I Kinda liked the eyes cuz in the books they are described as having silver eyes. (plus it made Jenna Berman look hotter then she already is) My only qualm was the hair color and choice of spartans, I love Kelly and who they picked for her, i just would have rather seen Linda with her red hair. And also i did a little digging, when i said earlier i would have preferred Sam, It would appear he's already dead when this battle occurs.

like, they wanted to be able to make all decisions based on the movie. Casting, Effects, Plot, stuff like that.

They was aimed at Frank o'Connor and the rest of the 343 team that did commentary on the FUD DVD. Frank and the producers said that they hope to bring in a big studio after this proves that live action halo movies can be done. And the reason why nobody wanted to fund Jackson is because his budget was freaking huge, even by LOTR standards. Also, Microsoft studios wanted full creative control (which Jackson and the other studios disagreed with), which imo is a good thing, i dont want Halo ending up like Prince of Persia.

In the commentary they said FUD was also used to show that live action halo could be done. I really hope this gets a big studio on board, if they can toss 34 milllion (or some other gigantic number) on a movie like Lord of the Rings, then they should be able to fork over a couple million for Halo.

In the books though Fred is usually the other team lead (Red-one), and John has Kelly/Linda/Sam/James. I was just wondering why they chose two spartans who look almost identical.

yeah i mean I had a little fanboy scream when it showed spartans without their helms, but I thought it woulda been a better contrast to show Linda with her red hair next to fred's pitch black. But maybe since Linda was already featured in a commercial they figured it was kelly's turn to shine.

Her tag on her armor is 087 in the movie, If you read the Novels 087 is Kelly (104 the other one in the movie is Fred). Sorry about it being in the wrong place, as you can see by my post info i'm new here, so if an admin wants to point me in the right direction go for it.

Hey guys, just a question for you: Why did you use two of the darkest haired spartans to take off their helms? I love kelly to death, but wouldnt the contrast from Linda's red hair been better? Less fanboyish people who havent read Fall of Reach will prolly now think that all spartans are Jet black hair monstrosities with silver eyes. Also, Any word on a possible sequel? I'd love to see Fall of Reach (book) adapted into live action.
