I would like for it to still have Credits, but make it so you earn them mostly by performance. Some would still come from game completion, a good amount, but not like all of it like in Reach. This would make it so AFK wouldn't happen as much. You don't lose credits for deaths. You can only gain credits added onto the game completion like in Reach, except that amount won't be weighted so much. Now, make it so you can get armor from Waypoint, and some from just doing achievements and not needing waypoint at all, then most of them would require just credits. Also make some armor where you have to do all 3, or just use 2 of the ways to get the armor, such as an achievement, then you unlock it. Or use all 4 (4th is your rank) where you have to be a certain rank (Sort of like a weird achievement I guess), do an achievement, go on waypoint and unlock it, then buy it in the armory. These would be like super armor though and be extremely awesome looking but hard to get. This would allow for more original armor as some people are just to lazy to try to get that stuff and it allows for a good ranking system.

They're doing new maps for Reach, Halo: CEA, Halo 4, and a TU for Reach. They're busy. I want new maps more than remakes. You can't just use the same maps every game. Each game needs it's own maps that will always be remembered such as the ones in previous Halos.

Security last attachment. I'm currently using Security with the first attachment. I also like CQB and Operator with the First attachment (I don't like the huge camera thing on Operator, only the UA thing).

Title Update for Reach: Full list of reasonable changes.
SilentCO1 replied to ENP No Trace's topic in Halo Reach
Fix the betrayal system. If you're killed with anything besides an Explosive, you get the option to boot that player. I hate when people betray me for the sniper on Hemmorhage, and I kill them back and get booted. It's retarted. If you die 3 times by an explosive from a certain player, you get the option to boot them though. Keep AL. Stop being a baby, it doesn't really do anything unless you're so stupid to stand next to them when you know it sends out an EMP. If you're that stupid, get off of Reach. It's easy to counter. Just time a nade, it's so easy. Stop complaining. Make Bloom what people would say "Worse". Atleast for Precision Weapons. You shouldn't be able to DMR spam across Hemmorhage and hit every time, that's stupid. -
Halo CE (Original Xbox Version)
SilentCO1 replied to Spectral Jester's topic in Halo CE + Anniversary
Playing with my bro. I was little though so I barely understood it. But I remember playing Silent Cartographer I think it is? You jump out of the Pelican onto the beach with a bunch of Marines and fight a group of Covenant forces. -
Guys, they will probably use the armory again in Halo 4. So, how would you buy armor with exp? Credit system, but make it so it's based on performance.
-
Do Credits, but make it so it would work like exp. But you can't lose it, because everyone would be a tryhard and spawn kill and camp and the game would be extremely stupid. So just make it so you get credits by performance mostly. And you still get a good sum from finishing the game. If you want to see how good someone really is, just go on the official Halo page and see there BPM.

CE Terminals to Provide Hints for Halo 4
SilentCO1 replied to Spectral Jester's topic in Halo CE + Anniversary
It sounds very interesting. Wait, what will they even look like? And will it be like a cutscene? -
I would like to spawn AI for Invasion and FF. More vehicles (Phantom, Pelican, Scarab, etc). More objects, equivalent objects but belong to a different faction (Such as having a "UNSC Block", A "Covenant Block", and a "Forerunner Block" to make things like bases for each faction in Halo). Forge World that consists of many environments such as desert, beach, shallow water, underwater maybe, hilly, grassy, plains, snowy, etc. Maybe even if you go up high enough, it's zero-g and you're in space.
-
343i is a good company and I highly doubt they will ruin Halo. We will see what they are capable of at HaloFest and when CEA comes out. We got a little hint with the Defiant Map Pack, but Certain Affinity helped them with that so we're not too sure.
-
I would like your armor to actually effect you in battle. But, I don't think it will happen. The lower ranks will be at a disadvantage because their armor won't be as big or great. So higher ranks would have all these protections. And everyone would use CQB in Infection.
-
FireFight Battle... Each side gets atleast 2 or more players each (Preferably more). Would be like Firefight versus, but both teams get AI's. 7 rounds (Bungie reference to remember what they started) and whoever wins the most takes the game. Troops are dropped off each round. If you won the previous round, you also keep those troops. Weapons and Vehicles are dropped each round too, it would be possible to destroy drop ships as well, but very hard to do. This would take a lot of heavy power, maybe a target locator shot or two. But this would be awesome and a huge fight. Also add Space Battles and everthing else I posted in my other threads in the halo 4 forums such as "Dawn" the multiplayer map and everything else. And FloodFight. And in Infection, replace Zombies with the Flood.
-
I want a huge Firefight mode where atleast 2 players are on each side, and each side gets a TON of AI. You play 7 rounds (Just to remember Bungie) and whoever wins the most, wins the game. This would be awesome, troops would be dropped off each round, and you get to keep your troops from last round if you won. Weapons would also be dropped. But I think FloodFight should be added.

I agree on the Armor Abilities. Except, atleast keep Sprint and Jet-Pack. Jet-Pack wasn't really an ability, more like a Special Forces Unit given thing, like to ODST and stuff. So why shouldn't a Spartan have one? Or maybe it could be replaced with built in thrusters, that could just give like a super jump, up to like 15 feet high until you fall down. I'm not sure. But I liked Jet-Pack, and I always use it unless people are using AL, then I be like, "How do you like it now"??

MM Space Battles: Based of Battlefront 2. Longswords, Pelicans, Sabres, others, for UNSC. Spirit, Phantoms, Banshees, Seraphs, others, for Covenant (Actually, this should be replaced with Forerunner ships maybe because there will be a new enemy?). So the UNSC gets a Frigate and the other team (Don't know who it will be) will get other ships. The would also have suits that could survive in Space for the duration of the game (They could last longer in the Haloverse). So you could fly around outside in Zero-G, or Low-G with some Rockets or a Sniper and snipe off of your own cruiser. All enemy ships would have waypoints, to make it easy to point them out. Big maps. It could just be Red vs. Blue armies, with ships being either default color with waypoints, or they could be the team color with waypoints or without them. Destroy the enemy cruiser from the inside or outside. You can hack the enemy turrets to fire at their own team (Can be hacked back to normal too). The inside of the ships could be a little bigger than in Battlefront 2. Invasion: Add AI's to Invasion. You know, so it actually feels like an Invasion. Better Maps: Original Maps please, like the one I made in a thread called "Dawn". That seems pretty awesome. More players: Make it so more than 8 vs 8 can be played. Atleast up to 16 vs 16, Homefront can do it, why not Halo? Dedicated Servers: Would help with all the lag that would be caused by all of these additions. Firefight 3.0: Make it so you can create barriers to defend yourself. You can call in weapons, make barriers/doors (Plasma or metal). You can make turrets, vehicle drops, etc. Just make it feel more like you're actually defending something. maybe make a better version of Generator Defense, where it's something you can pick up and move (Can't put it out of a certain area, or it teleports back to center). That way you can strategically set up defenses and such. New Weapons and AA's: I heard AA's will be added so make new ones. Keep Jet-Pack, Sprint, and Evade. But make some new ones. Make Forerunner weapons. This would just be for MM. There are many more things but it's late and my fingers hurt for some reason So add something. Here is Forge: Forgeworld 2.0: Much larger, with several environments and an upper space region for zero-g environments and custom space battles. Each environment would be cut off, and be very different. Some would be, grassy, hilly, plains, snowy, desert, space/zero-g, etc. Make it so you can add skins to objects or atleast have an equivalent object for the UNSC, Covenant, and Forerunner to make faction bases and such. It's hard to tell if the base you made actually belongs to the Covenant in Forge World. More vehicles, new Forerunner vehicles, and UNSC and Covenant Vehicles such as Phantoms and Pelicans and maybe even a Scarab. Make it so you can add AI's too, and you can make them belong to a certain team, or be neutral (attacks anyone) or civilian (Doesn't attack anyone). And for Campaign, Make it HUGE, and extremely fun and replayable. Maybe even make it where you have to make a decision that could change the whole game and have alternate endings (Would be different, but it could be at the end of the game so you could just re-do it and get the better/right/option that makes you live. I'm not sure about the different endings now that I think about it, but make a twist. Suprise us, make it super fun and replayable, like CE. Not like Reach where after once it gets boring. Keep Difficulty at the same, but perhaps add a Mythic Difficulty which would be super hard and you wouldn't have a radar and some other things. So tell me if you agree. Thanks! Halo FTW.

I made a post about this to add to Reach in like a Title Update maybe. It was based off of Starwars Battlefront 2 also. So obviously, I agree. We need Space Battles, Battlefront was so addicting and this would make Halo better than ever. But to answer your question about Battlefront 3, money issues. They've gone through many developers, and it is thought that Spark Industries is doing it now. But the last game they made (Legendary, you can download the demo) was said to be extremely bad. So we're not sure what to expect. Sadly, Pandemic made LOTR: Conquest. Don't get me wrong, it was a great game and I still love it, but I would rather have a Battlefront 3. Especially since my Battlefront 2 disc for PS2 is too scratched to play

No offense, but these ideas are horrible, except for Space Battles and more colors. Lowering Ranks... I hope you're not serious. I can imagine some people playing the game so much with their friends who were the best in Halo and being total tryhards and Spawn Killing everyone. That would be a horrible idea. Imagine, Camping and Spawn Killing and Quitting would become even more of an issue than it is. This is the worst idea i've ever heard personally. And please, you're Master Chief. Helmet stays on until atleast the last Halo game with Master Chief still in it (even then, you must keep your helmet on in multiplayer). Another bad idea. I just want cR to not rely so much on completing the game. I like the cR system the most, but it should be halfly depended upon completing the game. The other half should be performance, and deaths won't take away from it. This would reward you for kills (might promote camping, but there should be something added where if you die 5 times in a row with no kills, you get an overshield, this would also help against spawn killing. If you get ten deaths in a row, and no kills, you get a temporary invincibility, wouldn't last long though to prevent people from over using this and wouldn't be told to anyone, they would have to find it out themselves). And then commendations and challenges etc. etc. etc. would add a lot of bonus credits. We also need a much bigger forge world with many different environments (snow, grass, plains, hills, desert, beach, underwater maybe?, and Zero G in space (To make custom space battles, would be sick).

The space part would be for balancing issues. You don't want it to be an all Close-Combat map, this would allow for jet-packs (hopefully those are in the game, they were the best AA) and snipers, but you couldn't go too far. Maybe just have it so like pieces of the ship are floating around outside and you can use them as platforms, except they move. And I'm not sure about the vehicle anymore. But, it would be smaller than it, built like a squished in ghost sort of into a ball, with a screen that they look out of to see the outside, but you can still see their body and head. It would have I guess like plasma repeater guns on it, or weak lazers that would be equal in strength to the repeaters. But it could fly in all directions and was made for zero/low-g environments. The map would also have several floors allowing for a bigger map, sort of built like countdown with several floors and "holes" in the floors (Except these holes would be made from explosions) to get around even quicker. No lifts though because it would be in Zero-G. Imagine, A forge world being based off of this sort of, made in space. Several Forge Worlds. One on land, bigger than the current Forge World. One in Space, Maybe one underwater, and some in all different terrains, or possibly, Forge World for Halo 4 will somehow have all of these in one map with the Space on being above all of the others. You could select the map you would like to use, or you could use several or even all of it! (Even though it would be HUGE). Sorry, off topic. But I would really like a map in Zero-G. Maybe a whole Zero-G playlist with several maps.

Hey, they know nobody likes AL. So they probably won't use it. They'll probably use a lot of new AA's so why complain? They will definately be more balanced, and we'll get to test them out in the Beta (They would be stupid not to have one) so don't worry.
-
Go complain on Bungie.net. You're just mad that you can't use them because you're not good enough to cunter them even though it's easy to counter them. You have access to the same abilities and you can use them if you want. So if you think it's cheap, use it.
-
No, the Jackals and Brutes are still enemies with us. Some species that were part of the Covenant are now allied with us, yes. But what is left of the Covenant still hates us and wants to kill us. I think drones hate us too.
-
Yes, EVERYTHING is the same. They're using the same engine as the original Halo: Combat Evolved. Just a new graphics layer is going to be added. It is going to be in Campaign, not in Multiplayer as Multiplayer will connect directly to Reach's Multiplayer.
-
I wouldn't mind. Each ability can be countered very easily. If you're cloaked, someone may have seen you go invisible, and your radar jams up to so you don't know if they're sneaking up on you. AL, just stand back and time a grenade perfectly. Evade, they can't shoot while doing it, same with Sprint, those actually can't really be countered as they just improve speed. I like them. Jet-Pack, they're in the open, get a needler. Drop shield, Get a shotgun. AA's are ok for me. I actually am not sure about them being pick ups. Think about it, everyone would just rush for them. Atleast make them one time use then, not unlimited in Halo: Reach, unless they are given as loadouts.
-
I would like this more in Halo: Reach. We don't even know if Halo 4 is going to use the Credit System.

Is there anthing you guys would want for multiplayer maps that you can think of right now?
