Geometry Hole Glitch Discovered
Creative Gaming Inc. replied to DarklingNinja's topic in Forge Discussion
This seems interesting. The part that really intrigues me is the weather. Crossing my fingers for weather in Forge Island. -
Go home, Magnets, you're drunk.

Why not improve Halo 4's Forge and then just bring it over to Halo 5? That makes more sense to me, if it's possible. -
we will get a forge world in halo 4
Creative Gaming Inc. replied to masterchief93's topic in Forge Discussion
Better than in Reach? The textures are too detailed and offer less application in terms of what the piece can be used for, small blocks especially with the pipes and curves, and the pieces have holes in them which makes putting down a tiled floor a hassle because people can see down under the map, and there are bumps with invisible barriers so things that line up properly with the piece have visible gaps beneath them. -
LE "Exclusives" being released on Marketplace
Creative Gaming Inc. replied to Creative Gaming Inc.'s topic in Halo 4
Which was just a few pieces of paper and flat plastic, not a lot. It's not like we got the patches and the huge freaking Halsey's journal that was with the Reach LE for $90. -

Hopefully all these things can come with the Forge Island update. -
So the only non-physical exclusives that came with the LE were the Prime skins, the Recruit Avatar Armour, and the Avatar Cryotube, and now the avatar items are released to everyone? This seriously lessens the value of the LE since there aren't any exclusives anymore, except for in-game skins for the starter armour. It is not worth near the hundred-dollar pricepoint, I think 343 should give us LE owners some compensation.

I'm gonna be honest here, I didn't even know precision editing mode existed until everyone started complaining about it being gone in Halo 4 and even then I didn't know how it worked.

Halo4 forge MUCH better than Reach
Creative Gaming Inc. replied to QuartzToenail's topic in Forge Discussion
Maps are much quicker and less tedious to build, and indoor maps can have very unique atmospheres, but it is just so, so, so broken in so many ways. -

God… your logic… it makes no sense. They're not all the same, the bottom two pictures are from two different places and I don't even know why the painting is there. The top picture is incredibly blurry. I don't know how you can so certainly say, "This is proof." -
why we dont need a forge world
Creative Gaming Inc. replied to Caboose The Ace's topic in Forge Discussion
It seems that you don't do a whole lot of serious forging. Yeah, we only used a bit of it, but that's not the point of having a huge environment, it was so that you could combine the different parts of the Forge World to create a unique terrain. You could use the Island and the Beach, the Alaska and the Montanna, the Montanna and the Canyon, the Alaska and the Beach, the list goes on. In Halo 4 you only have a few possibilities on each map. Forging BTB on a natural landscape is a killer because you've only got one place to use in each map and they all end up coming out the same. The Anvil Next engine? Ragnarok? Dude, the Green part of Ravine isn't half the size of Ragnarok. It's impossible to make a BTB map on the terrain in Ravine unless you put extra, artificial ground on either side. THat map Settler, it plays awful and it took me like two minutes to capture a flag. -

Just made an update, it's a bit more accurate now and I've also added a little surprise. -
I especially like the round foundation made from pallets under the house.

Halo 4 Noble E 2552 presents Venice in Miniature
Creative Gaming Inc. posted a topic in Aesthetic Maps
Gamertag: NOBLE E 2552 Map name: Venice in Miniature This is a miniature (about 1:4 scale) of Serena Republica di Venezia's Piazzo San Marco (Saint Mark's Square in Venice). I made this as accurate and detailed as my abilities, and the budget, would allow. Take a look: -
Not bad, not bad.

Ten points for your profile picture. The map needs some aesthetic improvement.

Those bikes are awesome! And is that BATMAN'S TUMBLER? -
But it's not open space, and everything is awkwardly shaped. It's definitely not a blank canvas.

Hopefully they learn from their many mistakes when they make Halo 5's Forge, or better yet, patch Halo 4.
