  1. Why would you give a shotty rockets or a SAW as a loadout? Maybe they work but it really doesnt sound like anyo nn e will pick anything different if they have a primary shotty and secondary rockets. Maybe even out the classes a bit.

  2. Ill be testing this map this afternoon along with another I've been working on called Turbulence. I might need more testers for our TCOJ group so if any friends are online around 4:30 PST, that will be the time to join. I will run a KOTH round with the group and will be interested in testing it some more after the usual group ends as I only get two turns. If anyone wants in, send me a FR and I will invite you if I see you on Halo 4 at the time. Aside from that, if anyone has noticed any problems or areas that need cleaning up, please let me know.

  3. Much better looking now. I think the spawns could still use some work though ;P

    I added respawn zones for flag and away zones. I think I tucked away the regular respawn points away as best I could. I didn't notice any problems while playing on it, but if you did, let me know. I could use some help with this if I do have a problem bc I'm not sure what else I can do.

  4. It's pretty much a new map now. I made major changes to almost everything thanks to the great feedback I received from Squally DaBeanz. I hope you all like the changes and that you get a chance to try it out.

  5. Great feedback squally. I a mm already working on another build and some of your issues have already been resolved. I agree about almost everything and will work some more on it today. I hope to see you online.

  6. It looks awesome. The overbearing green in the map kind of threw me off given the title, maybe stick with more red yellow orange. But that's not a big deal. There are a couple long sightlines that can actually enhance gameplay for certain player, but can also destroy it for others. (The last picture demonstrates most of them.) You did a good job balancing your risk and reward and that was greatly appreciated. Overall it was very enjoyable. :clap:

     

    Thanks for the feedback. I needed to add colors for callouts and if I only used those three, it wouldn't work right. I couldn't use red for bridge (only color that would look right, orange too pastel like) because that is an intermediate zone and I already have blue and red in their respective corners. The green fits pretty good though. Honestly I didn't even really take that into consideration this time. I only had callouts in mind.  Anyway, I added a little cover and some more spawns. I also fixed the trait zone at the lift and removed the one way  shield so you can nade up the lift now. Keep the feedback coming, this is a good weekend for me to spend some time fixing what needs it.

  8. I think you were looking at my first version. I removed the rocks, assault rifles and a row of blocks at spawn zone. I also added a third level and a sniper and rockets. Most changes can be seen from my updated screenshots

  9. Hah, it's all good. After I submitted mine, I found someone else had used it before me, too! Good name, I suppose. Yeah, great map, request me @ TheBloodbath22 if you ever want future testing on your concoctions

     

    I will definitely send you a FR. I am always looking for people to help me test. I really hope people try this map out for highly competitve type matches and leave some feedback on how this one plays. I think this is the best I can do and I hope it shows. If any OG forgers are reading this, please leave some feedback and let me know if this is matchmaking quality. I am dying to create something that will really get noticed and I want to know if this is what you are looking for.

    Sorry. I'd change it, but its one of those names that just felt really right to me. I wouldn't have picked it if I knew someone already had. I really do hope you like it though. Thanks for the feedback.

  12. Thank you for the feedback. I have given players on the ground 4 fully loaded plasma pistols to counter the vehicles. They should be easy enough to find as I think all weapons on the map are. Two replaced the two needlers and the other two are inside the small containers on the other side of the map.

    Yeah Slayer is the ****. Too bad about Jeff Hanneman huh? Anyway after you download it, let me know how you liked it. This was my first map on Forge Island. I have 6 more. Conifer Cove, Updraft, Hidden, Shelter, Passage and Paranoia Hills. I also made a flood version of Shelter which is also in my fileshare. (Way better map in Flood) All are pretty big supporting a player count of 4-12

  14. The fact that you go on for a paragraph on how you think this is the best map ever made makes me sick and now I never want to download it. Years ahead of its time? From the pics it looks like a cool asymmetrical map, but come on dude. Be a little more humble. I want my maps in matchmaking too. The fact that I heard you goin g on and on about how you cant believe 343 didnt pick your map makes you sound like a ........

  15. Nice aesthetics! I like your use of the golf flag things; they look like mushrooms or fungi, I mean, it's great even if you didn't intend them the be mushrooms.

    That is exactly what they are supposed to look like. I don't know if you follow ForgeHub, but there was a discussion about it on my post there.
