  1. Meh, I think I'll pass on buying this as I was got pretty bored of Crysis 2's multiplayer. The Campaign was pretty epic though. But hey, you can't go wrong with a free beta!
  2. I've been making huge progress on my second map, "Township Terror". I thought I was done, but I've managed to gain $600 in budget by removing 2 things my friend put in haha... Making the map look and play a lot nicer! :)

  4. Looks awesome! I'll have to give this a download sometime.
  5. Made HUGE progress on my upcoming map!... And I still have like 3,000 still in the budget left to use! :D

      What about Dynamic lighting?

A little late of a response... But yeah, I had Dynamic Lighting in mind at the time. The map is 100% finished now. (Well since like the starting of February xD)

  6. Thanks! If you're interested in trying it out, it's available for download on my Fileshare. Just add me and view my gamer card and you can access my Fileshare from there. My GamerTag: Faulkzor
  7. Awesome. Tell me what you think! Congratulations on "Airliner 007" being featured on Halo4Follower, as well as on other channels by the way!
  8. Because I... Hm... I'm so... Uh... I'm a loser and have a passion for video games. Can't explain it, but I love everything about video games.
  9. Spartan Ops Ep: 6 looks fantastic!... And I made a ton of progress on my upcoming map. :)

  10. Thanks to everyone who participated in playing Slaughter Subway! :) I'll be hosting in the future, due to exam studying and such... Hopefully next time I'm hosting, I'll have my second map done! :) Until then, keep playing Halo 4! (If you're not, I'll find you...)

Slaughter Subway.. sounds.. Subby... Nah jk, sounds pretty neat o_o

  11. Thanks for your feedback everyone on "Slaughter Subway". I'm glad you guys are liking it! :) I'm happy to say that my friend and I are currently in the works of creating our second map, and I will make a topic for that when it is done. Thanks again for the feedback. See ya! :)

  12. Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed it. My friend and I are trying to get as many maps out there as we can (before the File Browser is 100% functional and ges over whelmed with "Download to get instant SR130 rank!!1!1!1!" maps...), while putting fourth effort to make each map have a unique type of play style, and still make you jump. We're currently in the works of our second map and will hopefully be able to play test it as soon as possible. With exams coming up, that probably won't be for a while though... Thanks for the feedback and I hope you will be just as impressed with our second map.
  13. The "glow" occurs when there is too much on your map and the lighting engine can not handle it. The objects that use up the most lighting are any object under the "Impact" category. Click to learn about ways to avoid breaking the lighting. It's the video I used to learn about it.
  14. "Slaughter Subway" is now officially done. After tons of tweaks, I'm finally happy with the final product. Now available for download. :) GT: Faulkzor

  15. Although I've been apart of this forum for only a couple of days, I've been apart of another forum for almost 2 years now and I'm glad to see that topics like this are being made. Wish someone made something like this on the other forum but whatever. Thanks for posting this.
  16. Well, I could snag some quick ones with my iPhone... Sad thing is, I have had a HD PVR for over a year now and haven't used it once. I'm so damn lazy.
  17. The next Halo 4 DLC... 343i, I can test it early if you'd like. :D

  18. I'm into Halo, CoD and any game that Rockstar puts out (Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3 etc). I've heard (and seen) awesome things about the map editor which is awesome, but I want to play it with people. My friend has it and says there's only a bit over 1,000 people playing online. I'm happy with Halo 4's forge.
  19. I didn't like Halo 4's Forge at the start, but once my friend and I started forging more and more, we started to learn little tricks ourselves on how everything worked, and came out with a pretty great map. The only thing that bugs me is that you can literally break the lighting engine if too many objects are placed on the map (especially "Impact" items). There is already a budget to work around, so why make us work around a lighting engine? Anyway, back on topic. I do agree with you. More blocks/items would be wonderful. I've noticed that in Halo: Reach & Halo 4, Bungie/343i has given us a couple of main maps to forge on, with tons of items. Then the rest of the maps have nothing to use. I'd like to see some creations on maps other than Impact and Erosion. I think 343i is doing a wonderful job with dynamic lighting and all, but we need more.
  20. Sounds good. I've have. I've also sent it to ducain23 & Halo4Follower. Hopefully at least 1 approves.
  21. Back in the good ol' days of Halo 3 (2007-2010), I used to be a Forge machine. I'd make tons of maps that were eye candy, and played amazingly. I'd get full lobbies of 16 people regularly. It was a blast. Did I mention I had over 10,000 custom games played? Well, now I have. In 2010, Bungie released Halo: Reach. Custom games weren't as spectacular to me as they were in Halo 3... I had played just over 100 custom games... Not nearly as much... Then a new god was born Halo 4 came out... Oh Halo 4, how I love you so. With Bungie passing the torch on to 343 Industries, a new mindset was born. (Yes, I know some of 343i's employees were former employees of Bungie)... Dynamic ("(of a process or system) Characterized by constant change, activity, or progress") lighting was introduced, allowing players to create some spectacular maps with nice lighting. We've taken advantage of this. >:] Our goal was to make a map that would keep player's on edge at all times, while making a creepy environment. With dynamic lighting (thank you 343i!), this was a simple task to accomplish. Though I had to work around the ($10,000) budget on "Impact", and not break the lighting (if you put down too many objects, the dynamic lighting literally shuts down and the whole map glows white...), my goal was accomplished and 'Slaughter Subway' was born! We've torn through multiple versions of the map and have play-tested it with randoms online, and now feel happy with the finished product. So I thought I'd come to my favorite forum and see if anyone would like to try it out for themselves? My GamerTag: Faulkzor Friend's GamerTag: XavierTheLazier Just shoot me a friend request and send me a message like "Slaughter Subway Request" so I'll remember why you added me, and I'll invite you next time I play the map. It's currently 2:31 AM and I haven't slept yet... So that's all for now. I may add pictures of the map lat*zzzzzzzzzz*
