In no particular order... Halo CE, 2, 3, and 4 Mortal Kombat Trilogy Fallout 3 Robotech: Battlecry Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 Pokemon Gold/Silver Burnout 3 and Paradise Mario Kart: Double Dash Metroid Prime 1 and 2 Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Need For Speed: Most Wanted (not the new one, haven't played it) Yeah, it is a little more than 10 but I didn't want multiple entries wasted on the same franchise.

This happens notoriously on Haven Regicide and Abandoned to a less extreme extent. It can make the road to the king quite treacherous.

You have awesome friends.

I am partial to Adrift myself. It offers a little bit to everyone. Narrow hallway action, open corners with man cannons, and multi-level center, and it is not a bad map for SWAT.

I'd like to go to a skill based ranking system because I want to feel like I earned/worked my butt off for the armor/emblems/skins I unlocked. Everything is so easily obtainable in this game there is no feeling of exclusivity to the rewards you obtain when all collecting xp amounts to is having a pulse. Things are Cool when only a few have them. That is what makes them appealing and keeps players playing.

Surely, we are scraping at the bottom of the "Halo 4 complaints" barrel now.
-
A good amount of players (myself included) are more than happy to play without radar. I hate looking at that thing.
-
I think there is nothing we can do about it short of cross your fingers for blue.
-
That's because all the customization went into making a laundry list of armor so huge it is actually annoying to do simple tasks such as check a new helmet to get rid of the stars or changing a shoulder piece.

He was the only one with a Mic. They weren't in a position to say anything!

I was I a lobby yesterday where we beat this group pretty bad. In the post game lobby when it ended, one dude on their team was like, "OMG, 3-23?! You guys are garbage!" And he left the lobby. I couldn't help but laugh at the time just cuz it was funny how he said it. On the other hand, I sympathized with him because I've been in his position before.

Regicide on Haven is a gauntlet due to the instant spawns. Though it can definitely be abused. I played a game on Abandon where this guy kept spawning close to me near the open part of the map. He was using a DMR and I had an assault rifle. I would just spray him and then crouch shot him at the end which caused him to miss the last couple of shots since he obviously kept his cursor on the same axis. Got like 12 kills off him alone. I was wondering if he would catch on to it but he never did.

I would love to but unfortunately it is one of the more competitive guns out there and getting good with it is probably a good idea. Not unless you have a different gun to suggest? Really I'm open to ideas. 2 sensitivity has definitely helped. I will probably stick with it until I am comfortable enough to go to 3.

Mantis is definitely not OP but they are unecessary. When I first saw that thing I was like, "who's idea was it to cross a hornet from Halo 3 with an AT-ST". I feel like they just take up the role Wraiths and Scorpions used to occupy for no particularly good reason.

This maybe a bit of a stretch of the imagination, but I always figured weapons were made with less recoil and more precision in Halo because the developers were taking into account it was a Spartan super-soldier using the weapon and not some random marine. Of course they would have more strength and control. But like I said, that is probably stretching it.

I have come across at least 15 different 130s, and only two of them were what I would label as "highly skilled".

Whether the level cap is SR130 or SR1,000 people will still find a way to boost through the ranks without truly testing their skill.

So I just got done doing some Regicide. I played with this SR130 with a KD that was +10,000. So we play the match and this guy takes 5th place. Afterword, I send him a message like, "you how you get your KD so high?". He sends me a message 2 minutes later saying he farms kills on CTF with some buddies. The system is broken, my friends.

I've been wondering why I have been rushed with assault rifles all day by everyone and their mother.
-
I'd play FFA all over Regi all day everyday but I wouldn't mind them being separate playlists side-by-side. No reason we can't have our cake and eat it too.
-
If you don't mind me asking, what is the rush? Only a few of the armor mods are competitively viable anyway. Unless you're trying to amass a huge armor collection, I see no reason to be SR130.

Yeah, that may help me. I have noticed my aim is extremley jerky in BR/DMR battles. I have been attributing the issue to my sensitivity and have been switching back and forth between 4-7. It could be tension in my hands like you pointed out. Never would have thought if that. Also, I have no qualms with getting my butt kicked from one end of Ragnarok and back if that is what it takes to improve as a player. It happens regular anyway so it may as well serve a constructive purpose.

Leveling is ridiculously easy in in this game. Pioneer in my mind is a waste of a specialization.

Lately in my matchmaking experience I've been getting frustrated with my playing. I feel as if I hit a "wall" of sorts and I am not seeing any improvement in my playstlyle. I understand that I am not going to be a pro at a video game that has only been out a couple of months, however I feel that there is something I'm missing here that no amount of armor abilities, loadout options, or controller settings can fix. For instance, I seem to not be able to win a single DMR battle I've been in lately. I was doing decent for a while but now I have hit a downright slump. I don't know if it is the skill of the players I'm facing increasing or if it is just me being an epic fail. I tend to find myself hopping around firing off a whole clip and not hitting anything (particularly if I am on Bumper Jumper) or just getting outsmarted by Quick reacting opponents with grenades and jet packs. That is not the only issue but it illustrates one of my many frustrations with this game as of late. I've got quite a few games under my belt and I am beginning to think that you must need some natural godsend ability to play this game at a high level. I am beginning to think that practice, at least in this case, does not make perfect. However, I am hoping to be proved wrong by someone here. I understand there are a fair amount of highly skilled and competitive players on here and I am very interested in your thoughts on the subject. Ranks, experience, and loadouts do not interest me because I understand they are all irrelevant in terms of improving as a player of Halo and a gamer in general. I'm a serious person and a perfectionist at heart, but just can't see myself playing this game at my current skill level. It is unsatisfactory to me and my teammates as well in those gametypes. I'm quite tired of making the same mistakes in the heat of battle over and over again and the solutions just are not as obvious to me as they may be to some other players (maybe I''m slow or somethin'). I'd really like to know anyone's thoughts on this. Either suggestions, criticisms, personal anecdotes, or if anyone feels that they are in a similar boat, cuz I would like to play with like minded people whom are genuinely interested in breaking past the wall and learning to play at a higher level. If you consider yourself to be a good player, I would like to know how you approach the game or a proper mindset because obviously mine is wrong. I'm a big boy and I can take some criticism too so feel free to lay out whatever you have for me.

Well that's the problem in the first place dude. The ranking system doesn't currently reflect skill level, which is why matchmaking is a joke. People should be be able to be matched with people that are within their level of ability so they can experience consistent gameplay. Ranks should reflect skill, not exp--bottom line.
