A new life.

They've been remaking the series since Fire Red/Leaf Green like 10 years ago. Got this a couple days ago, almost beat it, just been playing 3 games so it's hard to clean run this in <20 hours lol. After beating it, I'm transferring my unlevelled IV/EV team over, screw restarting that painful process.

Assuming both parties have an equal down and up speed, for sake of simplicity, the person who's closest to the server will suffer less lag. This applies to any party at any point on the planet.

If you're getting it for campaign? By all means go for it. Getting it for Multiplayer? Don't even bother until Christmas. Getting for both? Christmas is your solution.

It's constantly resetting almost everyone. No point in even paying attention to your rank until they patch the game.

For me, Halo Reach is my second favourite Halo game. It introduced so many good aspects to the series, but has serious flaws. Very good things of the game could be said as; Firefight was a let down in comparison to Halo 3 ODST, it was a lot easier and you didn't fell like you were actually trying to survive. It is somewhat easy to beginners, a lot more so than previous titles. The armour customisation was brilliant, by far the best out of the series. But very hard to obtain. Forge World was one of the best inclusions into any of the Halo games, it's limitations were just unimaginable at the time. The music was at the highest standard for Marty O'Donnell Armour abilities can be seen as evolving the game into the next stage of its life, depends on view point. However, it the game has some serious flaws; The ranking system was by far the worst out of all the Halo games, Halo ranks should not be determined by exp or credits, but by actual skill involved. I know many Inheritors (highest level) who would get absolutely trashed over by a Warrant Officer. The servers were rubbish, you were lucky to not get a black screen of host connection every two or three games. The amount of time I've spent waiting for the game to resume is probably half a day in total. The story completely destroyed pre-established canon that was in the books and Halo CE. It was too short and rushed, not giving any time to explain what the hell was going on, many plot holes existed in it also. Maps were just recycled straight from the campaign, no effort was done to create any original content, the original maps were done as DLC by 3rd party team Certain Affinity in collaboration with 343industries later on. Armour abilities can also be seen has diving too far out in the deep for the Halo series, something that didn't belong. So from those negatives, you can understand why people hated Halo Reach. From the different aspects of opinion, different people have different tastes in games, and Halo Reach may or may not have been one of them.

I think you've missed out on a lot of details regarding Agent Locke. 343i have talked about him a lot, including the actor who plays him in Halo Nightfall, Agent Locke is an ONI officer who changed from man to machine over the course of the 5 episode live action series, he makes his first ingame appearance in the Halo 2 Anniversary Prologue and Epilogue cutscenes which tie directly into Halo 5 Guardians. Spartan Locke at that point is tasked with finding out why the Master Chief has gone off on his own accord, and to bring him back for the UNSC. The Elite that was shown the hologram was the infamous Arbiter, who is in his diplomatic armour suit, seen during the events of Halo Escalation comic series. It must be also noted that Spartan Locke commands a unidentified Spartan Fireteam, which are seen in the background of the two cutscenes. 343i have said, while we may know who and what he is pre-Halo game, the events of Halo Nightfall forge him into what he ultimately becomes, which we don't know.

This is being worked on by 343i, no eta on when that's fixed. That could be connection issues, I'm having fine registration myself. Against that will be fixed by 343i and MS. Have all players quit the game and rejoin, that should fix the issue. The weapons on the map are the same as what the originals had. That's not an issue. This is a big thing that 343i are trying to fix, I myself had a game when it was a 1v4, wasn't fun. Hopefully that answers some questions.

Ur-Didact and Chakas (ancient human) used Reverse Timelock on The Primordial which aged it by millions of years, which saw it crumble as it decayed away.
