Hi Reddog23, the warn status under your name, is solely for you, you wont see other peoples as its basically hidden from everyone else its for your eyes only, basically if you do anything wrong, ie, constant abuse, harrassment, spamming etc, then the warn status will be raised. Its a friendly forum, and to be honest I cant remember the last time I actually used it. So dont give it a second thought, if it were to be increased the the moderator who raised the warn status also pm's the member so they are aware of what the issue/problem was, and on the other hand it can also be decreased as we all have bad days lol. hope this helps, and i've moved it to the General Discussion thread.

343 Industries' Halo Franchise Director, Frank O' Connorm has been discussiing all things Halo CEA this week, First, he spoke about how well the 3D works in Anniversary. "It's a bonus of how we render, because there's actually two engines running simultaneously. It's one of the things the buffer lets us do, is really good 3D without any performance hit. If this had cost us anything in terms of performance, we wouldn't have spent any time trying to make it work, because the number of people with 3D TVs is still vanishingly small... but this has kind of changed my mind," O'Connor explained. "Most of the TVs that are being made now support 3D in some way, so you'll just have it. But 3D will always be like 5.1 where it will be an added value rather than a necessary aspect." Frank then went on to talk about the re-orchestrated score for Halo: CE Anniversary, which will be "richer deeper and more textured" he says. “Speaking of 5.1, we remastered all the audio, so all of the weapon effects have been re-done, all the explosions have been re-done and we've re-recorded all of the music with the Skywalker orchestra at Lucasfilm. It’s the same score, but it has been re-orchestrated so it sounds much richer, deeper and more textured.” Frank also revealed that the Halo: CE Anniversary soundtrack will receive a limited release on vinyl, which will give DJs the chance to drop some Halo beats into their sets to get the clubs banging. “And because this is a retro release, we're actually going to release the soundtrack on vinyl for the first time. Not a lot of them, but there'll be something like 5000 of them, as there's actually a weird amount of demand for that.” -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frank O'Connor has also spoke about that halo CEA will feature a host of hidden Easter Eggs to unearth, boiling down to one terminal per level to discover, which will reveal entirely new, secret story details. "There's a bunch of Easter Eggs hidden in this game and loads of extra things we've hidden. We decided we wanted to add some story for people who've played the game over and over again, who are going to want a new experience," Frank explained. "We've used terminals, which we first started in Halo 3, to hide bits of story, but we've decided to make it a bit more approachable, less dry and much more integrated into the Halo 1 story." Apparently, these terminals will be more than just Easter Eggs though. "So the terminals, apart from adding story, are integral to the gameplay and you can use the classic switch mode (switching between classic Halo 1 and Anniversary) to try and find them," said Frank. "And there's one hidden on each level." Frank then went on to tell more about the job 343 Industries is doing in remastering Halo: CE. "We re-did all of the cinematics and all of the motion-capture has been re-done for the cinematics, there's new camera angles and we're using slightly more sophisticated storytelling to redo the originals." So there you go a bit for info from the man himself and dont forget Halo CEA is out 15th November. thats just 39 days away.

It was about this time last year that we were reporting that Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks Studios could eventually be making a Halo movie a reality, with the franchise wrapped in a huge tangle of red tape preventing it from getting off the ground. It was speculated then, that DreamWorks might resort to using a Halo novelisation as a jumping off point for a movie, and a new report today suggests that may once again be the case. Apparently, a Halo movie backed by Spielberg and DreamWorks could be in the offing for 2012. "A film adaptation is set for 2012. It will be conducted jointly by two heavyweights of American cinema: Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks.", Eurogamer reported. This would appear to be a strong suggestion that if indeed there is a Halo movie in the pipeline for 2012, then it'll be based on the Halo: Cryptum novel by Greg Bear, the first book in the Forerunner Saga. That's the rumour, so all that's left to do now is wait and see if anything comes to fruition, and let's just hope it doesn't fizzle out like Neil Blomkamp and Peter Jackson's planned Halo movie project did. Could there be an announcement at the New York Comic-Con soon? Stay tuned.
