I am both excited and worried about the implemation of a shoutbox. While we are still a small community right now we will grow and many of the immature people will come. It is easy to administer bots into the system which have wonderful effects. I am really hoping that instead of bigger maps they focus on a stronger budget. If they could improve upon the rendering system of Reach so and further increase it, it could hold more objects in an area without problems.

True but more often custom games is more for fun than competitiveness in which case it is FUN Matchmaking is meant to be competitive.

You're barking up the wrong tree, 343 had nothing to do with Halo Wars and likely never will. Ensemble created Halo Wars and they too were owned by Microsoft. Due to low profits Ensemble was disbanded so unless the copywrite is sold than it is unlikely we'll ever see a sequel.

Yes sadly Microsoft killed them last year. It would be nice if 343i could buy the permisson to put servers of their own for Halo 2, since very little of them are being used yet.

This is very easily fixed though, even in Halo 3 you could set your settings to local and there would be absolutely no lag because you aren't connected to the servers. You could play with you friends on the couch without worrying about lag.

Call me a hater or a noob or whatever you please but... Armor abilities destroyed Reach's multi-player potential. No one doubts that it needed some innovation after Halo 3 but Bungie took it the wrong way. The armor abilities made me feel like I was playing some bad shooter that had tacked on multiplayer. If you over look the multiplayer Reach was a grand game. A solid campaign with amazing Firefight and an astonishing forge mode. Armor abilities are great except for PVP in which case it is infuriating. So the point of the rant was that Armor abilities aren't for matchmaking, it ruins the competitiveness of it but it does intensify custom games. This is all just my opinion too.

Hello my name is Ian my gamertag is Emo Kitten 32 I have been a fan of Halo since Halo 3 came out, I went back and obsessed over Halo Ce and 2. I have been a member on the halo forums on bungie since 2007 but just joined here. My laptop is fried and I am still scrounging up the money for a new one but my brother lent me his spare for awhile and I didn't hesitate to join. My first thoughts of the site were "Clean and crisp" but then i Looked in more detail. I humbly apologize to 343 and whomever made the site but it looks very unprofessional. I see very little to no custom code. It seems like it was made using the proboard layout but mildly customized. Now please don't mark me as a jackass, i'm a good guy but this website needs some work. On to the good impressions, after reading the news I realized what a great idea prizes are. A way to reward active mannered members on the site, genius. I think this site is a diamond in a rock shell that just needs some cleaning and some work and a lotta love.Lots of features, friendly staff.

Wow i just migrated over from Bungie and I have to say that this is quite amazing. An intricated fair prize system to reward loyal fans and members. I like it.
