  1. That's not what the OP was saying. But even so, how would you decide what voice you get? What about the Announcer? What will it add to gameplay? If they do a firefight voice that uses your Spartans and your AI having back and fourth dialouge, that would be interesting. I'd like to see that.
  2. I say it's a pointless idea to explore while there's so much more important things to be worked on. Too much effort for too litlle gain.
  3. It's a good idea. Adds more to Firefight. I can see it like this: You set the the options for the flood. You set the weapons they spawn with and if they even have weapons. You enable Pure flood forms or disable them. AI: You could have both UNSC and Covie AI. Your choice: Elite or Spartan would determine which AI is your allie. Have both UNSC and Covie AI spawn, setting up three way firefights. Choose what allies and enemies you get and what weapons they have. Hazards: Dead bodies at start: For the flood to use. Weapons and Ammo on map: Three way brawl anyone? Sentinels: Sentinels sometimes appear and proceed to attack everyone on the map. Armed Gunships: Phantoms and Pelicans have weapons that they use when they drop off units. Allied Suppot: Things like weapon drops, ODSTs and Zealots. Random Infections: AI allies ( and hostiles!) may randomly turn due to Flood spores. Also, the maps could get a special backround and atmosphere. For example, instead of just New Mombassa with the standard bullets and random explosians, we got NM with fires, that green, flood mist and visible Flood infections (Gravemind too if they want to). These options allow the differeance between Fighting a war, having a chance at victory to fighting a losing battle, possibly being the last non-infected lifeforms on the planet.
  4. Why the hell do ODSTs have crappy silenced SMGs? It's like giving scouts Tanks.
  5. Jackal snipers are Overrated. I can easily get past them without dieing on H2.
  6. Hate the Direction they're going, I want my good MP back. Also, the music in H4 sucks and prometheans are badly designed.
  7. It's up to you to decide what to do. Make a guess based on what weapon you think they have. It has nothing to do with the weapons, it's about how you as a player choose to engage using those weapons and how other people use their weapons.
  8. That's what you get for using a long-range weapon. If you put yourself in a poistion where you will engage in CQC, you damn well better be able to kill the other guy with that weapon.
  9. I'm just going to say no, it would be a pointless waste of resources.
  10. "Snipers are too OP, they keep one-shotting infantry!" "Arty should be nerfed to hell, I mean they can just sit back and bomb my defenses from a distance!" "WTF, Missile squads are broken! They wiped out all of my tanks!" Look, as I'm the first one to stand up and shout what 343 did wrong, but I'll give credit where it's due. They've given us an AR worth using since CE. It's no way near overpowered. You said it yourself, they beat you at CQC. Where the hell else should they beat you? Can't stand the heat? Then get out of the fire. It's not the AR that's OP, it's your inability to adapt that makes the enemy OP. What do you honestly expect to happen when you charge in to CQC with an AR wielder? Look, the only feedback you'll get is what you're doing wrong, because that's where the problem is. It has nothing to do with the AR being "Over powered"
  11. Also, isn't this just a Gauss hog with a charge up? The Gauss is a rail gun.
  12. Removing loadouts is the way to go. The ability to deal with early game warthogs and other vehicles should be a resources, not a given.
  13. Halo 4. Terrible matchmaking, boring campaign, bad Menu music, sprint, Regicide(Seriously, who the hell thought it was a good idea to replace Juggernaut with this?!).
  14. They still have this? It was bad in Reach and it's bad now. Why can't they just reward players for finishing games?
  15. I don't know if playable ODSTs would work in MP. There would need to be a reason to make them attractive and VISR isn't that big of a pull when compared to Spartans and Elites. Here, take a look at my idea and tell me what you think. Alright, this is basically a fusion of Firefight and invasion. It has two teams, Attackers and Defenders. It is a large AI and Player vs AI and Player Each round is broken up to five seven minute phases. During these phases, the attackers must complete the objective to advance the phase. Defenders must eliminate all enemy AI and deplete the players attacking players lives or survive until times up. Certain maps have unique support that can aid or hinder a side. Attackers: They must complete a series of objectives allowing their AI allies to advance. Three times during a phase, attackers will recive AI reinforcements at 5:00, 3:00 and 1:00. Upon completion of a objective, a resupply and extra reinforcements are provided. The defenders get tougher however. AI allies will treat enemy players as priority targets and will not be able to complete objectives. Attackers recive extra lives after completeing objectives. Defenders: Their objective is to eliminate all enemy AI and Players or survive the time limit. They recive reinforcements only after an objective has been lost and will have a superior poistion to attackers. AI will prioritise defending the objective. It's a covie vs UNSC gametype. AI list: Phase 1: Grunts(Plasma pistol and needlers.) Jackels(Plasma pistols, needlers and carbines.) Ghosts. Elite minors. Human Miltia: (SMG's and Magnums.) Troopers:(AR's, SMG's and Magnums.) 16. Full Name: John E. Murphy Occupation: Hellbringer Armor Aesthetics: UA Marine BDU, With additional metal plates covering almost the entire body. Helmet has additional metal plates and has a modified ballistic face mask with two small eye slits. Armour is black and eye slits have a red-tint. Facial Appearance: Short black hair, blue eyes, clean shaven. Equipment/Weapon of choice: Modified heavy Flamethrower, with a very powerful, slow-burning fuel mixture. The flame thrower has a nozzle to extend it's range and it's fuel tanks are stored in a specialized armoured backpack. Three WP grenades and an Engraved .44 Magnum revolver as a secondary weapon. Backstory: Born on one of the Outer colonies, John was the son of a Captain in the UNSC. He admired his father greatly and was planning to Join the UNSC to serve alongside him. The covenant put a stop to that. It was only a week after they appeared on the planet that John found himself staring out the window of a transport as the remaining UNSC forces, along with his father, were turned to ash by the Covenant glassing the planet. John didn't feel sad though. As he watched his entire life burned away, he felt only anger. He wanted to see the covenant burn. This resolve soon led him to the UNSC's Hellbringer program. John was a natural and passed the program, though there were questions about his Pysch profile. He soon banished all doubts after his first few battles, where he proved he could control his personal feelings and follow orders effectively. He was awarded the Colonial cross for an action in which he torched a Zealot and forced a covenant retreat, allowing an Army platoon to evac, saving it from annihilation. Now, reach finds itself burning under covenant ships. John is once again faced with his desire to reduce covenant to ash.
