I believe that. Heck, I would much rather go to a CE LAN party than a Halo 4 one. My friends and I still play Halo 2 on our original XBox as if the thing never got old. Things like that make me think it isn't Halo that is dying, but just this particular game.

That is a generalization. That is like me saying a lot of casuals are just incompotent noobs that use assault rifles and run around shooting in the air. They spoil the game for those of us that want to play competitively.

At this point, I think a better question would be Ressuply Vs. Mobility. I tend to favor Ressuply nowadays though. I made this topic when I wasn't on Bumper Jumper and was using the Jet pack, so mobility was useful.

I got so mad yesterday. I was playing on Monolith (FFA) and got behind this guy with a damage boost and started assassinating him. This schmuck comes uo from behind me and beats me down, sparing the other guy's life. I don't respawn right away so I could see what happens and the guy with the damage boost turns around and wastes him... What is wrong with people? He could have just stole my kill and just killed me.

I couldn't recommend anything lower than 3 for actual Slayer. When you are in a BR/DMR battle, you need a slightly higher sensitivity to keep your crosshair on the target for the entirety of the battle. Whether he is bouncing around, strafing, or whatever. It takes focus and precision to be a good shot.

Tactically defending a position is a euphemism for camping.

Destroyaa, at least you can say you have played a lot of pros. I have seen your list in the "other" MLG section and it is quite impressive. Like I said, I hope that we have our own group of pros that play matchmaking in 4 (not Ninja, I can't stand him for some reason). Maybe as time goes on Halo 4 will have its own new list of established pros. Dinosaur, I am sure if he won he did deserve it. He is a national champion on a Legendary Halo team. He has put the time in, even if it wasn't in this game. Though if it had to go to a pro, I would have rather it gone to Walshy or Ghostayme or something. I have never been a big fan of Strogside.

I talk smack, if that counts. I don't play too much teams, I like Regi.

Is this just a glorified complaint thread? I don't seem to understand the purpose of this topic cuz people post their own topics when they want to complain about things anyway and people here aren't in a position to fix most of these issues anyway, but whatever. Oh, and my issue... Some of these achievements are just ridiculous. "Kill 2 people with a pulse grenade" (I might have read that wrong) Geeze, that thing is a means to an end, not an end in itself.

I think they know they messed up, but I also think some big wig up their thinks they have all the answers and is trying to fix it their way. You can sway people with your ideas in the community, but good luck with getting them implemented. And I don't mean that to be condescending, as I said that you have great ideas. I think if 343 seen their population numbers drop anymore than they already have, then it might be a bit of a wake up call. People playing this game is giving them the false sense that the community is content with their product. That shouldn't be the message we send at all. It should be, "Hey 343, I want better. Stop sitting on your thumbs and patting yourselves on the back cuz you made 3 maps and nerf'd the BoltShot". You get where I am coming from?

I have read this and they are all great ideas, but that is all they are at the end of the day. I tend not to respond to these kinds of threads because 343 has obviously decided to go "rogue" with their vision of Halo and there is not much the average fan can do about it.

Power weapons are too abundant. That is my only complaint. Landfall gets a Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, SAW, Concussion Rifle and people are getting Beam Rifles and Binary Rifles and MORE shotguns in their ordinances. I'd almost kill to run into someone with a BoltShot, that is how ridiculous it is.

I "heard" the pop. peaked the other day at 42,000. If anyone can confirm that it would be great. But either way that is a low peak. Halo just isn't the game it was in 2007 anymore. I believe 343 at least sees this and is trying everything to get it back to life like a surgeon trying to stop his patient from flatlining. The weekly playlist updates and map pack releases and updates are testament to this. If that doesn't scream desperation, I don't know what does. To tell you the truth, I think that if 343 had done everything right it still would not have made much more of a difference. Look at the team throwdown playlist. Granted, it has its flaws but that was supposed to be "THE premier playlist to get your 50 in". I don't ever see that playlist get too far past 4K. This game was a flop, plain and simple. The only thing it managed to do like I said was make money and pray on the misguided hopes of the franchise's dedicated fanbase with the thought, "maybe the next one will be better". That is dissapointing, to say the least, that this sentiment is all most people really have. And here is another thought. It is cold outside in a lot of places cuz of winter, so a lot of people are staying inside and playing video games. People are inside and the population is still this low? Wait until summer rolls around and people can do other things and more games people are anticipating get released. You will notice a difference. You'll probably notice a lot more kids online cuz of school being out.

You haven't see many people using active camo cuz they are using active camo.

I don't understand why everyone plays on 10. No wonder you miss shots. You need to be able to keep your crosshair the entirety of a 5shot, which takes a lot of concentration even on lower sensitivities. I HIGHLY recommend you go down to a 4 if you are going to continue to use the DMR. I feel like your problems are stemming from you missing shots.

I teabag and trash talk all the time. That is one of the sole reasons I love Regicide so much. People use mics and to me there is no point in having a mic in FFA unless you are going to trash talk. I haven't used the BoltShots in my loadouts in a long time but if I see one on the ground I will pick it up. I will admit though that making people rage IS fun. I guess when I typed that previous post up I was just thinking of the PV+BS combo. Lol, I have had such great trash talking wars with people I should be making YouTube videos. And it is sooooooooo satisfying when you trash talk in win. Believe it or not I don't get muted or get negative feedback very often if ever because I am quite funny when I do. I either hear a lot of laughing or rage when I am talking trash and both are disruptive to people. I have had people that were not using mics actually put on their mic in the middle of my rant just to tell me off. I could tell I had gotten to them. And to me it is all in good fun.... at their expense, of course.

Wow, that is really cool you came in 3rd. Coming under Elamite is no small feat either. Seeing that makes me wish this game has some rankings and competitive support from 343. *sigh* I missed out.

Truck, you mean. Normally I don't correct trivial things like that, but there is a big difference between a Jeep and a Ford F-150 UNSC Truck. What did you beat him in? Halo 3 playlist? That sounds pretty cool.

Oh, it is a very good map pack. Totally makes crimson look like... Well, you know. If you play Halo and don't do too much BTB and like smaller maps than I definitely recommend this map pack. It is SO refreshing to play something other than Adrift, Haven, and Abandon. The only thing I don't like is that there is personal ordinance in FFA. Between that and the weapons on the map, almost everyone is walking around with some kind of power weapon.

Have you guys tried FFA Monolith? All it is is people chasing each other around the map. It actually plays a lot like a classic cartoon. I have been in chase chains consisting of at least 3-4 separate players. Everyone trying to chase the guy that is chasing another guy. It just becomes downright comical once the Rocket Launcher spawns in the middle. It is absolute mayhem. Your thoughts?

The maps still come up in rotation if everyone has them in normal playlists.

I am always looking to get better at this game and I feel having someone to practice with might do me (and you) some good. I don't care if you are really good and would stomp me, in fact I woul prefer that because I like the challenge. If you are bad, I am not judgmental so feel free to play with me anyway. I'd prefer to do just BRs, but if you really like the DMR or something else that would be cool too. Send me a friend request and I will accept. If we are both on at the same time I will set up a game for us, but I play very sporadically so no telling when that can be. BTW, my username is the same as my GT. Also, no mic required. But I may use one.
