  1. This brings me to another topic. Has anyone ever seen anybody you KNOW is hiding because they got a perfection?
  2. Really, people do MLG customs? I figured everyone was waiting around for this playlist to come around. I better find me one. I know I won't be winning but the chance to play against really good slayers is just too alluring to pass up. It is like I am feeling the call, you know?
  3. I have been looking through YouTube videos of some pros playing through Halo 2 like Walshy and have found myself thoroughly impressed with his skill, among others. When I see some gameplay and montages from pros in Halo 4 it doesn't look as spectacular. So who comes to to your mind when you think of very highly skilled players? It doesn't have to be restricted to a particular game. If you could name some really good Halo 4 players though that are very prolific on YouTube, it would be nice.
  4. These are good tips and they are great for those who don't know, but I feel like they are very... uh... natural to stumble upon yourself. Like, on the rare occasion I use a Jetpack and I see a Gravlift/Mancannon, it is almost an intuitive response to use the pack to maximize airtime. I was under the impression that you'd be sharing juicy secrets.
  5. Halo could really use a Heavy bomber... Like a tank but in the air.
  6. For the best fashion advice for your Spartan I'd recommend Tiffany's Boutique. I hear it has all this season's latest fashion trends and the sales associates will do their best to make your armor-clad warrior the hottest thing this side of Requiem.
  7. You have your reasons and I have mine. I won't sit here and argue about it like others, you know what I mean? I do agree with you that a secondary shouldn't be able to trump a primary weapon like that but whatever. 343 gives you lemons you make BoltShotenade. In my defense ARs and Surpressors are totally viable out of the BoltShot's range. I find it stupid that these people will just bumrush you unecessarily even if it means getting yourself into a dangerous zone of confrontation. They just throw caution into the wind and put themselves into a high-risk situation unecessarily. Stupidity like that needs to be punished, at least to make them smarter, more aware players next time around. It's like on Adrift when you are on the bottom center and someone flies from the top with an Assualt Rifle. You know they could have just stayed up top and gunned you down, but it plays out more like, "Assault Rifle rusher meet BoltShot. Oh noes he died... Again. won't they ever learn?! OH THE INHUMANITY!!!"
  8. They should just remove Aim assist entirely. Then only the most skilled could play this game. Besides, they don't need help from the game anyway, hence them being called "skilled" in the first place. That oughta teach those infernal noobs to stay out of Halo. It isn't like we need their population numbers anyway....
  9. As long as there are overzealous, trigger-happy, point 'n spray, AR/Surpressor bumrushers online, I will always carry a BoltShot to punish these people. I don't camp around the corner with it all sneaky like with camo, nor do I run around using ONLY the BS. I use it as a defensive pivot against people of this playstyle I just described. I'm not saying my way is more legitimate than others, I am just saying my reasons for using it are probably totally different. If you are going to spray and chase down everything that moves in a game where you KNOW people pack mini-shotguns on the regular, then I am sorry but you totally deserve to be BoltShotted in the face. For every other situation I use the BR and the DMR on larger maps. If someone comes around the corner to kill me, odds are they won't get a BoltShot. I would just Nade and one shot them in the head.
  10. Delpen9, I see a lot if parallels between you and this topic and me and the topics I have been making, which are aimed at gathering info from players to improve your own skill. I am quite committed to the art of improvement and while I have gotten much better than when I started, I recognize that I still have much more room for improvement. So I ask you Delpen, what do you think was the biggest factor in your improvement as a player as far as staying alive and killing ability? What do you feel really made you an above average player?
  11. It will happen to all of us sooner or later when we hit SR130, which, BTW, is fairly easy to get to as long as you play consistently.
  12. Buy some Dew and Doritos and play Spartan Ops if you want exp so bad. You can get up to 17,000 a game. Possibly even more.
  13. At the very least it breaks up the monotony of the maps we have been playing. Also, I am glad to be able to play Relay onlone now.
  14. I hate those guys. And then when I see somebody come up and beat down the **** out of them after they assassinate me I am like, "they probably wouldn't have died if they didn't go for the assassination and just beat me down.
  15. This medal has been very elusive to me. I think it may be because I don't do too much objective and BTB kind of stuff, but if that is what it takes I will go to the playlists to just try and get this at least once. If anyone has gotten this medal, particular more than once your advice would be appreciated.
  16. You were all in the wrong for being stubborn and hard-headed. You know people online can be jerks, the fact that you allowed the situation to escalate as it did is the fault Of all three of you. There were many different ways that situation could have played out peacefully but that wasn't one of them. And no, just because they are buddies doesn't give them first dibs on the Hog, but that doesn't mean you should aggrevate players that were obviously irrational.
  17. Good video. I kne my Spartan was making unnatural noises.
  18. I doubt it is the TV because we are running HD on our Vizios. Internet connection could be the issue though. Like I said though, most maps work fine aside from Big ones likenshattwr and forge maps I have downloaded like the Guardian remake.
  19. How do you guys get body shots of your Spartans? Cool unicorn btw. did you get that buy getting the Halo Xbox or by getting a code?
  20. You get specializations unlocked at level 50. After that, every 10 levels afterwards is another specialization.

    LOOOOOL

How long does the xp ban last?
  22. That is my point. I play FFA however I see fit because I am the only one that suffers the consequences (like a low win percentage). If in want to make practice out of it, so be it. I don't play team based games that way because I understand that other people have efferent goals than I do and I wouldn't want to compromise my teammates win percentages, just so I can screw around.
  23. No, you missed my meaning. There is no consequences for winning or losing in Regicide other than more or less exp. Also, it affects your Halotracker stats, but that is irrelevant to me I already know my win percentile is under 15% in Regi. All Regicide amounts to me is matchmaking practice. So when I play a gametype such as team slayer Where winning matters slightly more ( on account of not wanting to disappoint people on your team), I can perform optimally as an efficient slayer. I'll admit I phrased my initial post wrong. What I should have said was: "I don't care about winning or losing in Regicide which is my main playlist."
  24. I find the noise the plasma pistol's charge shot to be more noticeable than the BoltShot. In fact the second I hear it I am running for cover cuz there is no way I am letting someone PP+1 shotting me.
  25. The specialization perks suck in general anyway and only fulfill niche roles. You are better off with your basic packages save for maybe Stability and Wheelman.
