1. DarkAngel said he picked instead of the RNG. There is never a need for random roles; that's simply done because bias is a thing. The only other game I've played without random roles had 5 factions, 40 players, and each player handpicked by the host to be in a faction that they would most probably do their best to make the game fun in. (And no, that host didn't find it hard at all; Mafia isn't exactly hard to host. At all. A t A l l .) 2. If you decide to increase the player-count then the best fix is to reshuffle ALL roles. Whether you choose to do it or not is up to you. 3. "My laptop can't screenshot" I'm sure it can, one way or another. "Screenshots are near worthless" Well, that's not true. They can be faked, but they're also the most common provisional evidence around. Just because it can be falsified, doesn't make everything worthless, and your inability to produce evidence for yourself will only draw attention to your own self being guilty.

A) What does the Jailkeeper ACTUALLY do? "Releasing" a player who has been "Lynched" doesn't make sense; the two alternatives I can think up is that he 1. Prevents a person from being lynched OR 2. Brings a lynched player back to life. In the past we had less powerful Pro-town roles and still Pro-town held an advantage. If this game turns out the same we might want to take a look in changing that up.

why do we need a sign up thread and then a game thread it just clutters up the offbeats section with more and more 'mafia' threads, one of them is useless, and only serves to create confusion.

Wrong, it was an impossible gamble because it's confirmed only you or I were Mafians. Killing a random Pro-town, no matter how useless they've been, is....useless. And you would have tied the game for the Mafians. Even if you just switched your vote to me; that'd be tie game.

Edit: my misunderstanding. Ledgend is right to an extent; quite simply, People first came at the end of Mafia 1.0; thus they should be served first.

no it is not conceivable at this stage of the game for pro-town to lose but if we end up tying im done im done
