WHen you said one shots, I thought you were referring to a one shot comedy..... In any case, I don't care about those who make one post then leave. If they don't want to join an awesome gaming community out of pure laziness, fine. We can't force them.

It's not that they're excessively hard....it's just that Halo's controls are dumbed down, while BF3 actually uses realistic controls, such as having to control pitch and yaw. For the first month or so I couldn't play BF3's vehicles. But I practiced, and now I am great with it; 10x better with a communicating and good teammate. Jets as well.

It's stupid that there's a rank that is visible only on a site for only the fanliest of fans. Reasoning: Because 343's target audience is bad players, and they don't want them to get shot down.

Imagine if the aerial vehicles played like the ones in BF3. I would love to play with that VTOL with BF3's realistic controls, and that would balance it out as well.

Actually, what I would do is create a story in which you are and ODST (Legendary/Heroic mode) or Spartan (Normal/Easy mode), with the story revolving around characters of scientists, ONI teams, etc. And less about fighting. If it's a role playing game, it needs to be ingrained in the story, yet allow sandbox ways to play it.

I just liked how Halo 3 was a lot more competitive, and had like just a BR, great maps, etc. Halo 4 has Ordnance and stuff, and adding so much randomness has cut down on the skill gap; even worse, there isn't a visible rank now.

It's not about action but about character. A story all about punching isn't a story. There's character development, and that's what makes every movie great, especially video game based ones, whether it's machinima, or animated, or live action. People weren't looking to see Chief murder tens of thousands of covenant. Thats what you do in the game. People were looking forward to see what would happen next at Corbulo Military Science Academy, to seeing Chief through the eyes of a recruit, and seeing how Chief influences the recruit from being a guy who wanted to quit out and use his medical issue as an excuse, or as a recruit who would be inspired to become a true hero. And wasn't it awesome, seeing Thomas Lasky as a dork to seeing him in Halo 4?

It makes me feel a bit sad that I missed out this great community for a year in exchange for Waypoint, which kinda sucks anyways. In any case, 1350 posts later I hope to be running some official forum games right here.
