh... are. Sorry, it's just the truth. I'll try and make this simple. - No gimmicks. That means no equipment, AAs, or bloom. - A badass campaign. Whatever you like, just don't go making the Chief and friends emotional orangutangs. Which I think you're going for. Calling the Chief "John" and whatnot. We'll see... - A balanced weapon sandbox. Having weapons that are good in their niche and bad everywhere else is not good balancing. Such 'balancing' leads to over dominance of weapons like the BR as they're the only weapons that allow players to actually move freely without being restricted by their weapon's niche. It also leads to a lot of weapons not getting used. I mean, who picks up a plasma repeater over an AR. lol I don't know, that's it really. Surprise us. And all the people saying no flood, lolno. We need flood
  23. I approve of this thread. Though, MLG wasn't 'created' in Halo 2. It was around before that. Reliving the classic maps in HD... would be so awesome. Button combos should stay, too
