It seems a very high target for a gun which is next to never used to kill, i've got 2kills with it as i've never used it in anything other than big team to disable vehicles. Now I see quite a lot using it on smaller games to knock down shields but they always finish people off with a melee or their primary wepeon so I thought maybe the challenge should of been for EMP assists instead or maybe a lower kill amount than the other 2 pistols. Does anybody use it to kill with?

Almost everytime I play oddball I find myself getting frustrated because someone on the other team knowing there about to lose the ball throws it over the edge and it returns in a random spawn point with no penalty at all and its a 50/50 chance there going to get it back. I like the idea of oddball it would be a brilliant game but for this.

Yeah it is my brother said the same you have to hold it down to assassinate but I think they need to tweek it because it doesn't seem to make a difference. It can be really frustrating when you do a beatdown with no1 for miles around but your on a 15 kill rampage and my spartan decides to wrestle his victim to the ground with 3 enemy dmrs pointing at you, given the choice i'd go with a beatdown everytime for the reason i've just said and people just love the easy kill steal!

I had duke nukem for the sega saturn it was a brilliant game only the original though all the ps1 third person games were awful yeah I saw a few reviews for the latest 1 and wondered why they bothered. I missed the age of empires 2 craze, mythology was were I got into the series maybe this is the reason! That still had a lot of them crazy map types though! Yeah dont think number 3 was very good for the customisation and I did see a lot of complaints on the forums 2 did seem to be the fan favorite, I just love 3vs3 battles on 3 got like 2500 games on it, I still occassionally play it! Age of empires2 has been released now on steam.

Am I missing something is there a way to assassinate someone rather than doing a beatdown? It just seems to pick them at random and has caused me a few deaths I could of easily avoided had a beat down come out rather than an assassination with 3 enemy spectators!

Loved the n64 1 game I always think of though was f-zero 64 that game was amazing and the gamecube follow up, blew wipeout out of the water! Think i'd buy a wii U if they made a decent remake with a 30 player online mode that would be amazing! But goldeneye was just beyond any other console game at the the time the amount of hours we put in on the four player splitscreen in my mates sweaty little bedroom back in the day! Thats very rare these days that 4 people all crowd round 1 console for some split screen action, but the laughs we used to have! when the 1st halo arrived my little bro and his mate both had an xbox we were playin 8 player split screen system link at my mums house I couldt believe how exciting it was, it would be hard to top that ooh those were the days! Although ive got to say though I agree with you on most of the sequals you mention don't live up to there prequals resident evil 6 seems to have gone full on action game! I absolutley love age of empires 3 inspite some of the rediculas balance issues I still loved it! I've clocked some serios hours up on that game, I also thought age of mytholgy was a brilliant spin off for the series!

Famin does make it a little bit harder! Well im through it 1hit melee takes em down from behind lol( master chief must have 1 strong elbow) thing is its a lot easier on that mission as you have cloak, i'll use needler were possible but that works a treat thankyou! The end I had to take out 2 hunters again this is going to be a lot harder on the later levels because on this 1 they are slightly distracted by the gaurdians and theres a gun case with 2 fuel rods sat there, any advice on hunters?

Mmmm I hope not! I dont think k/d records would mean a single thing if half your kills came from bots! No matter how good the a.i. Its never the same as playing humans, maybe if they did it like off line or a practice mode but I really can't see it happening and don't think it would really intrest many if it did!

I know fuel rods brilliant for it but im doing it to get both challanges at 1s which means I have famin on so they drop like 2 shots! I shall try your method though. Yeah you can own them with the needler pretty quickly but it takes about all the ammo you can carry to take 1 out!

I know its a frustrating thing with the plasma pistol, I found needler works better so long as you have the ammo!! Think your way sounds better though i'll have to practice it thanks for the responce!

It does need a bit more variation in the playlist theres a lot of old game types that i've enjoyed that I wouldn't mind seeing again, big team objective would be nice with 1 flag capture and headhunter, stockpile and some bomb variations! Maybe a pro gamelist with out ordinances and perks because i'm getting a sneaking suspicion some people would prefer it. Hopefully these league games should kick off soon aswell, oh and races should make a comeback rocket races too!

Im just working my way through mission 2 for the weekly challange taking down elites shields with these skulls on seems to take 4 plamsa charges, so im wondering how many shots it takes to get some of the later games tougher elites shields down? This is quite tricky now unless theres a ghost or fuel rod near by but having famin on there's not so much ammo about for the latter so i'm finding the need to use the plasma pistol more often than anything else!

This whole post started with a guy saying how he hates halo 4 not the halo series just this game, then he rambled on about everything down to the armour( I mean come on surley thats just being petty) i'll be honest I only brushed through the complaints as he went into great detail to list the same problems i've already read from other people, so it turns out people do do it! I do like the game, its not perfect but most the problems I have are fixable and don't upset me so much that I can't stand or even dislike the game! That link says there were 30 000 on saturday night? I can assure you there was close to 80 000 wish i'd of taken a photo now!

Do you know on saturday night and there was way over 80 000 people on all the varios game modes now I know this isn't as much as maybe 3 had playing but the fact is there really was far less choice and I know you will never agree with this but cod has definatley taken away players from halo, battlefield has a fair old following aswell!! So now you've made it very clear you hate the game keep making your point by not playing then you have no need to keep banging on about it........... Or get over it and move on changes have been made, times have changed!

What was the big forest map off the anaversery maps called, not sure were it came from originally think it was 2 that map was awsome! There were some good forge maps put onto reach playlists, though there was a lot of crap I liked caged/uncaged assylum and a few others surley they wouldnt be to hard to convert over just to bulk up the map count

Well this is a refreshing post, I totally agree people moaning about tiny aspects of the game aspects which I can't see a problem with is just rediculas sure it's not without problems but none of the problems break the game, there were also some balancing issues with the games of old which some of these people seem to convieniently forget! I thought the campaign was excellent too!!

I hope they do bring multi team back it was fun what was the game mode were u collected skulls and put em in that area? That were good!! I do like extraction though so I shall look foward to it:-)!!!

Lol so ur saying use it to carry flags aswell :-/ u cant even use a thruster pack with the flag I think teleporting with it would slighlty irritate a few people...... Just a thought!!!!

Mmmmmmmmm so can the rocketlauncher sir:-/ I do not understand the argument!! Or are u talking about the binary? Because again its not better in every way its 1 hit kill sniper is 1 head shot or 2 otherwise!! That loads up 2 shots at a time and gets 4 extra shots!! Sniper loads 4 at a time and has 8 extra shots but binary gives away ur position and tells u some1 is aiming at u fair trade I think. Now I cant see how this is ruining the game!!

Im with u I agree with pretty much everythin on this post, people do get carried away with this balancing lark, its not as if every1s carrying the inceneration cannon infact I bet ive gone 5 or 6 games without even seeing 1! I wouldnt say its any better than the rocket launcher if u way up the pros and cons, rocket launcher might not be quite as powerful but it has 2 rockets a time more ammo over all reloads faster and the rockets move waaay faster so I think its a fair trade as with the binary to the sniper its not an out an out better gunbecause of its weaknesses!!

I dont mind choices, all the moaning about balance on other game types gets on my nerves! but swat shouldnt have em every1 should be level it was far more fun on reach! I understand not to pick br on complex and the like, but br just feels really random sometimes as if the u dont need to aim for the head, I use it when I have to but it just feels out of place!

I think they should make it either dmr swat and br swat 2 seperate games in the votes I thought the idea with swat was that every1 is on a level field, I do still enjoy it but prefered it when every1 had dmr on reach frankly id do away with the br on swat completley seems like luck a lot of time when they head shot u, there did used to be a magnum game mode on reach aswell... Get that back an all!!

1st u mention 4 maps about 5 times if u took time to count u would realise there are 5 maps for slayer then 5 maps for big team!! Now if u choose to play only slayer u are resticing urself to a small part of the game, far more than thedevelopers lack of maps! U are obviosly using the wrong tool for the job the assault rifle, suppresor all have there place but if ur running around in wide open spaces with these guns ur bound to be getting owned off dmr or anything else!! In enclosed ares these guns should come out on top!!
