Your opinions are based on your own strategies and experiences on those maps. I had favorites and least favorites, too. But every game is different. There is always a strategy to counter the other team, you just might not have thought of it yet. If a team is camping on the buildings snipe them. Or make them come to you. Or sneak up on them. Or wait for rockets. Or drive a blam!ing ghost on the roof. It doesn't matter, just think of what they won't anticipate, and do that. If it were up to you all the maps would be flat and symmetrical and I would quit playing. I must've played a hundred games on haven and each time it's different. If you get killed in the center DON'T GO IN THE CENTER.

Has this happened to anyone else? I would've thought they'd have it go into a "Sudden Death" scenario. But maybe they're just trying to keep all games to 10 minutes or however long it is. That said, holy blam! Complex, down by 6 because my teammates were, uh, having a rough game ...and made up the difference in the last 30 seconds. Took down an overshield first, in open terrain with frags and DMR, which gave me an ordinance drop--sticky detonator, then triple-kill in the final seconds because the other team rushed in cocky trying to snag a few last kills before the time expired. Someone must've found 2 more kills in that window. I thought I hated instant respawn, but this might have just changed my mind. Anyone else seen an epic tie game before? ***There's plenty of topics whining about lack of skill in Halo 4 on this forum. Keep that crap somewhere else or look me up on XBL and you might learn somethin.***

343 Industries, I respect you, I respect what you did, I respect this game. But I've heard a lot of complaining on LIVE about this one, and I have to say I agree... The Mongoose is just too damn powerful. I've been playing Halo for a long *** time, and I'm a skilled player, but in Halo 4, no matter what I do, I can't stop the mongoose. I've tried grenades, rockets, jumping... Nothing works. I even tried the plasma pistol, and it stops it for a couple seconds, but then it just starts moving again and runs me over anyway! And it's a one-hit kill! Every time I spawn I'm killed by the mongoose. There I am, out in the open, and blam!, I get hit by a mongoose. I've even tried running inside of buildings for cover, but it's so small and agile that it fits through the doorways and splatters me all over the hall. It takes all of the strategy out of the game. Everyone just rushes for the mongoose at the beginning of the match. It was good in previous games, but this isn't the mongoose that Bungie intended. It's not even Halo anymore! I mean sure, we're running around in spartan suits on alien planets with shields and whatnot, but that's the only thing that's still "Halo" about this game. You might as well call it Mongoose. We used to have balance, in Halo 2, 3, hell, even in Reach. But now, it seems like the more kills the other team gets, the more mongooses...mongeese they get. I have to confess... I went to the dark side a while back. I decided if I was going to get killed by the mongoose so much, why shouldn't I fight fire with fire? So I started going for the mongoose too. And I got kills. I got a lot of them. But was it worth it? To feel dirty inside every time my team won because I got my kills with the all-powerful mongoose? To hear the n00bs and 12-year-olds call me a cheater every time I put treadmarks on their helmets? I know this is Halo 4 now, and it's adapt or die, but I just couln't do it. Just because it's in the game doesn't make it fair. I don't know how all these folks sleep at night. If you ask me, there's only one way to save Halo 4. Take the mongoose out of the game. Then we'll see who the real skilled players are. Also, the following weapons are too powerful and unbalanced: DMR Fuel Rod Cannon Needler Pistol Plasma Pistol Sword Gravity Hammer Railgun Shotgun Scattershot Sniper Rifle Beam Rifle Light Rifle Binary Rifle Jetpack Plasma Grenade Tank Boltshot But I can live with those weapons. Just take out the damn mongoose. Before it's too late. Reply to sign the petition and save Halo 4!
