these are just some of the things that i want to see in halo 5. vehicles from halo wars, equipment from halo 3 return plus new weapons and a few other things if every single vehicle from halo wars was in halo 5 but tweaked slightly for multiplayer then that would be awesome equipment was very useful back then and it could still be useful and would make game play faster as players rack up kills with gadgets such as the energy drain and flare and it would be cool if equipment could be selected and thrown like a grenade and found in ordinance drops it'd be nice to have an armor ability that allows you to push and damage other players with a 360 degree area of effect (like in crisis) it could have the same animation as armor lock from reach with the dust/ debris effect of the mantis stomp but smaller. this AA would be great for when you are being shot from multiple angles from a short distance, when an enemy is charging at you, and even grif ball i would like to see new melee weapons like the elite spear (probably not what it's actually called) from the halo wars cutscenes and a jackal spear which is basically long version of the needles on the needler and players would be able to throw both spears to kill enemies but the jackal spear would explode like the needler's supercombine (you know how 6 needles causes a player to explode in a pink mist? yeah that's what i mean) and i guess the elite spear could stun an enemy and cause them to move temporarily slower once they are hit and maybe the stunned player would have to press a button to pull the spear out of their body to move normally again ammo for both of your weapons should also be an available ordinance every time (press up on the D pad) any other suggestions, feed back, ideas or comments?

the only thing i didn't like about the halo 4 rocket launcher was that it didn't indicate how long you had to wait for a lock onto aircraft unlike in halo 2 where it would make a beeping sound and the fact that when you did lock onto an ariel vehicle it would show a white rhombus instead of a red circle like halo 2

yeah true the flight time was toned down but since most of the halo 4 maps are medium and small sized with little to very few high ledges and long jumps it's not really unnecessary. plus a heavily armored spartan shouldn't able to fly the same distance as an ODST like that one level on reach. it sucks that you can't fly as high but trust me the halo 4 jet pack gets the job done -
New weapons, armor abilities, and vehicles in halo 5

just give me all the vehicles from halo wars, halo 3 equipment like the energy drain, trip mine, jammer and flare in the form of grenades, new weapons, characters, armor customization and i'm golden anything else after that is a bonus -

so you want the jet pack from reach? you mean the same jet pack that has no control and allows someone to fly so high that you can barely see their feet? i don't think so. it would be nice if it was slightly longer but not like reach's jet pack -
i like these ideas. the flame thrower should return but with a cooler new look similar to halo wars and also weapons that can penetrate walls would be useful like a UNSC sniper rifle with an x ray scope and a covenant energy weapon but without an x ray scope so PV will be needed to shoot accurately. equipment from halo 3 should return in halo 5 in the form of grenades like the jammer, flare and bubble shield. the honor guard spear is a good idea and i think there should be a jackal spear which is basically a long needler spike but with shorter throwing and melee range than the honor guard spear and can break after a certain amount of hits

this could be a great AA for grif ball. i want a similar AA but something with a short 360 degree AOE that can push enemies back or hurt them which would be useful for charging enemies or when you are being shot from multiple directions- 15 replies

i think adding aesthetics to multiplayer like the example you gave is a great idea so long as it doesn't make the matches more laggy. it'd be cool to see a falcon fly over the map every time a player joins your match and a falcon crash every time a players leaves or a pelican with your team color shoots down an opposing team's pelican and vice versa or just other random stuff that happens outside the battlefield that doesn't effect the actual match -
yeah cool idea the halo wars locust can shoot streams of energy at long distances with a zoom able scope and its secondary overcharge ability and also an ability to leap which can double as a stomp but weaker and with both front legs. if they add vehicle perks in H5 (in campaing anyone should be able to do this) then there could be an ability to hang from walls or ceilings but with enough explosive firepower or an EMP weapon it can come crashing down and lose a lot of health depending on the drop height. if it leaps from a wall or ceiling then it should land safely on the ground with a stomp damage boost. since it has shields two shots should be required to disable it with an EMP, the first shot breaks its shields. i think the locust should be shorter than the mantis and as long as a wraith so that it can be used in certain multiplayer maps. what do you guys think? @ DARWINTREMOR69 thanks for the feed back oh i thought the gremlin would be a really cool support vehicle and shoot EMP bolts like the plasma pistol but at a higher velocity and with a longer EMP duration but with a shorter range and vehicles with shields will need two shots one for the shield break and the second for a temporary disable (players with over shields need two shots as well) it's secondary ability could be like a EMP burst or a bubble shield to protect the gremlin and key areas. i also thought an ammo truck that could double as a transport vehicle would be great too since you only get like 3 mags in H4 unless they give more in H5

I would really like ALL of the vehicles from halo wars to return. the locust will basically be like a mini scarab with an alien version of a spartan laser shooting a continuous stream of energy until it over heats and can have a leap ability which doubles as a mini stomp that can damage a smaller area than the mantis. secondary ability shoots a deadlier stream of energy but drains shields like in halo wars but much faster. cobra is like a Gauss light tank and plays similar to halo wars. wolverine (dual rocket pods because it looks cooler) but without the grenade launcher and this vehicle is important for destroying the vampire and seraph. the vampire should play similar to halo wars but should shoot needlers that are fast and explode with a wider radius which is good for bombing runs. seraph should also be able to drop explosives like plasma bombs or something because it should be more unique than the banshee other than the fact that it has shields and looks different. the hawk should have two seats one for a pilot who flys and mans two double barreled machine guns (or gauss cannons like in halo wars) and a copilot who mans single machine gun that is able to rotate 360. the gremlin could fire EMP bolts like the plasma pistol but the shots fly faster and the EMP effects last longer on vehicles but if the vehicle has a shield then the first shot only takes down it's shields while any follow up shots temporarily disables it and it has a shorter range than the plasma pistol and it's secondary is an EMP burst that knocks down any shields with in it's proximity. so i pretty much want to see vehicles play almost exactly like in halo wars. lastly i would like to see an ability that allows a player to punch the ground and do damage to others (like in crisis) this could be effective when surrounded or when a player with a melee weapon is charging at them. any opinions or improvements on these ideas? dislike or like the idea and why?
