Ok thanks, is there a way to check ban time?

Me and some buddies where playing halo 4 and we left to go get some food and i accidently left my game on, when I came back it said i was banned from getting xp. What the heck did I get banned for and will I ever be able to level up again?? I just put in like 9 double xp matches and I get 0 now.
