All of those prizes are good. I hope I win one. I would say I would rather have either the 1600 Microsoft points, or the pre-order of Halo: CEA. I was planning on getting both of those soon, so it would save me either $20 or $40, good deal.
-
They said it will "eventually" be sold independently. So we don't exactly know if it will be with the release, or after the release. It will be though. And why wouldn't you want the Campaign?? It's the best campaign of the decade, right along with Halo 2.
-
If they put in any other "edition" of the game you can buy, it will be a Collector's Edition or an "Anniversary" Edition with a bunch of stuff about the Halo universe and all that. Not a Legendary Edition as it isn't a totally new game, just new graphics.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, but it would happen quickly. But it would help with shooting while doing the flip.

Nice, I'm a Hero. Just became one though. What helmet do you use?

So you guys know how Spartans fight in Halo Wars with the SMG's? They like flip around to dodge bullets? Imagine being able to do that in Halo during one of the FPS games. It would look awesome watching someone else do that, although it would probably be weird when you do it, seeing the whole screen flip around but not being able to see yourself. Lol, just a silly idea, but I thought it would be pretty cool if this was applied. Not saying I want it, but it would be pretty cool. Since AA's will be in Halo 4, it could be one. There's Sprint and Evade, why not Ninja Flip? So would you guys like the Ninja Flips? Also I'm not sure how it would look if you used it with a Rocket Launcher...? Lol, anyways, vote.

I would like this better in Halo 4. But then again, MC might have no backup at all in Halo 4. He could be totally alone. But it would be cool to use this on Silent Cartographer when you assault the beach with all those marines. I would like this in Reach too, the Marines don't follow you sometimes and you have to go back and be like "Hey, stupid, I'm going this way", then he's like oh okay, then gets lost again so you have to get him. You could use the other 3 d-pad buttons for this.

Well they said they would "Do something that hasn't been done before"... So Normal firefight with a regular map wouldn't apply to that. I think FloodFight.
-
Try to imagine Flood detailed like the Elites or Spartans are in Reach. It would actually be pretty scary playing the Library, especially if you turned your flashlight off.

I don't care much for the multiplayer. Reach's is fine, and we'll have some good maps. But I'll use the CEA disc for campaign. Keep the Elites the same. I loved freaking out when I saw an Elite rushing toward me with an energy sword. I thought there was no way to fight it (Then again, i was like 6 or 7, and only knew very basic fighting, I couldn't even be the gunner in a warthog since it moved too fast for me too shoot back then). I want that feeling again, even though this time around I think it will be much easier for me to fight them, they still had a better feel. Same with the Hunters, the Reach hunters seem easy to fight, hust use a hologram and a shotgun. 2 or 3 shots and they're down. I want it to be harder again, where you have to plan everything out and take several tries to defeat those things.

Big Team Objective should include Invasion. I wouldn't mind this.
-
I would say keep it. BUT, it needs a lot of changing. Each rank has their own credit cap, that would actually be hard to hit unless you literally played ALL day. This would make it so each rank has a specefic cap, that is hard to hit. I've only hit the cap twice, and I just became a Hero. I hit it on Bungie Day, and the day after Bungie Day. But I'm gradually going to start earning more credits, so I think the cap should be raised. Maybe each Rank System has their own Cap. Like all Colonels have this, All Generals have this, all Warrant Officers have this. Maybe even do it for the higher ranks. Field Marshall, Hero and Legend have this, etc. Probably not though.

I find the crosshair just fine. It may just be your eyes, do you wear glasses? I have never gotten a ban message, but I'm guessing it appears like how if your controller disconnects? Then yes, remove that. Spawning, first off, make it so you spawn in some kind of building with 1-way doors, but it's in a soft kill zone. If you die several times in a row, you get a small ability. I mentioned this to give players who are being spawn-killed a chance to fight back, and to stop AFkers in all gametypes, because they will just continuously die and 343i will see this. Or Bungie will if it happens before the hand-over. But yeah, to the spawning you were saying, I hate that. I just try to get as many kills as I can without it, I don't kill myself as it only hurts your team.

Title Update for Reach: Full list of reasonable changes.
SilentCO1 replied to ENP No Trace's topic in Halo Reach
Uhm, I don't use Armor Lock first off. I only use it Invasion, and that's to start with the shotgun, then I kill myself, get my Jet-Pack and get the shotgun. Why are you freaking out? Because you can't stop someone who can't move? Armor Lock was made to stop explosions. It's a counter for power weapons horders/campers. Bungie made it for a reason. When I do use it, I only use it for those purposes, and when I'm about to get splattered. That's what you get for trying to get a quick kill. I always use jet-Pack, so don't start ******** your pants because someone said it's a fair AA, because it is. If someone shoots a rocket at you and you go into AL, then you should have another Rocket. If not, then you got more than one kill that life, be happy, just wait until he comes out. And the reason the grenade doesn't work is because you're not timing it right. Don't freak out because you hate a tactic I don't even use. I doubt you're even old enough to be playing StarWars judging by how immature you're acting. It's a game, it's not your entire life. Get over it. -
Title Update for Reach: Full list of reasonable changes.
SilentCO1 replied to ENP No Trace's topic in Halo Reach
Armor Lock was made to survive explosions and to tip the tide of battle. All abilities have their own special ability, Jet-Pack, a Rocket or FRG is almost useless as it's hard to hit the target directly, especially when they can move around in the air. But I have some suggestions for it. The EMP should stay. It stops players from being stupid enough to stand right next to an Armor Locker. It also can stop incoming vehicles because it shuts them down. It's like the human equivalent for a plasma pistol. But, the EMP should only take out half of a person's shields if it's used on them. This way those people stupid enough to stand near them won't complain. Also, keep the effect it does to a Drop Shield when you go inside of it and go into Armor Lock, it destroys the shield, this should be kept. Recharge time should be longer. It should be the same amount of time as a Drop Shield, and should only be usable when it is fully recharged. Also, make it so it only lasts about 2.5 seconds. That should be more than enough time to survive an incoming rocket, grenade, or vehicle. Also make it so that you have to fully stand up to start attacking after armor lock. This would be a short delay, but the armor locker can be hurt again as soon as the frost goes away, which will be .5 seconds or less before they are fully stood up. This gives you time to do some damage before they start attacking, just so you won't complain. They can still do a turn, but it's slower, and you can actually see them do it, it's not like they suddenly teleport in the same place but are in a different direction. This would be so that they can't get immediately assassinated. If this is implied, and you are still complaining, I have no idea why. It will barely slow gameplay, since it is much shorter, it doesn't give out as strong of an EMP to people (I don't see how that's a problem), and it has to be fully charged to use, and has a longer recharge time. Plus they can't immediately attack you and their turns are slower when they come out. This would make it more "fair", for those who think it isn't. If you think it's cheap now, then why don't you use it? You have the option to, unless it's Invasion. But in Invasion, you have the Banshee and invisibilty and the needler and all that. That makes it even. -
Yeah but this isn't ODST. It's a remake, they come with maps already. It wouldn't make sense to add the other maps in with it. That would just be stupid. If you want to play them, go pay the $20 like everyone else.

Campaign of the Decade? You got that right!
SilentCO1 replied to SilentCO1's topic in Halo CE + Anniversary
They said they added "terminals" that tell us about the Haloverse and may hint at Halo 4. -
It's been thought of a lot. Sure, i would like it. Just if it snows or rains, make it so the ground is snowy or the floor is if there is no roof and make it so that there are puddles if it rains.
-
I like Master Chief's new armor. It's different, but you still know it's him. Adds a twist to the game. MJOLNIR Mark VII armor?
-
Same exact thing lol. I don't know what else, still deciding. Maybe Assassin's Creed. Also getting Mass Effect 3.

The DMR, why it was a bad idea from the start...
SilentCO1 replied to ENP No Trace's topic in Halo Reach
Umadbro? It's a gun. It's not the BR. It's a DMR, it's not supposed to work the same. If you think it sucks, don't use it, end of story. -
The problem is that they would still have to re-code every map in the game. This would take about 9 GB of space. Some people don't have that or don't want to do it because it's just a helmet. So it probably won't happen. Unless it's un-obtainable like the Blue flames. It's on the disc, but we can't get it yet. Not even hackers can because it's hidden somehow.
-
Problem with that is Elites and Spartans were not Allies in this game. They were in Halo 3, so it made sense for them to be able to play on the same team. In Reach, it's before Halo: CE. So they are at war, therefore it would also make no sense to be teamed with an Elite when you are a Spartan. Always think about if it will make sense. It would to fight Brutes, the Flood, or the Forerunners. Brutes still despise us, the Flood could have been locked somewhere and escaped again, and we don't know of the Forerunners relations with us.
