    yeah there is a sorcerer class, the classes are Dragon knight which is melee with some cool spells, templar which is a tank/healer class, nightblade which is stealth DPS, and sorcerer which is magic dps, in addition to the classes there are a few different weapons which have their own abilities, the weapons are sword and shield, dual sword, two handed, bow, destruction staff and restoration staff. then you got heavy, medium and light armor, and any class can use any weapon so you can be a sorcerer with a sword and shield or a dragon knight with a staff lol

    in eso you dont need an open hand to cast spells, you can cast them with a sword and shield if you wanted, if you want to be a battlemage style character, i recommended a dragon knight, they are good in close quarters and they have some ranged spells, you can even go all mortal kombat scorpion and shoot a chain out your wrist to drag your opponent to you lol

    for race i can't really help you cause i dont know their traits, i only played as a breton. i will say breton is a solid choice for pvp because of their magicka regeneration and resistance, seeing as a good amount damage comes from spells, so the resistances helps and the regeneration lets you launch more quicker.

    my question is are you or did you pre order it? because if you didnt your faction is locked which which race you pick, if you pre ordered you can use any race with any faction

    Well lets see, you say this incarnate of the dominion isnt like the skyrim version but i beg to differ, look at this quote from it's leader. condesending towards human? check, believe that elves are superior? check, wants to rule over humans because it's their right? check, sounds like the same dominion to me. The Ebonheart pact has good intentions but the factions dont get along very well, they are only helping each other cause of a greater threat, and while they are tough customers, you dont rule with brawn you rule with brains. The Daggerfall covenant, like you said they seek to restore trade route, and while it may not sound like the best goal it is a very important one, without trade routes, armies can't get the supplies they need to fight, citizens can't get nessicary things to survive and kingdoms will fall. So trade routes are the life blood of all nations, Plus with the brains of the Bretons, the combat prowess of the Redguard and the smithing skills if the Orc, that makes them in my opinion the most balanced of the 3 factions. if you couldnt tell i prefer the covenant myself, they are simply put the best faction out of the 3, plus my second favorite race part of it lol the bretons, imperials are my favorite but they dont belong to a particular faction

    Gravity hamer becacuse of everything cooliest said, and energy sword is a total noob weapon, anybody can be good with it, like tucker on red vs blue said "whats so hard about swish swish stab", the grav hammer actually requires skill to effectively use
