It makes it harder for me having food stuck in my teeth because I have braces and I have elastic bands on my teeth so they get in the way. Just another year then I get my braces off. :/

I got to try this !!!!

  2. I think the Forerunners/Prometheans would, simply because they have a greater knowledge of war and their technology is vastly superior to the Covenant's in every way, so because of that, I'd say the Forerunners/Prometheans would be a greater challenge. Also, I'd suggest staying with Halo for a little bit, before branching out to other games, or movies, song genres and anything that you can think of that can be discussed in a positive way
  3. Reliving memories from my childhood always fills my heart up with joy.

      I disagree.

Reliving memories from your childhood is kind of boring.

I didn't have the normal childhood like everyone else. I didn't watch all of the popular shows. But I still enjoyed my childhood. I know the feeling though. When I got Halo C.E. Anniversary, it was 8 year old me all over again. :D

  4. That's quite an interesting opinion/thought you have on it, quite similar to mine in fact, but one thing in particular is vastly different for me. Good (in order from the best to the least best): The Maps - The map s were absolutely amazing, as soon as I jumped into Forge I ran around remembering the times that I had a blast on The Pit (Now Pitfall), the iconic features of the map brought back hundreds of memories I had of the map. The little shoot where the Sword spawned in The Pit was a good change to the map, would make for very good KoTH moments when the Hill is under that room. There is one thing I find very disappointing about the map though, the lack of the two "secret" hideouts up high each side of the map. Those were awesome to spawn in and kill people from, it's a shame they took away that area, because Jet Pack would've been very useful to get to that place. Armour and New Armour Skins - These are quite fantastic, except Ricochet, I genuinely hate that armour variant. The Prefect armour looks wicked and the Mrk5 and ODST variants are great for people who loved the old H3 armour. The skins are quite awesome too, the best being Bayonet in my opinion for the Venator armour class. Though, I haven't tried every armour, so I can't comment on all of the skins. However the ones I have, they're pretty darn cool. Weapon Skins - I quite hon estly thought these were terrible before purchasing the DLC Bundle, however when I downloaded it and went through my loadouts, my opinion changed rapidly. All of a sudden, they looked awesome and when I tried them on, they looked just as good in first person as they did in a 3rd person viewing. I love the Trauma skin for the Assault Rifle in particular, it gives me a ruthless look about me and how I kill my opponents (I wish). Stances - These aren't overly great, but are still pretty cool. Some do look pretty stupid like the Loyalty one and also Lookout, but they still add variety which is something that stances lacked since everyone went with the highest 'ranked' one they could get. Personal favourite is Flank, makes me look like how I play, a silent assassin. The Meh: Ricochet - This gametype though I haven't played it doesn't seem a whole lot of fun in my opinion, to people who aren't American Football fans, this doesn't exactly have the same sort of appeal and seems very meh. It's not bad by any means, another gametype to muck around in is always nice. But it's certainly no where near the great gametype everyone keeps saying it is, in my opinion from watching games of it. Of course my opinion isn't as proper as it could be, if I actually played it, but lack of XBL Gold prevents me from doing so. The Bad: The bugs - not as bad as the Season Pass DLC packs of course, those were horrendous, and looks like 343 did a good job of fixing those so they don't happen again. However, there were some other bugs that weren't taken into account for, such as the forearms not being the same as set in the settings when playing. This is a terrible bug and must be fixed quickly, there are also numerous other bugs, but I won't mention them since this isn't a "Name your bugs thread". Spartan Ops missout - the fact that 343i did not make the Spartan 4 armours carry over to Spartan Ops and have no plans in doing so is a massive downfall for this DLC pack, this would've been great if they had common sense and made it for all game modes, not just War Games. However, it's not something absolutely vital to the game, and can be looked over, unfortunately. Conclusion: By far the best DLC Halo 4 has had, and it's good they took their time to fix past bugs and add things that people would genuinely want this time. The massive variety 343 Industries added for player customisation and the maps are fantastic, shoutout to Vertigo. Though the bugs and lack of Spartan Ops interaction is a let down, this DLC is well made and thought about, and I'd certainly give it a 8/10 for what it is.

I say if that was expanded to a 1920x1080 resolution, that would make someone very happy for a sweet wallpaper.
  7. I'm coming after you again Donut, you stand no chance!

  8. I put both of them in my load outs for when I will be able to test them, the Recharge in my "CQC"/Hunter" style load out and the other Survivor in my "Vehicles Designed" loadout, both to serve a purpose, and do it well. Personally I find the Recharge more valuable for a couple main reasons. A. I don't die often in vehicles in a match, I dominate pretty well with a vehicle I sought after and obtained, and don't die often, if at all in it, so Survivor is not that useful for me. B. Recharge is helpful to get rid of that awful slow time to recharge normal shields, I get frustrated just waiting to have them charge up, when in the previous games, it wasn't like this. Though I can still get triple kills, etc, while they're recharging, but that doesn't happen the way I'd like because I'm too cautious about shields being busted by plasma weapons which people enjoy to use. C. Most maps don't even have a vast array of vehicles that are available in the beginning of most matches, only BTB and CTF will have a vehicle for most people (to my knowledge), so having Survivor in a loadout in a match like Infinity Slayer would be so utterly useless. I have a few more minor reasons, but those are my main points to seeing Recharge more useful than Survivor.
  9. Congratulations Redstar for the promotion! Such a shame you can't ever make Red, you go from Green, to Purple, to Grey, then to Blue and finally now to Orange. When will you ever reach your final form Redstar!
  10. Btw your latest blog, had hardly enough words compared to normal. Just something I absolutely felt the urge to share at all costs.

  12. Agreed with SJ, that Season Pass said nothing about including any DLC except Crimson, Majestic and Castle. Nothing about the Champion Bundle or anything in it. It was always to be the 3 DLC Map Packs promised, nothing more and nothing less. Saying it is false advertising is a pretty stupid claim.
  13. I hope it goes on the Xbox One. Having it on the Xbox 360 means that they won't be able to make the game at it's fullest potential because they would be focusing on a console that is old and with old specs, and with old specs comes worse made games compared to the newer consoles like the Xbox One. In the financial view for Microsoft, having it on both consoles would do a lot of damage to the sales of the Xbox One, they need as much sales as they can possibly get, and by having an exciting exclusive title for the Xbox One, it'll gain more sales than instead of everyone not buying the new console and sticking with the Xbox 360 to just save a great deal of money. But the main point I have is that the game will be exactly like Halo 4 if they put it on the Xbox 360, they can't improve that game in the engine because they pushed the Xbox 360 to its absolute limits, by making Halo 5 an Xbox One exclusive, a much much better game will be released as a result of building a game on a better console.
  14. There's been some bugs with the new DLC, this has stemmed into Spartan Ops which you have noticed. This will be patched as soon as the dev team can fix it and make an update for everyone. It's not gonna be damaging in any way, it'll just be an annoyance until it's fixed.
  15. I will take everything back that I criticised the new DLC about, got my new Prefect armour (along with Venator Skin which I have just found out) and they look awesome. The new maps Pitfall And Vertigo are so damn amazing, instantly into my top 3 Halo 4 maps, both of them.

Nope I'm gonna get that when I have the money for it. I just mucked around in forge on the maps. Don't need to play a game to know they're awesome though.

    3. Is not JL

      Is not JL

Almost every armor I have used is the new ones from the pack. Some pieces were re-used from previous models, but most of it is pretty dang awesome.

I'm probably one of the first few people who got the DLC first and I'm never leaving my prefect again. It is so awesome. I have a forerunner armour now :o

  16. Halo Wars, Spartan Assault, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, technically Halo Custom Edition, and now Halo Bootcamp or whatever it's called. They should just stick with the primary games and make them decent.
  17. Just found this when I was going through my YouTube feed about 10 minutes before posting this, thought you Halo lovers would enjoy this, surprisingly good video from Machinima. If you don't know what Draw My Life's are, best way to sum it up is, person A draws and commentates their life with a highlighter or whatnot, better to watch the video than to read my brilliant description: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClqRnxQQp5Q
  18. We have too many spin off Halo games as it is, it's best for 343Industries to just focus on the game at hand, being Halo 5. And yes, technically it is the Promethean war, look at Halo 4 and Spartan Ops. It's humans being turned into Prometheans fighting humans.
  19. Halo 7 is after Halo Reach, not before. It makes no sense to put it before that game. The Promethean War is good, much more interesting than Covenant - Human war which has been overdone by a large degree. It's much better to learn new lore than to play the same thing over and over and over again. Halo 4 was fine just having the Spartans pit off against each other, just like how Halo CE was, and most of Halo Reach. Yes they took away the Hornet and Falcon, but they weren't really needed, if they took the banshee away, it would be a whole new argument since that's been there since the start. Hornet has been in one game, and so has the Falcon.
  20. Changing Halo to a game style like Planetside 2 is wrong on so many levels. Halo is unique in its own right, and same with Planetside1/2. Not only doesnt it not make sense, since currently it's the Forerunner/Promethean - Human war and not a Covenant - Human war, but changing the game play so dramatically is what no game developer ever tries to do. They aim to stick with the roots, and changing Halo to a FPS MMO is something I hope to never see. Upon that, no console can even support the huge amount of data needed to run without lag like a PC can with Planetside, it's a silly idea to try and make it massive.
  21. I already solved that last night, when conversing with him
  22. How's the new computer going for ya?

  23. I disagree, I honestly believe that the skins and armour should have been in the game for free unlocks in the first place. The stances also should've been free, there's hardly any as it is. The game type could've easily been a new update in a TU or something. Not worthy of a 800MS/whatever the currency price is. The only part I can really accept being in the DLC is the maps that were made for the general community. Those do look sweet. I know I don't have to buy the whole bundle, that's why I probably won't. But I still dislike the idea of small items chucked into a DLC pack, when it should've been free, seeing how Halo 4 turned out.
  24. They have nothing, my first post said that it's just military prototypes. That's all that happens there. The reason people make up this alien rubbish is because of the secrecy of the projects done in that base. And also another little note, Area 51 is not that secret anymore, a lot more bases are far more secret, the reason we here about A51 a lot is because it's in the middle of nowhere, and a lot of movies have been based around it.
