  1. I enjoy playing SF X Tekken and I was really looking forward to Tekken X SF, but it's been a long time since I heard of anything on the latter game. Did the deal between Namco and Capcom not go through all the way? Were the sales of SF X Tekken not high enough to justify continuing the crossover? Is it still coming?
  2. I actually didn't know about the Playstation game. Sounds like another lackluster game based on a great TV series.
  3. If a fusion of our ideas could be done, that would be great for a Dukes game. Open world and racing starring the Genral Lee.
  4. I'd make it into a racing game, that would probably be the easiest route to take. I'd have races on roads, off-road as well as stunt and demolition derby races and free-roaming around Hazzard county. Maybe even have some challenges where you try to outrun Sherrif Roscoe. There could even be missions from other Hazzard county residents (i.e deliver something to town, help a driver in distress). Anyone else want to see the General Lee in a game?
  5. I had issue with that myself, but someone at Microsoft was listening and I have been very impressed with how responsive they've been. That was a major factor in my decision to opt for Xbox One over PS 4. Ryse and Dead Rising 3 are looking good and Halo 5 is coming so there are some good exclusives coming to Xbox One.
  6. I'm planning on keeping mine even after I get my XBOX One. I'm a late convert to XBOX 360, I used to be a Playstation fan, and there are a lot of games on XBOX 360 I will no doubt still enjoy playing after I get an XBOX One. Plus Microsoft plans to continue support for XBOX 360 for the nexr few years, so the console still has some life in it. So I've got plenty of time to enjoy my XBOX 360. I'll still be able to play HALO Reach and Combat Evolved Anniversary even after I get HALO 5. I am still hopeful that backwards compatability will be worked out in some fashion, either as a peripheral or in the form of XBOX Live downloads.
  7. Lately, I've been wondering if Sony cut some corners (including ones they should not have cut) in order to make PS 4 less expensive than XBOX One. Any thoughts on this?
  8. The first Kingdom Hearts was a PS 2 exclusive, but Kingdom Hearts III is coming to XBOX One. I'd say the possibility does exist, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting. If the XBOX One version of KH III sees strong enough sales and there is enough demand from the fans, we might see KH 1.5 made for XBOX One (even if it's only a download from XBOX Live) or even KH 2.5 made for XBOX One. I have both a PS 3 and an XBOX 360 and I am getting KH 1.5 when it comes out. But XBOX One looks more appealing to me than PS 4 and there will probably be people getting KH III on XBOX One who never played KH I or II so I think it would be nice if the prior KH games were made available to XBOX fans either as a disc based collection or as downloads.
  9. I'm kind of on the fence deciding if I should get PS 4 or XBOX One and for awhile I was in the PS 4 camp. But I've been looking at how responsive Microsoft has been to concerns from gamers of late and I'm impressed with what they are doing. Another factor is I've been looking at the games coming to the consoles. At least 95% of the games I am interested in are coming to both (i.e. Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XV and Mad Max) but there is one big title that makes XBOX One more appealing and that is HALO. I am a big HALO fan and we know for certain that game will not be on PS 4. Ryse, Quantum Break and Dead Rising 3 also look cool. I like Ratchet and Clank and Hot Shots Golf, but not as much as I like HALO. So it looks like I will be getting XBOX One, but not on Day One. I'll wait until the launch chaos has died down.
  10. I played the very first Mortal Kombat in arcades. I always enjoyed playing MK 1-3 and Ultimate MK 3 but I didn't care for the direction the series took after Ultimate MK 3 (if you haven't played MK vs. DC Universe...don't). I think the new Mortal Kombat is really kool and I'd certainly like to see more games following the reboot. I'm also a long-time Street Fighter fan.
  11. I'd also like to see Mortal Kombat kontinue in the next generation. I was very impressed with how NetherRealm rebooted Mortal Kombat and I am looking forward to more installments. If they have story mode in a new MK, I'd add some more interactivity. Maybe have a few scenes where you kan choose what a kharacter is going to say and have some influence on how the story progresses.
  12. I spell it 'Kanon' myself (depends on the which romanization you prefer) and Kanon is another series I really enjoyed. I was very impressed by the quality of the animation in that anime. Kanon and ARIA are both slice of life anime, ARIA just happens to be on terraformed Mars. If you like Kanon, odds are you will enjoy ARIA .
  13. Glad to see I'm not the only one who wants to see Tekken 7 and Mass Effect 4. As for HALO: REACH 2, I could see that! Not so much a sequel but concurrent with the first HALO: REACH, we see what happened in other parts of Reach (the Covenant did invade the ENTIRE planet after all) while Noble 6 was doing their thing. More games I'd like to see: Final Fantasy XV A new Kingdom Hearts (to incorporate PIXAR, Marvel, Star Wars and Indiana Jones) Dead Rising 3 Resident Evil 7 Parasite Eve 3
  14. Here's a couple games I think would be interesting, but we'll probably never see: Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat Marvel Super Heroes vs. DC Universe
  15. iHere's one I'll bet you haven't seen, ARIA. ARIA takes place on a world called Aqua (terraformed Mars) in a town called Neo-Venezia, a brick by brick replica of Venice. The lead character, Akari, dreams of becoming an Undine (gondolier) and the series follows her and her friends. It's not an action anime, it's a slice of life series (but it does have one unusually suspensful episode). Some episodes are emotionally intense, but even those that are calm and slower paced are enthralling, even if nothing major happens you still can't take your eyes off it. ARIA is also one of the best drawn anime I've ever seen and has a great musical score. Highly recommended.
  16. Here's another onservation. PSN is something of a battle. I always felt like I had to fight the get firmware updates or game downloads. XBOX Live works great. Once I get on to XBL, it's a breeze to download updates, games and game demos (I'm a free member, haven't upgraded to Gold status just yet).
  17. Chuck Norris does not need Kinect, Chuck Norris is THE controller.
  18. Got any XBOX centric Chuck Norris jokes? Post them here! Here's a few to start with: The Master Chief's armor isn't made of metal or ceramic, it's made from Chuck Norris' beard clippings. Chuck Norris doesn't need weapons to fight the Covenant, he just stares at them until they surrender. When the Covenant learned that Chuck Norris exists, the Prophet of Regret changed his name to the Prophet of Just Peed in my Pants! The SPARTAN program's aim was to re-create Chuck Norris. Grunts run from battle because they know that somehow, someway, Chuck Norris is coming for them.
  19. PS3 should actually be the dominant console. It has more power than XBOX 360 and it uses a more advanced format, namely Blu-Ray. PS3 also has some top notch exclusives: God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Turismo. But XBOX 360 dominates and PS3 trails. I think the reason is that Microsoft is doing a much better job of using the XBOX 360's capabilities than Sony is doing. If Sony made better use of the PS3's power, it would be the top selling console (PS3 was a factor in Blu-Ray's success over HD-DVD), but it seems like PS3 has all this power, but Sony doesn't know what to do with it. Microsoft, on the other hand, is doing a superb job of exploiting the capabilities of the XBOX 360. Plus they've got powerhouse exclusives like HALO and Gears of War. There's also XBOX Live and Kinect which Sony does not have. Also, the XBOX Dashboard has much better functionality (and pizazz) that PS3's XMB. I can find what I'm looking for on the XBOX 360 easier than I can on PS3 (I'm a former Playstation fan, BTW). Lastly, I've played some games on both PS3 and XBOX 360 and the graphics look of the same level of quality. The XBOX had greater power than PS2 and there was a noticable difference in the quality of graphics of multi-platform games. Are 51 and X-Men Legends looked much better on XBOX than on PS2, but Final Fantasy XIII-2 looks the same on both consoles. If PS3 is so much more powerful than XBOX 360, the PS3 version should reflect that. The only game I've noticed any real difference between the two versions is that the PS3 version of Street Fighter X Tekken loads a little faster than the XBOX 360 version. So XBOX vs. PS3? I'd say XBOX wins. And XBOX (whatever Microsoft decides to call it) will win over PS4.
  20. Absolutely! I am looking forward to XBOX (insert official name here)! XBOX and XBOX 360 are both great consoles and I think the next gen XBOX will continue that tradition, I'm certainly looking forward to the new HALO games. I won't however, be camped outside of Best Buy three days before console launch, I'll wait a few months for the launch chaos to die down then get my XBOX when they are more plentiful, but I will get it as soon as I can.
  21. Here are a few (actually quite a few) I'm hoping for: HALO 5 HALO 2 HD HALO: ODST 2 HALO RPG (I'd like to see Bioware make this game) Mech-Assault 3 Jade Empire 2 Mass Effect 4 Star Wars KOTOR 3 Star Wars: Rebel Commando (sequel to Republic Commando, set during original trilogy) SEGA Saturn Collection Sakura Wars Collection Atari Flashback Collection Marvel vs. Capcom 4 Capcom vs. SNK 3 Street Fighter V Darkstalkers 4 Tekken 7 Tekken X Street Fighter Epic Mickey 3 And a really good 3D fighter set in the Marvel Universe
  22. Chuck Norris does not need MJONIR armor or weapons to fight the Covenant, he just stands there and waits for them to surrender.
  23. Very interesting ideas! I was trying to come up with some ideas for Halsey myself, I could see susan Sarandon in that role. And I like the ideas of Louis Gosset Jr. and Ving Rhames as Johnson, both would be great in that role. Now if Hollywood would just realize that HALO could be a box office blockbuster.
