No, dude, Settler was thrown together in a few minutes. It's like something someone just discovering Forge would make. They threw down a few buildings and vehicles. The aesthetics are incredibly lazy and senseless. I mean, what's with the Walkway Cover with the window and the satellite antenna? Just a very lazy, thrown together map.

Because Halo 4's ending was rushed. There are tons of things that didn't make any sense and caused flaws in the story. For example, Chief was… in a hard light bubble, I guess? And he detonated a nuclear bomb in his hands, and survived because of that. And the Didact has the Force. There are tons of things that make no sense in Halo 4, best to just ignore them.

Complex in BTB. The map's dynamics were designed for mid-size slayer teams. In BTB you get tons of players in the same place and it's just chaos and not fun at all. Secondly, Settler. It's just such an incredibly crappy map. I don't think I really need to elaborate as anyone who's played, or even seen the map can tell. -
Oh don't even get me started on Settler.

Halo 4 had major story flaws and that's what I disliked about it. I liked the missions, the environments, enemies, weapons, et cetera. There was just a lot left unexplained for anyone who doesn't read the novels. -

I recently purchased the Steel Skin Pack and Infinity Armour Pack and was loving them both until I exited a game to find that my armour and skins were GONE! Any armour was replaced with Recruit, the weapons were replaced with their default counterparts. I PAYED for those and now they are GONE! A similar thing happened earlier when I downloaded the update and lost all my loadout items and had to pay Spartan Points to get them back. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

4:32 Arrested Development? It has a lot of great aesthetics, but it also has a lot of aesthetic flaws. Random candy colours and boring buildings. It doesn't look great for gameplay. However, there is a lot of methodology that I can't figure out, so I'll give it a download.- 8 replies

The editing isn't great, particularly the title where the words fly in from either side in a bold, cliche font. Camera movement isn't great. The flashback thing was really bad. The sound is bad. The voice acting is pretty bad. Way too close to the mic. Doesn't sound genuine. Voices are very… weird. Honestly the steel Recruit at the beginning sounds like, uh… not someone with… military qualifications. And the green guy yawned during one of his lines. When he screamed "NOOOO!" it was cliche and ingenuine and sounded like "MMMMMMHFFFFFFFHHHHHMMMM!" And his Rs are weird. Is he supposed to be British? Oh god that's a TERRIBLE British accent. I don't know what's up with the orange guy, that is not a human voice. It sounds like Austrtian Optimus Prime drank alcoholic fuel. Everyone is extremely overacting. Why does the one guy sound like a robot? Chanselor sounds like a fifteen-year-old wannabe gangster who thinks he's tough crap, then his voice gets really rough all the sudden. The gold recruit sounds like he's nine. The green guy with the Tracker helmet sounds like he's six. The dialogue doesn't seem genuine. "No way!" "Yes way!" "No way!" And makes no sense that Austrius Prime would help the guy find his family all the sudden, after trying to shoot him, which in turn succeeded him saving his life, unless he really is drunk. And what kind of war lord says, "ikr?" -
Complex is about the size of Asylum, which is a 4v4 map. I like it for 4v4, but in BTB it's too cramped, and the player migration dynamics that are integrated in a 4v4 map (where players tend to flow towards one or two combat areas) just makes for unstrategic chaos with sixteen people.

Actually all it is is access to a stream on Waypoint. It's not like you can download it and watch it whenever, you still have to wait for it to load and buffer which interrupts the film. It's essentially equal to watching in on YouTube, with the exception of it being much less unversal. -

I started this topic in February and now I come back to this forum for like the first time since then and see that it's HOT. I was even more surprised when I saw that the Stig had liked it… Anyways, instead of Magnets I think it would be better to have a "Snap similar dimensions" tool. 2x2s would snap to the sides of Wall, Doubles, and such. This way You won't have to deal with random pieces sticking together, like decorative pieces or differently sized blocks. -
Spawning the Rocket at such an elevation is probably not a good idea, not sure how I feel about the Sniper Rifle but I really like the look of the map. Scratch that, the Rocket spawn is fine, but I still think it would be better if it were on the bridge rather than the Sniper. I'm really not sure that a Sniper Rifle is a good choice for such a small map at all. It definitely looks like the U path in the rocks needs more LOS blockers, primarily along the edge. It may also be an interesting dynamic to put some horizontally placed covers extending from the U platform above the rocks.

A very nice subway map, but I may suggest that you remove the red colour from the track and also remove or replace the Brace, Larges with something that doesn't interrupt the track design in the 5x5s. When I made the Burrows I used half-submerged bridges for the tracks. You may want to use this method, but as it seems there is a small length of track in this map you may want to utilize a method that I wanted to attempt but didn't have enough pieces; try arranging upside-down Container, Larges in a curvilinear fashion. -
Woooow this looks awesome… Looks like a map you would find in Combat Evolved. How does it play, though?
