You are completly right on every single thing you said. I expecially like your new added add sprint and evade as just buttons for elites and spartans. I think that would be great! Also I think they should bring back power ups. Im curious, what do you think of loadouts? But each should have the same weapons and grenades not including covenant versions for elites but the point of the load out would be to either to choose sprint or evade. But possibly you can only chose one and the one you pick at the beging of the game is the one you stay with. But SPRINT or EVADE ONLY not the other AA junk like you have hated as well.Unless you think they could mix both togeather in one control. (Mabey holding the walking analog and then the sprint/evade button makes you sprint and quickly slashing the analog to the left, right, or back and hitting the spring/evade button also, will make you evade to the left or right or backwards but sprint can only be activated by puching forward and hitting Sprint/evade and then you can control the sprint in any direction facing forward.This would then take out the reason for loadouts.

Yea, I guess they are pretty busy trying and succeding to make the most kick-ass game ever but I wish they could assign or hire a team to give out info when 343 wanted to. Im still waiting to pre-order untill I hear more about the game.

Oh, I feel like a dumbass, I just wish they would give out more info on the game, Im surprised that after the offical unvailing at E3 that info would be pouring out since the game is coming out in only 3 1/2 months

So you are saying if I downloaded all the DLC for REACH on the REACH DISK the 1 CEA DISK will recognize that and will have all the maps on it or is it vise versa My REACH disk will have the CEA maps on it if I buy CEA and play it?

for playing their past games, bungie gave us name plates, But 343i is a new company and I think they should do something great for their games -in terms of reccognising you buying their games. I think that if you pre-order or buy CEA within the first month you should get the remastered CE Chief armor to use in online and offline multplayer matches I think this would be sweet to have instead of a nameplate. Does anyone like this? If not what other ideas do you guys have? (Note: This is just for fun and I acknowledge that they already have the pre-order exclusives Grunt Funeral and Chief avatar armor I just want to see what other creative ideas people have that they would like to see. Remember this is for fun not neccesarly going to happen (The Game is basicly done).

But we would need to download all 7 maps to reach if we wanted all of the multiplayer maps together, which means ill be spending 12 hours downloading that map pack. And using half of my monthly Data allowence. I hate verizon.

That clears so much up. I always thought your thread was all fact you gathered from videos or updates from microsoft or 343i. I didnt want to bring up your thread because I forgot who exactly said it and i didnt want to falsely accuse someone or directly bash their ideas. But that is a good theroy and would tie in alot. It just doesnt seem like something that would have hooked me in. But good ideas none the less, Ive really enjoyed reading your thread.

I heard in those updates in these forums that HALO 4 is going to be a prequel and that all of the books were going to be tied into the game. I said sweet about the books plan (even though ive only read Fall of Reach and Contact Harvest) I think it will be great for the cannon. But when I heard that the game was going to be a prequel and most were saying the slip closing on Master Chief sent them back in time, I started banging my brains out with my HALO Reach limited edition case. Im not shure if its just me but I think time travel is the dumbest idea for a HALO title It sounds like a complete lazy way to show us what happenson in the universe after the events of the ARK being destroyed. I know their releasing 3 books to tell the story about what happens but that still makes me sad I like to play the story and feel like im part of the story playing it as chief not reading about it. Even though its going to be a prequel it doesnt have to nessesarly mean he went back in time. They said even though it is said it is impossible to dream in cryo-freeze. the books mention some marines saying they have dreamed in it. And possibly the reveal trailer is the end of HALO 4 and durring the whole game you have flashback missions which tie in the books? Personaly id rather see this than time travel. Does anyone else feel this way?

Technicaly it is being remastered not remade, all their adding is terminals and thats all they should add, keep it the way it was.

It is completly balanced. Everyone has a chance to get the Rocket at the same time spite rank or credits, Im trying to say it in the sense that It is balanced because every one has the same ability to get those weapons in each game unlike cod giving the ability to get the most overpowered weapons to the higher ranking players, thats why in my opinion on map weapons is the best way to go, not making custom loadouts for every single game in cod, thats why ive stayed away from the newer COD games online multiplayer. HALOs been a great game in keeping weapons balanced in that sense and thats one of the main reasons ive stayed with HALO.

I like your idea, you have big ideas but they are to big, I dont think any game could really handel that much action going on, HALO in forge is a dollar ammount for a reason it is data wise, There is just to much stuff going on in your idea that I dont think forge could process all of the variations of large moving and interactive objects you are asking for, but they are good ideas just not very practical, Your game sounds alot like HALO Wars.

I cant wait to see pics of the new vehicles that hover hog sounds awsome.

For sprint id say no, It makes no sense that spartans should lose sheilds for sprint, Jet pack, no, it has fuel, not energy, but others like active cammo, hologram, and AL should definently drain shelids. (Just talking about this reminds me of crysis 2)

I like most ideas but I dont think we should have to be able to take any armor off (like others said, it messes with the cannon and would be unrealistic) NO health pack attatchments (not really fair for thoese who arent at a high enough rank to get) I really like Absolute Dog's ideas for completing things for armor, but getting a 25 spree or perfection medals seem extremly high to get mabey 25 kills in a game but mabey getting thoes medals (like perfection and high killing spree medals) would lead to more xp? This could be good, Medals give you an xp bost to help you rank up, I just dont want to feel like im missing out on a really cool peice of armor because of such an outragusly high marker to reach but I really want to see the armor awarded for completing achievments back.

Just courious, you keep active participation in my topic regarding the exact same possible leak, first off asking them is not going to get it, microsoft stated it was fake and to wait for offical announcements (I dont think they are just going to give out information because someone asks. And secondly why make another thread when there is one dont make these forums like bungie and cloud up the fourms with a bunch of duplicate topics.

You aren't one of thoes guys that always camps the sniper spawn and kills team mates to get it I hope.

Ive only done it once but when he snaps out of it you have to hope he is faceing away from you or its only going to get a melee and you are most likely screwed then or you spam a grenades which then makes me feel like the noob. Or if you get the melee and jump back and have a DMR or magnum or other medium range weapon and get a headshot you will be good.

It makes me proud to play halo when someone ALs on sword base so I then jump on top of him and t bag him while hes in AL then right at the last second I rb down and get an assasination on the noob.

Most of the ideas sounded great if they were real but I actually dont want to see the customization of weapons Like you said it would turn into a COD game and thats not what halo is, Halos a fast paced FPS that has equal weapons for all players not a bunch of over powered high ranking people getting the best weapons and leaving thoes at low ranks stuck there because they have to rank up twice as slow be cause of thoses High ranking players getting the stronger weapons which just makes the whole game of COD unbalanced. 343 if you read this please dont go making drastic changes like weapon customization, mabey in campaign but if this turns into another COD, im never going to buy another halo again.

I like your vehicle and custom game ideas but personaly I like Halo's 8 vs 8 max for online I dont want it to turn into a Battlefeild game I think the 8 vs 8 is enough 343 just needs to work on putting the large team games on the larger maps (unlike Bungie putting 4vs 4 on blood gultch Thats crazy! ) 34 vs 34 would be way to much and I think the lag would be outstandingly terrible no matter the servers. I just think the huge style maps wouldnt be halo any more, thats just to much of a drastic change, Mabey if it was in its own playlist but when you say relying on other players to cover your ass thats not going to happen HALO is full of so many young kids and unsporting players to have succesfull full good team battles that you mention.

I was reading around and found this website talking about this possible leak to HALO 4s story line Microsoft confirms the writer of the leak (which was in BNET forums) may have gotten some theroys right but they arent saying much else This was released on the 13th of June and Im surprised no one has talked about it. But heres the link. My link This is most likley a very creative theroy or hoaks but I found it entertaining to read, It would be nice to see others make stories like this (not saying its positive fake) to keep our hopes up and speed the wait for this great game.
