  1. 2 Things. 1. The Infinity appears to be on fire in Locke's version, whereas I can't see any orange glow in the Chief's version, only smoke.(I'm wrong, it's on fire in the Chief's version too) 2. There has to be something in the way they switch their guns. Locke resorts to a more emotional, dramatic just dropping his gun in the puddle on the ground. Chief puts it on his back, like he always has. EDIT: Alright, here's some random thought I just had. I see a sort of a Big Boss and Solid Snake situation happening between Locke and the Chief. I'd wager that the Chief would view his fellow Spartan IIs as family, brothers and sisters who he lived and died together all his life with. Now here's the UNSC, sending some cheap knock-off, a copy of his family...to kill him. EDIT 2: The music. There's a distinct musical cue from past Halo games. In the Chief's trailer, at 0:30 - 0:34 seconds what sounds like a piece from the end of The Last Spartan plays. This is when the Chief is looking at his statue. Does he view himself as the last spartan? Broken and damaged? However, the end of The Last Spartan? Could this mean that Chief's time is coming to an end? Or will he be able to show Locke what it means to be a Spartan so he won't be "The Last Spartan"? In Locke's trailer, after about 0:09 - 0:12, we can hear that distinctive Halo theme in the background. This is just after he steps through a doorway and out into the open. Now what was one of the defining moments in Halo? Stepping through the door of that escape pod and into the wide open world. To me, this is probably showing that Locke's just beginning his journey, the same way we did all those years ago.
  2. Just give me a fuel rod and point me at the bad guys.
  3. Name: John E. Murphy Nickname: Panzer Race: Human, ODST (Formerly of the 23rd Shock Brigade) Rank: Staff Sergeant Class: Grenadier Weapon(s) of choice: MA5D with a bipod, sling and 2x optical sight. Has a urban camo paintjob with a shark face at the front of the weapon, M6D and Frag grenades. Plus a knife, obviously. Characteristics: Tall, has a short beard and short black hair, small scar on his left cheek, blue eyes. Sarcastic, professional, cocky, protective of his teammates to the point of risking the mission in order to keep his team alive. Armour Appearance: ODST helmet and chest piece. No shoulder pieces, full armoured guantlets. Prefers to wear a short sleeve shirt when possible. Helmet has been field reinforced with extra metal plates, which reduce the size of the visor. Wears a full assortment of bags, bandoleers and pouches. The armour is painted in an urban grey/black camo pattern, while the cloth beneath is plain black. There's a tally count carved into the chest plate, while the phrase "Remember Earth" is carved on the left side of his helmet. The ODST emblem is displayed prominently as a tattoo on his right shoulder. The emblem of the 23rd Shock Brigade is displayed on his left shoulder. Backstory: John joined the UNSC in order to escape a life of crime on earth. Seeing military service as the only option for a better life, he lied about his age in order to enlist. The UNSC being desperate for soldiers to fight the covenant, accepted him. After several years of service, he was offered a chance to join the ODSTs. He served for several years as an ODST, performing his duty and whatever else was expected of him, right up to the Battle of Earth. He survived to see the end of the Covenant war, but at a terrible cost. He could count the names of his friends left alive on a single hand. He had survived due to the brotherhood, courage and loyalty of his fellow ODSTs. When he was offered the chance to join the Spartan program, he declined. He could not bring himself to leave the unit and uniform that had made him the man he was.
  4. "Yeah...we have uhhhh...spotted a hostile uhhhh...snowspeeder in your AO uhhhhhhh...over."
  5. I want you to forge me a screenshot saying I'm the host.
  6. Pro-town could just not tell you they're sharing screens.
  7. I'd rather die then "have a long conversation" with someone I hate. The date is a bonus. Would you rather kill two strangers to save your significant other or kill your significant other to save two strangers?
  8. I'm pretty sure killing someone is more effective then stabbing them when your goal is to kill them.
  9. I vote ruby or kittens or whatever he's called at the time of this post.
  10. I'd say something, but let's wait and see what the reason is for him doing whatever before we start saying things.
  11. Why are people thinking about changing their names all of a sudden?

  12. None of you. I'd think that'd be for the best.
  13. COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE! INVESTIGATE...BUT NOT ALONE! Me and p34nut, we were "special" forces alright.
  14. 10/10 game would camp doorways with shotgun again. Really, it's such a fun game, I've played it to death. Elite 45 on my old account.
  15. *Chairman Ledgend of the great city, Russia, stands up and begins to address the assembly* "Comrades, I can tell you from experience that Berlin would benefit most from developing and sustaining wind power. Let us look at the facts. Berlin is rich in fossil fuels and easy access to offshore drilling. While this may be a boon to Berlin itself, one must look towards the future to see great opportunity for the people of Berlin. Fossil fuels will run out. Prices will rise and as they do, Berlin's economy will benefit greatly from exporting her ever more valuable natural bounty while falling on developed renewable wind and tidal power. With this acquired wealth, Berlin will surely make advances in such technology, which will benefit us all in the future. Environmentally and Economically. " *Ledgend gazes around slowly, reinforcing his point with a glare, almost looking like he is staring into the future itself* "Eclipse? They would be better expanding on their wondrous solar technology, making good use of their natural features while reducing the costly investment needed to build both a solar and wind powered infrastructure." *Ledgend sits down quietly and folds his arms*
  16. I didn't like that creepy pasta, it didn't really try anything scary and was far too short for any sort of buildup. The age old "OMG GORE SO SCARE" doesn't really do anything and actually devalues it, it's a cheap way to try and get a scare out of some people. Rarely works. Then it leaves all these questions and doesn't answer anything at all, which instead of ending in a "did that really happen?" like a good creepy pasta should, it ends with more of a "What the hell?".
  17. We are paying attention, we're just waiting on Helix.
