I think it will change for just that person, except idk about split-screen. But can you use this in Multiplayer? If you played on your CEA disc?
-
Yeah I just thought about keeping Elites for Elite vs. Elite gametypes. But use another species for Invasion, or it would ruin the storyline that Bungie set.
-
Next Generation. We will already have Halo: CEA. We need something new. Better forge, more vehicles, better armor, built in Sprint, take out AA's please, just Jet Pack, Sprint, and Evade. Replace Elites in MM with Brutes, Forerunners, or possibly Flood. Wouldn't make sense to fight Elites. Or possibly have it so we only use Brutes in Invasion or similar Gametypes, and have Elite vs. Elite playlists.

Hey 343i. So I was thinking, we should add AI's to every Spartan suit in MM. Like it would control everything about your suit, telling you about your shield strength and health, if it's low or not, so when in battle, you don't have to look up to see if you should take cover. It would tell you if there is an enemy nearby, so you won't have to look at your mini map. It could give details about far away enemies, such as what weapons they have and they're shield and health strength. In the armory, you could customize your AI maybe with a certain voice or maybe even how they look. The top one and hardest to get would be Cortana. And maybe they would show up in the corner of the screen, and obviously be holograms. They wouldn't take up a lot of room and they would be see through so they wouldn't block your screen. They would tell you if there was a nearby vehicle, and if it was Covenant or UNSC. Or if there are other factions in Halo 4. Another thing would be to add actual AI units (Marines, Brutes, Elites, Grunts, Hunters, etc.) to playlists. Such as Invasion, it could be a sub-variant. It would make more sense since an Invasion doesn't consist of 6 people, even if they do spawn over and over. Each phase, more units, and stronger units would spawn. Like if the covenant were in this game, for that side, it would start with players as Brutes (Elites, Grunts, and Hunters are allies with Humans now). Their allies would be jackals at first. Next, maybe drones would come in and lots of them would come since a headshot kills them. Then, maybe Brutes would come in along with everyone else. For the Humans, it would start with maybe grunts and marines. Next, would be ODST. And it would end with maybe Elites and Spartans and one Hunter. I think most people would like this gametype more than Invasion now. Vehicles would also be dropped by Pelicans and Phantoms each phase along with the starting units (When your AI's are about to all die, where you wouldn't have any left, either more are dropped off or more spawn). Another thing would be to replace Elites with Brutes or humanoid Forerunners. Elites are no longer enemies with Spartans, so you couldn't make them fight. With Brutes, there are is already armor for them, so you could use those and possibly create more armor. There wasn't enough Elite armor in Reach and they weren't that great. For Forerunners, they're new so you could create everything for them and start from scratch. I would personally like Brutes better since they still have that alien feel. So community, would you like these ideas? Let's try to get 343i to read this
-
I was just thinking about this. Maybe the Arbiter tricked all the other Elites, making them think that they were going home. But he was really just looking for Chief, and he eventually found him.
-
MC is obviously alive from the teaser. I'm thinking now that Elites may be replaced by Brutes because Elites are allied with the Humans now, but Brutes still have a disliking for the human race. It would be cool to play as brutes with some really good preset armor.
-
They should have a special Armor Effect better than flames. Armor for Brutes (I think they'll replace Elites in MM because Elites and Humans are friends now). Idk what else, I don't know enough about the game really. Maybe a statue of Chief standing on the Forward Unto Dawn reloading his gun looking at that forerunner thing as seen in the trailer. Would be cool. Come in a super cool container. Maybe it could come in a container shaped like the Forward Unto Dawn when it was in good condition. Or it could be in the shape of Chief's helmet and the stuff is inside, and you open it with a retractable door thing on the bottom of the helmet. That would be sick. What else should be in it? I need to know more of the game to know what should be in it.

Don't Worry Everyone!!! Sarge from Red Vs. Blue will come to the rescue because he is epic enough to find his way to that thing MC is at. Welcome the total -Blam- of Red vs. Blue. Let's see how long it takes until MC can't take it anymore and kills him, then he'll be replaced with Caboose in Halo 6, and MC will kill himself in the last level, ending Halo.

what about new weapons in halo 4 like the one in the trailer
SilentCO1 replied to gezzerwerp's topic in Halo 4
It doesn't seem like it launches grenades. Would grenades operate the same in zero-g? It probably fires some kind of pulse similar to the concussion rifle. The part put over the head of the gun probably creates that pulse like shot when you shoot it. But the gun is much bigger than a pistol. The handle wraps around your hand and makes the gun bigger than a pistol. So it could show to be new weapons. -
Hey 343i. I hope you read this. So let's get to my topic... So 343i should definately know that Elites are now sided with the Humans, along with some other alien species. Some alien species, however, didn't join this alliance and still are planning to destroy the Human race. So, since there is an invasion gametype, and there will probably be other gametypes with Spartans vs. Whatever. So, since the Elites are friends with Humans now, it would make no sense for them to fight. So we need something to replace the Elites. I reccomend these: Brutes: Big hairy guys, everyone knows them. Preset armor, more choices. They have their own weapons and more could be made to replace covenant weapons. Would make the most sense out of the three, tied with Forerunners maybe. Flood: The zombies of Halo. They use human weapons. Preset classes of Flood, would be things like a Infected Marine, Elite, Spartan, Brute, etc. Or just the classic infection form which would be better. Forerunners: This would be tied with Brutes in making the most sense. We aren't sure of their relations with humans yet. But they are thought to be on that thing in the teaser. If they weren't too big or too small, and humanoid in shape, we could possibly use them. My favorite would be Brutes, and it would be easiest for you to make. They are a classic since Halo 2, and already have some weapons and vehicles, so you wouldn't need to create a whole new species with their own weapons and vehicles. They also have different forms of armor, so it could allow customization, which would please the community very much. Such armor could be minor, the semi strong ones from Reach, and the strongest ones from Reach (Don't know names), chieftan armor from Halo wars. And some other cool armor. Brutes are also intimidating so it would be intersting to fight with them. Who would you rather use?
-
Most of it sounds good. No AA's. If there would be, just sprint, evade, and jet pack. Introduce new weapons. Maybe a spike grenade made by brutes. It shoots spikes in all directions. Takes longer to detonate, but if you're standing by a wall and you're hit by one, you get stuck for a temporary amount of time. Forerunner weapons. As of now, Elites are friends with Spartans. Brutes are not, and Brutes are still relatively the same size as a Human (Bit taller, but so are Elites), so it would make sense to replace Elites with Brutes. Make a LOT of Brute presets or just make Brute customization with let's say like 10 of armor for each piece of their armor. If you don't use Brutes, please use forerunners or precursors or something else. Not Elites, it wouldn't make ANY sense in Invasion and people would complain about how it makes no sense.
-
Maybe 32 people. The severs in Homefront can support that many. Maybe even more, because that was just the demo and it supported that many people. Then the squads would be 4 squads of 4. Then split into 2 squads of 5 and one squad of six.
-
Choices between Mark VI and Mark V and possibly Mark IV armor. Also choose if you want it battle worn or new, or maybe even radiated, where it looks like it's steaming and overheating.
-
Probably won't happen. Damage tables for just one weapon would have to be changed. Maybe they make a REAL Classic playlist where the devote to making weapons like the old days and the physics would be the same with maps that weren't made in forge.
-
Forgeable FF Maps. Better maps in general, especially for MM. Make it so your armor effects combat (not like bigger armor makes you stronger. It would be more like if you had rebreathers, explosions wouldn't affect your spartan in anyway other than hurt you, no blinding of the screen for a second or anything). Helmet attachments would let you connect with players more efficiently. If you had a certain one, it improves the details it shows of your team mates. Like far away, with one thing you can see what weps they have, what AA they have if the have them (hopefully not). You can see where everyone is through any obstacle. One improves your radar so it doesn't get jammed by stealth, It shows the stealthed person very lightly so you think they're on another floor or something. Halo Reach Credit system but make it so your rewarded on skill, not on game completion. Elephants, Phantoms, Spirits, Pelicans, Hornets, Scarabs (Maybe), some cool forerunner ships. Better everything in general.

This is the helmet he is talking about: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt ... 58&bih=670 Many call it the BoB Helmet. Nobody knows how to get it. It was seen in the Defiant Map Pack trailer and on the Xbox 360 home page thing for the Defiant Map Pack add. They obviously wanted to let us see it. So it must be unlocked somehow, or given somehow. Or maybe it's in the next Halo.
-
Make an entirely different one. It would be like credit wise, so you could buy multiplayer equipment, except the credits wouldn't come from finishing the game. Only like 100 credits would come from that. The rest would come from how you did in game, which would make up a LOT of credits. Usually I get like 4000 cR a game in FF in Reach. So like half is from finishing the game, the other half is from commendations. Okay, so make it so commendations are still worth a lot. But now, make it so kills give you a lot of credits, depending on how long the game is and how many times you died. Also make it so destroying an enemy controlled vehicle gives you a lot of points, and so do doing the objective given at hand. This would stop AFKers but keep the Reach Credit system, which a lot of people liked because they got to buy their own armor, and they actually had to work for it unlike in Halo 3 when you just do a quick achievement.
-
Idk, could work. I was thinking the Forerunner person would be like a playable character for co-op only. I think the Spartan team that was with Halsey would make more sense though, as there were 3 spartans (4 people total for co-op). But the story you made isn't good. They still have to make Halo 5 and 6, and from what you did, it sounds like there would be no room left for a 5th and 6th halo that include MC. It should stay focused on that world. Maybe the Flood have survived on that world, and MC has to find a way to destroy that place and get out as well. Maybe it's like a super halo, that would eliminate anything nearby, and all flood in the universe. Or maybe the whole next trilogy will take place on that thing, who knows?
-
I heard they were using a better engine that was in the making before Reach even came out. So it's been in devolpment, and Halo 4 will have a better engine I think. They definately should take out all armor abilities, EXCEPT sprint, evade, and possibly thrusters, which would be like a mini jetpack built into your suit, as seen in the teaser. Add some new guns, like because the covenant most likely won't be in the game, take out their weapons, and add forerunner weapons. Also make BETTER maps than in Reach. Most of the Reach maps were terrible except the Defiant Maps, Sword Base, Breakpoint, and the Spire. 2 of those were taken from Campaign though so they shouldn't even count.
-
Some forerunner vehicle, made to fit a humanoid a little bigger than a Spartan (Little smaller than Elite size). Would have an AI Installed in it that tells you about nearby enemies and what routes don't have a lot of enemies on them. It would look extremely awesome but it would be like as tough as a ghost, with one cannon that shoots a weak beam.
-
This would be a 20 vs. 20 gametype lets say. This would be like a better Invasion type. You would start in UNSC Cruisers and Spartans drop, and you're split into squads of 5. Each squad has a target to neautralize, or take over. Whne a squad captures a position (Could be a building), the install a program into a computer in the building that puts shields on the door, the enemy can't go in it then. You can't stay in the base too long or you start losing health. Only about 15 or 10 seconds. You can then help the other squads neutralize targets. You will also be fighting squads of Elites who have been asigned to defend targets. But, if you drift too far from your squad, the will be ordered to kill you, you will be warned first. So once you do that, you group up into 3 sqauds. 2 squads of 7 and 1 squad of 6 for each team. Keep in mind you can call in Pelicans for assistance the whole game. So next, each squad will be selected to destroy a Covenant building (Hangar for aircraft, Vehicle Depot, and Weapons armory). Keep in mind that the Elites can take any of these and use them, the doors only open for them. Each squad will be given a Bomb. Go and blow your target as quick as possible and help the other squads. In the Final round, it would turn into a Sudden Death sort of thing. You must assault The Covenant base. But, everyone only has one life. Once half of the Elites are dead, an AI on the Spartan team comes with a bomb. Protect him until he plants the bomb. He is an ODST, so he isn't as good as a Spartan, and he doesn't fight well. If he dies, pick up the bomb and plant it. Once the bomb detonates, the building will collapse. Escape to the Pelican (If any Elites are still living) and you win. This would have 30 minute games at the most. It gives a lot of cR as well. It would be very fun to play, but I don't agree to having an armory to buy weapons. They will be on the map already to still give that Halo feel. Take into mind that if the Covenant aren't in this game, your enemies will be whatever you're fighting the Forerunners most likely. They would have to be sort of humanoid atleast and not too big. Would you like this gametype 343i? Please add it to Halo 4, it would be awesome for big battles.
-
This is why you crouch walk. I always do that to sneak up on people in Reach. On the Spire, there are many sniping or rifle places to shoot from, so they don't really check they're map anyway. Just crouch walk or sprint toward them for an assassination.
-
Halo 4 will take too long to make. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, everything is already made. Just improve the graphics, remake the maps exactly how they were with new graphics, add terminals they were gonna put in campaign and do music again and -blam-! You're done. Halo 4, you need to start from scratch. Including making a whole new story that fits with Halo.
-
Well they should take them all out, and leave it so they have an automatic sprint built in. I like sprint, no the others. Maybe evade can be put in for Elites.
-
Maybe for Multiplayer if they make a new gametype. Idk what it would be called. But Forerunners would replace Elites in Multiplayer. This would be in some random time in the Halo universe, we find Chief and we're attacking the Forerunners, we drop Spartans from Drop Pods And Forerunners Spawn in some cool way, maybe being reconstructed from the ground. This could just be a random thing to do though so it doesn't hint at what happens in a future Halo game if it happens.
