  1. Super Mario World on the SNES Sure it was remade for the GBA, but it really needs a remake for an HD console/platform. I don't really enjoy remakes, but for such a legendary and innovative game such as this one, I'd absolutely love to see a perfect remake of this game. Gameplay could remain the same, I don't really care about that being changed for a 'new experience' because it's perfect as it is, but the graphics being updated would make it an absolute beast of a game and remind people of what Nintendo did genuinely right in their golden age.
  2. Did you know Spock actually had 3 ears? The left ear, the right ear, and the final front ear.

  4. Halo 2's enemy AI are not good, the only thing that makes them formidable is their toughness with shielding and the variety of weapons they possess. Take those weapons and strength away and they become AI like every other Halo game.
  5. The triple core element to Halo still exists in Halo 4. Shoot/melee/grenade is still remains very much an integral component of the game, the melee system works fine. One hit to take down shields and another to kill the opponent on normal unaltered shields. Comparing to Halo 3, it's practically the same since sword blocking is gone. Halo has always been known to have awful AI, and Halo 3 was no exception. I could easily predict exactly what each enemy would do next after playing for so long. Saying that they are 'smart' compared to Halo 4's programmed AI is nonsense. In fact, Halo 4 has much better AI, friendly and enemy. With the DLC Halo 4 has, the maps are good in variation. Many large, many small and many medium sized maps for a variety of gametypes. At the start without DLC there weren't too many medium maps, it was just basically big and small. Saying there were no small is nonsense also. Btw, Halo 4 has a remake of The Pit. Halo 3's controls were atrocious, they were extremely clunky and weren't that responsive to what a Spartan Super Soldier should be like. Halo Reach corrected that a lot, and Halo 4 took that even further beyond. The controls are smooth and accurate. I usually play on sensitivity of 2-3 on all Halo games, and I can absolutely say with full confidence that Halo 4 crushes Halo 3's control system, with ease. I don't want a boringly slow game either, Halo 4 made it that you were actually a super soldier, fast and ruthless. Halo 3 made you out to be a joke, you weren't fast or anything special except jump height which was ridiculous if you think about it. Halo 4 corrected that, which it should've been by the 3rd game. This one I'll somewhat agree with, I dislike almost all of the on-disc maps that Halo 4 had, the standout for me being Exile, even Ragnarok was bland. However, that being said, the DLC maps were incredible. They had so much variety and they map design worked with every playstyle that people have and use.
  6. I don't really have a level in Halo 2 that stood out for me being the best, maybe Delta Halo if I really had to split them up,. but even then, it's too close to call for me because the campaign as a whole was perfect. My favourite would be Brute Plasma rifle with SMG, that tears through the shields and then does blood damage at a very effective rate. The Arbiter was undoubtedly my favourite, so much information was fleshed out of him immediately and that carried in throughout the game. Being able to play as him was also so unusual compared to Halo CE, but it was something I wish they'd do again. Glad they brought it back in ODST though.
  7. Space Engineers is like none of those games you listed maybe except Minecraft, however it's closest to StarMade. Infact, it's practically a super upgrade to that game based entirely off it. The model types and how you interact with the game is almost identical. Only that the physics has been dramatically worked on. Being a game based of StarMade it's a sandbox game, there is no objective. You build, you play and you explore. That's all there is to the game, only fun with people to play with because it gets boring by oneself. The only thing that excited me over this game a while back was the physics engine, however this company is known for not completing games to expectations and what promised. So I have low expectations for this game from that knowledge.
  8. An infinite number of scientists walk into a bar. The first asks for one standard drink, the second asks for a half, the third asks for an quarter, this goes on for each scientist. The Bartender gives the crowd two drinks and says "Come on boys, know your limits".

  9. They had High Charity, filled with millions of flood biocreatures, then you had everyone on The Ark which the flood infected. A lot of that was transported to the new Halo Ring when Chief was getting Cortana. In that time, there was an opportunity to make a new Gravemind, but Chief stopped it by blowing it up.
  10. Yes, Graveminds hold memories of previous battles, that's what makes them deadly because they learn from their weaknesses, much like a SwarmLord from the Warhammer40k universe.
  11. 1. That Gravemind was there for a very long time, he had been left dormant. The monitor of that installation had many issues regarding the flood and that led to its Rampancy. It let the flood escape and didn't follow protocol properly, there was a substantial amount of Flood which grew more from spores which aided the Gravemind's personal army. 2. The Gravemind used In Amber Clad to transport flood into High Charity to infect, the Gravemind also has the ability to teleport creatures at his own control, it is assumed he can do the same with himself. Which can answer how he got aboard High Charity with the flood being there to guard him once on board. 3. Gravemind was destroyed on High Charity and never made it to the new Halo ring, that being said, he had being gathering flood biomass to recreate himself on that new Halo. That ultimately failed when Chief blew up the ring. Gravemind was properly killed on High Charity and nearly brought back to life on that ring, but never had the chance.

  16. The Elites are on the verge of a full scale civil war, those who support the Arbiter in being in the alliance with humanity, and those who think of only honour and want to wipe humanity from existance. The home planet of the Elites is also being attacked by the brutes. This short summary is more indepth in the book Glasslands.
  17. If you were to look at the sales, Halo 4 was easily a huge success. If you were to look at the amount of people who came back because of updates that 343 made, it was still a success. If you were again to look at the amount of people who regularly play the game, still a success just not as a big as previous titles. However, if you were to take into account the amount of flaws the game has, it's a mediocre game. But far from a fail. Halo 4 kills other games like Halo Wars, Halo 2 and Halo 3 ODST in my opinion for a few reasons. Halo Wars was the first Halo game made by Ensemble Studios, and is their only game. Halo 4 crushed it in sales and people still playing. Halo 2 was the buggiest Halo game known to date, its multiplayer was completely broken, so many say that was good for the button combos, but that's cheating and not how Halo is meant to be, it's core is a balanced game, not designed for cheaters who exploit the game to win. Halo 3 ODST lacked any sort of proper Online Play, therefore Halo 4 automatically wins that, even though it didn't have the successful gametype of FireFight. Halo 4 for a first fresh game made by such a new team is fantastic, so many ideas were put together, even if they didn't work it shows that 343 industries honestly have so much on their mind and want to make their franchise as big and exciting as possible innovating with so many new things. This is something that all fans should be excited over, many complain about the lack of change of games, and 343i are here to make their games something new and special. Even though not everything worked, they tried and learned from their mistakes and promised to make their next Halo title much better, and that's all you can ask from a Dev team who doesn't have to listen to their community, yet do so anyways. So in conclusion, yes, Halo 4 was a success.
  18. Attack on Titan has easily the best OST to any anime I've listened to.

  19. Planetside 2. Nuff said. It's an enormous game, and you don't need to pay anything at all to be the very best in the game, microtransactions are only used for minor weapon upgrades or skins. Which you can still purchase with the virtual credits you earn. Along with that, there are many other games that you don't need to pay a cent for. As Zebra said, there's a difference between Free to Play and Free to Beat.
  20. First game that I played I have no idea where it came from, I was only like 3 at the time. First game that I know where it was bought from was Target back with the GameCube. First time I saw a gaming platform at any store. What's the most important value you follow by?
  21. Ok, let me run through with you why buying a new console on release is a bad idea. A. Software issues, this could potentially destroy your account on the new Xbox One, it could wipe achievements or even saves you have. These bugs wouldn't even be fixed for at least a week after being announced that MS have noticed them. It's not just a simple update either, it would be a complete system reboot. B. Hardware issues, almost no new console has come out without a hardware problem. The Nintendo DS, PS2 and especially the Xbox 360 has major issues when released, these all took time to fix. A long time to fix mind you, only with the new Xbox Slim has the problem of RRoD gone down. And that was years after the launch of the Xbox 360. C. Exclusives. Unless you're absolutely in love with all of the exclusives, I don't suggest getting it now. Wait for new games to come out, by then, the Xbox One would've dropped in price and so would've the games which makes it better for you since you could spend money on more things with that spare cash. With those 3 major points out of the way, I searched up on EBay for "Xbox one controller", you can find a few Xbox One consoles with the controllers on eBay ready to be sold. Of course you can't get it yet since it hasn't been release, but these a promise deal. You buy it, and it gets sent to you once it's released.
  22. Incredible job on this, SSB: Melee is one of my favourite games ever, fantastic remakes, especially of Hyrule: Temple. When I can, I'm downloading this!
