  2. Ubisoft has today officially announced that the next Rainbow Six game is now in development, and it's called Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots. Boasting a gripping "dynamic single-player storyline", new missions and online multiplayer modes, Patriots's narrative will look to capture the reality of modern-day terrorism. Yes. “Terrorism has evolved, and so has Rainbow 6. In Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots, all the team play, tactics, and realism that fans of the series love have been coupled with an exciting new narrative direction,” said David Sears, Creative Director at Ubisoft. “This adds an unprecedented level of humanity that will make Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots an extremely tense and immersive experience.” Facing a new threat from the 'True Patriots', Team Rainbow (still no sign of Bungle, Zippy and George) will have to bring down the well-organised, highly-trained and ruthless faction who are intent on reclaiming their country from the American government. Facing critical scenarios, you'll have to make split-second decisions and resolve ethical dilemmas to stop this new breed of terrorist. Boasting co-op and competitive multiplayer, along with its core single-player experience, Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots will be deploying in 2013, with the first details set to feature in the Christmas issue of Official Xbox Magazine on November 30th.
  3. Soul Calibur V, Project Soul is improving every facet of its Character Creation, as demonstrated in this new trailer and accompanying images. Almost every part of your pugilist can now be tweaked and adjusted, whether it's individual limbs, patterns on clothing, stick-on items, pieces of armour or other accoutrements, the level of customisation looks quite impressive, meaning that you'll be able to make even weirder characters. Check out the new Character Customisation trailer for a tongue-in-cheek look at the new options and improvements. Soul Calibur V is out on January 31st, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ayy1AFoQ5Bo&feature=player_embedded
  4. This latest instalment in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 developer diary series takes a look at the new multiplayer game modes and maps you'll find in the game, from the dog tag collecting Kill Confirmed mode to the flag-hogging Team Defender mode. There's also a shedload of customisation options for multiplayer that enable you to tailor games specifically for your own tastes, so if you're not a fan of killstreaks, perks or custom classes, you can disable them in the customisable options menu. You can then share your custom configurations using Call of Duty: Elite. London, Paris and more are also briefly looked at in the video, with multiplayer maps that apparently "flow better" than before. Check out the new video for the lowdown on MW3's new maps and modes, then prepare for war as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches worldwide on November 8th. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZ7ph5rDjkI&feature=player_embedded

  11. MLG Playlist updated: MLG is playing V6 settings at their events, and you should be, too! We’ve updated the MLG list to include new maps and updated gametypes. Yes, we completely skipped the V5 settings, but they were totally lame, anyway. Obviously, because why would there be a V6?! Grifball Playlist updated: Two new maps are making their way into the Grifball list this month: “Hot Bikini Guys Palace,” the home court of their Good Games League summer champions, and “The Exultant Genuflect,” which my 2-in-1 dictionary & thesaurus tells me is a juxtaposition. Yeah, we can get concomitant over here too, y’all. Cliffhanger removed: Cliffhanger has had a long and illustrious career in Reach. Try as we did to hold on to it, it slowly slipped out of our hand and plummeted 4,000 feet to the ground below. A year later, we’re reluctant to venture onto those same hallowed grounds in search of 100,000,000 Good Games. Who would’ve known John Lithgow was laying the groundwork for a villainous story arc on Dexter by threatening Rocky with automatic weapons 16 years earlier? Weightings adjusted in Firefight: More Gruntpocalypse, we’re listening! This Unggoy-only gametype has had its weighting increased, and Unearthed will no longer be your default first voting option. Fret not, though, because Unearthed remains in the lists and is heavily weighted for you Rocket ‘Hog lovers out there. TU Armor Lock adjusted: We’ll be constantly tweaking and updating the settings to Reach’s Title Update. This is the first time since the list’s birth that we’ve turned the knobs in the player-facing world. Weighting of the Zero Bloom Slayer DMRs gametype in the Beta Matchmaking Playlist increased: You wanted moar, and MOAR is what we’re giving ya! Needle Rifle removed from loadouts in the Beta Matchmaking Playlist Slayer Pro gametype: Bloom affects the DMR and Needle Rifle differently, and we’re adjusting the loadout options accordingly. The Needle Rifle will be treated much like the Concussion Rifle: not as a power weapon but as something that you should pay close attention to. This way, you can have your auto-headshot-cannon-cake and eat it too. Firefight Limited removed: Firefight Limited was dying a slow and painful death. It was breaking our hearts, and we just couldn’t stand it another month. Being the playlist-atarians we are, we thought a swift and painless end would be the most humane solution. Soon, Firefight Limited will be in that big hopper in the sky, frolicking population-concern-free alongside Team Classic and Premium Slayer. DLC matching reweighting: Reweighting matching within any DLC playlist so that people with DLC match with other people with DLC on a more frequent basis. *The Anniversary playlists are coming November 15th.We’ll share those details with you as soon as they become available.

  17. stop quitting lol let them go negative, quitters are a disease in gaming
  18. yep its a common problem with infection playlist, zombie quits and a player dies and becomes a zombie, pain in the ass if your doing well. Lets face it though, quitting games seems to be getting worse and worse, dont remember it as much of a problem when playing H3 or Gears 2, now though when playing Reach or Gears 3, quitting seems to happen a lot more, is it the way gaming is going now? then maybe all games should have a quitting ban? or in Reach, if you quit you get minus 10,000cR.
  19. living dead is bad for cR, its just good for k/d ratio. Invasion / Firefight are good ones for cR Plus go for the challenges, there decent cR payouts since 343 took over.
  20. im still playing on a launch console and playing Reach, and using Kinect so the problem isnt generic across the board.
  21. exactly what bullet said, i use the mobile site on my phone at work, click on the subject itself and it takes you to the last page you viewed, if you click anywhere on that line it takes you to the first page, well thats what I have noticed anyway. I use a WP7 phone (samsung)
