Ban MORE people above you for no apparent reason!
Composite Armour replied to Axilus Prime's topic in General Discussion
Banned for banning others because they banned someone else for questionable raisins. -
But they didn't, So I complain and hope they do and then not care about the people who complain about the best game ever because I will be playing the best game ever.
-
I hope they're gone. At least the flood was fun to fight.

It's too young to die! -
I don't see why it must change. Hell, the industry seems to detest change and promote similar gameplay. I don't see why 343 couldn't have just gone with improvement over change.

Which Halo would you say has the hardest campaign?
Composite Armour replied to O-Bot_Monty's topic in Halo 4
Is that where you must escape? If I remember right, you can jump and hit the tip of the banshee to negate the fall damage. -
I agree with the OP. The classic, unique Halo gameplay has been replaced with some abomination of Halo/CoD. Armour abilities were the first step in the wrong direction. They were implemented in the wrong way, though they do have a place in game play. However, they need to be made like equipment on H3. Have them spread around the map, make us want to contest their spawns for control. Sprint. Bad idea, doesn't fit Halo. Makes small maps, smaller and large maps not so large. Loadouts. No. Get rid of them from matchmaking. Halo's gameplay always had two teams with equal equipment, with skill being the only factor. Not anymore, now it's just picking the right gun for the map. This can ruin the gameplay of some maps like Valhalla. Ordnance. Out with it. It's just a bad game mechanic that punishes dedication and rewards deathmatch style play. Gone are the glorious days of contesting the power weapons, holding the banshee spawn and memorizing that early shotgun.

How can anyone not want Cortana back?
Composite Armour replied to TheTallSpartan's topic in Halo 5: Guardians
Because the only thing Chief said in H4 is "Cortana". I'd rather they focus on the bigger picture. -
Alright, lets set the scene... A Covenant fleet slightly larger then the ones that took Reach arrive at Mars heading to Earth. But what's this then? There's no UNSC in sight! It turns out, due to Tachyon emissions, that they have arrived at a completely different universe. But there still going to try and take it. So how would the Covenant fare trying to take Earth in your favorite Sci-fi universe? Just remember, they can't glass it because it's holy. So would they wipe the floor, get mopped or what?

Re posted. Deal with it. Thread locked. YOU deal with it. Alright, this is basically a fusion of Firefight and invasion. It has two teams, Attackers and Defenders. It is a large AI and Player vs AI and Player Each round is broken up to five seven minute phases. During these phases, the attackers must complete the objective to advance the phase. Defenders must eliminate all enemy AI and deplete the players attacking players lives or survive until times up. Certain maps have unique support that can aid or hinder a side. Attackers: They must complete a series of objectives allowing their AI allies to advance. Three times during a phase, attackers will recive AI reinforcements at 5:00, 3:00 and 1:00. Upon completion of a objective, a resupply and extra reinforcements are provided. The defenders get tougher however. AI allies will treat enemy players as priority targets and will not be able to complete objectives. Attackers recive extra lives after completeing objectives. Defenders: Their objective is to eliminate all enemy AI and Players or survive the time limit. They recive reinforcements only after an objective has been lost and will have a superior poistion to attackers. AI will prioritise defending the objective. It's a covie vs UNSC gametype. AI list: Phase 1: Grunts(Plasma pistol and needlers.) Jackels(Plasma pistols, needlers and carbines.) Ghosts. Elite minors. Human Miltia: (SMG's and Magnums.) Troopers:(AR's, SMG's and Magnums.) Mongeese. Phase 2: Grunts(Needlers) Jackels(Needlers and Carbines) Ghosts, Revenants. Elite minors and Majors. Troopers(AR's) Marines(AR's and DMR's) Warthhogs and Mongeese. Jackel Snipers(Beam rifle) Ghosts, Revenants, Wraiths, Spectres and Phantom gunships. Elite Ultras and Spec ops.(Swords, Concussion rifle, Plasma rifle.) Hunters. ODSTs(Shotguns, BR, SAW, Snipers, Rocket launcher.) Spartan IV's(SAW, Railgun, Grenade launcher, Rocket laucher, BR, Shotguns.) Warthogs(Gauss, Rocket and Gun.) Destroy target: Eliminate an enemy target(AI will not damage it.) Eliminate Officer: Kill a super-tough enemy officer(Shipmaster or Sergeant major). Assualt strong point: Kill a number of enemy AI in the area. Plant bomb: Arm and defend a bomb in the area. Destroy support: Eliminate an enemy gunship(Pelican gunship or Phantom gunship). Variants: Firefight: Defend against the enemy horde until you run out of lives. Field of Glory: No objectives, Kill the enemy. Assualt: A 4 man team must storm the guns of the enemy defenses and complete objectives with no support. Defend: Protect a series of generators against the AI enemys. What the ladies like: No infantry, No air, No support. A clash of steel in this vehicle only mode. You will be able to edit the support options for custom games on an indivdual basis. UNSC Support: ODSTs: A squad of ODSTs will drop down at random to support allies. Longsword superiorty: Longsword fighters will keep skies clear of enemy threats. Frigate: A frigate will be on standby near the battlefield and occaisonally bombard the enemy positions. Spartan IV team: Spartan IVs will be deployed by a pelican at random. Rocket Pelicans: Pelicans will make a sweep of the battlefield with rocket pods. Target locater: A target locater is provided to allow troops to designate orbital strikes. Covenant support: Spec ops: A spec ops team will appear cloaked behind enemy lines to inflict casualites. Wraith bombardment: Wraiths will bombard enemy units in range. Corvette support: A Corvette will bombard enemy held poistions. Zealots: Elite Zealots will drop from orbital insertion pods to inspire troops. Engineers: Engineers will boost friendly units with shielding. Scarab: A single Scarab is dropped from orbit and will remain on the battlefield until destroyed. AA Guns: AA guns are deployed to shoot down UNSC aircraft. All modes are playable as either covenant or UNSC. Well, what do you think? What needs to be redone?

Murphy had certainly taken his time in choosing his gear. But "better to be then to be jackal bait" as they say. He looked around for a pelican ready for deployment. There were many coming and going. It looked like he had missed the part and was only there for the cleaning. Boarding the pelican, he was only asked "Where to?" "Wherever you're going." As he lifted off, he caught an amazing view of New Mombasa. Fires, bullets, plasma. An aerial battle for supremacy between UNSC and Covenant fighters. The massive carrier sitting there, silent and ominous. "Actually, scratch that. Deploy me in the inner city, fast rope descent."

Isn't the munitions depot the command center? -
(Can someone make sure that I have everything correct? I'll edit where needed.) SFC Murhpy, ODST M255, Time unknown, somewhere on the outskirts of Mombassa. "Argh, son of a..." Murhpy woke up to a feeling of pain, most likely coming from the pile of scrap he was buried under. He mustered the strentgh to free himself from the twisted wreck, stumbling to his feet. Getting his bearings and doing a few quick excercises to make sure he was okay to hoof it. "Nothing's broken I guess, sure fee.....aw crap!" He only then realised that he had in fact broken something. He picked the tatterd remains of his backpack up, but no sign of the contents. He was lucky to have the hardcase at least. The outskirts of the city were quiet, save for the odd Longsword or Seraph. The city it's self looked anything but. Fires raging, bullets, plasma, bombings, artillery and that massive Carrier hovering over the area. He ran for what felt like hours until he was lucky enough to come across a marine patrol. After a short, rather uneventful trip, he found himself at some munitions depot. He was directed to the CO and introduced himself. "SFC Murphy, sir! Scorpion, ready to sting!"

Name: Murphy Rank: Staff Sergeant Service Tag: M255 ODST Appearance(physical and face): Short black hair, blue eyes and a light beard. Service Tag tattoed on his forehead. Armour: Up armoured ODST BDU with Black armoured plates over a urban camo scheme with a red visor and squad emblem on the shoulders, chest and sides of the helmet. Weapons: Combat knife, M6G Magnum, Modifed BR with an IR scope, Heavy barrel, Underslug Grenade launcher, slightly larger magazine, lighter trigger pull, Laser sight, Ammo counter replaced with a navigation interface and a urban camo paintjob. Specialty: Urban combat, Warthog driving. History/backstory: Born in a small town in the Nevada desert, Murphy enrolled as soon as he was 16 to get out of that "Boring farmboy life" he said he was destined for if he stayed there. He proved to be an execellent marine and passed with flying colours. Deciding he wanted more out of his career, he applied to be an ODST. He soon found himself with the "Scorpions", an ODST sqaud with a proven record against the innies and an impressive count of destroyed Covenant materiel. Two tours of duty with the Squad at various skrimishes with the Covenant and Murphy was an accomplished member. It all went to hell at Reach. During a hostage rescue training excercise in New Alexandria, the squad found it's self on the frontline during the Covenant attack. After two days of non-stop fighting, the squad was reduced to just three memebers. They found themselves with Spartan team GUANTLET assisting in evac operations. It was at during a battle at New alexandria's orbital elevator, that the remenets of the squad was faced with an Elite spec ops team led by a Zealot. Murphy's remaing comrades fell and he was forced to detonate a frag at lethal range to kill the Zealot. Suffering a fatal blow to the chest, Murphy was evaced and sent to earth. There he recoverd and was awaiting re-assignmet aboard Cape town station when the Covenant appeard. He now bears the honour of the last Scorpion to go into combat. -
Doesn't matter, Halo 3 is better then both.
