If I wasn't such an avid bumper jumper I'd use the Jetpack, but you know... There are situations where you can't always use a Jetpack so I'd hate to have to sacrifice my control settings just to accommodate one armor ability.
-
This is really scraping at the bottom of the "Halo 4 Complaint" barrel.
-
Overshield>>>>>>Active Camo. At least it isn't like the pick-up where you can run around while invisible.
-
Yeah, I don't like it either but I don't think a nerf is necessary. It is already in the game so it may as well stay.

Only 4 times? You, sir, are either incredibly lucky/amazingly skilled/a liar/don't play enough. Take your pick.

I am and have always been a big fan of E.O.D. Wish they would have kept the shoulders from Halo 4, but whatever. At least the Helmet is wicked. Back when I first started playing though I would use Soldier and Warrior helmets. They always looked the coolest to me. The rest of my armor would shift around these two helmets until I specialized. As far as specialislization armor goes, I would say my favorites are Oporator and Rogue. Operator was my go-to helmet until all my loadouts and armor got magically reset (still don't know how this happened) Ever since then I have been too lazy to switch back from recruit. What armor are you guys using/like?

He treated you like crap? For some reason I am not surprised. Whatever happened to T2 anyway? He was like, on top of the world during Halo 3 with Str8 Rippin and his Dr. Pepper bottles and all that. I have seen him do a few short Halo 4 segments for GameSpot and that was it. Walshy is just cool. He always seemed like a "nerd's nerd", if you will. Brilliant players and great skills though he seems to have gone the way of T2 as in not being as prolific as he was. I never paid too much attention to Ghandi, though I will check him out cuz I am always interested in someone who has a lot of trash talk and can back it up. Lol @ Pistola out BRing Ninja while he was one shot. That clip is infamous now.

I don't think it is called "AGL" settings on the files share. I think they may be known as "Competitive Slayer Chicago", from what I was told.

I always wondered myself after playing some games EVERYONE in the lobby leaves at the same time. It is definitely weird, but I doubt bots are to blame. Unfortunately I don't have the knowledge to say what the cause is exactly, but I know exactly what you are talking about.

Just jump in a mantis on Ragnorak and camp at your base. That is how I got my one and only perfection.

I have played Griffball with people that betray intentionally, like they are the only ones allowed to get kills. They are like, "So you're gonna try and hammer people, eh? Not on my watch!!!" It is the reason I stopped playing the gametype. One time I played Infinity Slayer on Complex and went for the sniper. Dude on my team plowed me with the ghost and took it off my corpse. smh.

So I signed up for the Xbox live rewards program not too long ago thinking it could benefit me one day. So today I randomly decide to check my e-mail an find I got a message from XBL regarding my birthday this month and guess what I got? A whopping 20 microsoft points!!! Yay... So, anyone got ideas of what I can spend it on? Suggestions, ideas?

Everyone has covered the loadouts really well so I won't be redundant. I will say though if you don't already have one, you should work on developing a decent strafe. This will help you when you need to dodge bullets and will actually give you some split second victories. Delpen9 has a very good topic about it in the Halo 4 MLG section called "Strafe 2 Live". It lays out the basics. However, if you are not a good strafer it might just benefit you to just work on keeping your aim steady.

Everyone likes the "tryhard" loadout. Battle Rifle Magnum Frags Thruster Pack Resupply Dexterity Comments: All around good class made to play like an instant classic. Thruster pack is good for dodging would-be nade+1shotters, BoltShots, and jumping in the air and assassinating people that are trying to get you from behind. Dexterity can be swapped for explosives. Results vary. This class will win you some Regicide but people WILL send you some hate. Surpressor BoltShot Plasma Grenade Camo Mobility/AA Efficiency Stealth Comments: I am trying to work out if AA Efficiency is better or Mobility. I just made this class today so it is new to me. I think Mobility is better for Regi because you will want to be mobile if you are the King, but AA Efficiency will help you stay invisible longer in infinity Slayer. Best used or close range, but that goes without saying for any class with a Surpressor. This next class has a special place in my heart because it represents everything A LOT of people hate about Halo 4 DMR BoltShot Frags Promethean Vision Resupply Dexterity/Explosives Comments: This class takes a lot of guess work out of the game. If you let it it will actually do a lot of the work for you. In fact I find it hard to not do good with this class which is why I generally opt for the aforementioned "tryhard" class to keep my skills sharp so when I do switch to this class I play like a beast. The perpetual debate exists here between explosives an dexterity. I put Dexterity first because I like to reload faster with my guns and it really helps getting that BoltShot out and switching out for the DMR real quick. However, don't ever underestimate the power of explosives. It will rock people that don't realize you have it. If you haven't noticed I don't have Jetpacks on these classes because I'm on Bumper Jumper. So my playstyle is skewed to fit my control layout.

What would you do to work with RoosterTeeth??
FleshBack replied to Left4NewVegas's topic in General Discussion
I would eat a Klondike Bar. -
In what, Halo 4? What are the conditions? Map, loadouts, etc?
-
Where did you ski at? Looks like fun. I like to snowboard off of baby hills because Illinois sucks as far as good geography is concerned. I mean we got that monster lake, but it is really fishy.

Am I the o ly one who sees 117 everywhere?

I like numerology and I tend to take it seriously. That is my prerogative, however. I know I am a life-path number 4, so I tend to be on the lookout for that number in things. I could be misinterpreting it, however. I am not that well-read in the subject but I happen to find it fascinating along with stuff like Quantum Mechanics, Dreams, Parallel Universes, Meditation, Vibrations and Frequencies, Consciousness, Time ad Space, Perception, etc... -
I live in Chicago and the local news is absolutely depressing. Hearing gunshots is not uncommon in the dead of night or even broad daylight. I personally think guns just shouldn't exist, but people will argue that we need them for self-defense against animals and other people. I would contend that society would be better if we were a weaponless one. Not just guns, but things like nukes, computer viruses, biolgical weapons, etc... However, people will just argue that is just a "pie in the sky" and unrealistic because it is against human nature. To that last argument I would say human nature has been corrupted, this is evident. Living here has taught me that, but just giving up on people like that seems like taking the cheap way out. I believe there is something better for us than simply gunning each other down or raining napalm on our enemies. I believe there is basic good in people that shines through the rough exteriors. Unfortunately our current circumstances makes us victims of our own doing. Call me a stupid idealist, but that is how I feel. If people would just surrender and yield to one another out of mutual respect it would go a long way. Gun control isn't about politics. It us more about self-control. People lack the self-control to just live on a day-to-day basis in harmony rather than conflict. With over 7 Billion people in the world I realize this is easier said than done. Doing the right thing is never the "easier" option. You have to swallow your pride and your ego. But it is never too late for a change. I think if people lived more like that there would be less homicides. Call it unrealistic if you like but you know that is how it ought to be. That is why it is ideal-istic. So where does all that fit within the scope of this topic? Simple, eliminate guns and eliminate the need for gun control in the first place. Simpler than everyone thought, ain't it? That is my stance and I won't argue it. Nah, I won't sell out like that though. In the real world where guns continue to be manufactured and distrubuted, there is no good way to control them. Bad guys will always get their guns and good people will always die. It is a sad and unfortunate fact. Even if you flat out abolished the 2nd Ammendment it would not stop violent crimes and illegal activities from occurring. Guns are just a symptom of a larger issue and that issue is a sick society. Not giving Crazy-Steve access to a gun doesn't get rid of Crazy-Steve. Nor does it stop Drug Dealer Mike from strangling the guy that just ripped him off $1,200 in cocaine. If you feel having stricter gun laws will make you safer than you are mistaken.

I was talking to a friend at lunch and he brought up this cool game called "Halo". I asked, "What is Halo?". He was like, "Halo 2 is coming out soon and you haven't even played Halo?!" At that point I realized I was missing out on something so the next time I popped into a GameStop I bought the game and fell in love immediately. And that was before I touched the multiplayer. My brother and my cousins would get together and we would spend many hours killing each other for no reason on Blood Gulch. When we weren't doing that it was Rockets on Hang 'Em High. Beautiful experience.

Yes, I will be rooting for you at the next event. On a side note I wish I would have made this, "Who is your favorite pro" rather than "which one do you think has more skill". Oh well, I made my bed time to sleep in it. *rolls over with blanket*

What does pro-CoD even look like? Is everyone spinning around no scoping people? Haha, I kid. But seriously I would have a much harder time beig enthralled by championship BLOPS than Halo.

Star Wars: Battlefront III (Wishful Thinking)
FleshBack replied to FleshBack's topic in General Discussion
"I'm taking you down plastic boy!" I liked how the Droids would always say "Roger, Roger" after every sentence. I was always a big fan of giving orders to my underlings and rolling around with a crew. THAT was awesome. What was your favorite class go play as guys? I have always valued mobility, so I would generally use Infantry. But my favorite class bar none was the Jet Trooper. He was always the epitome of cool in that game. -
Caboose is British, mang. Don't know if anyone here is ESL.
