    I...honestly don't believe that last part. It can't be true. No one playing Halo from the beginning would call the Assault Rifle the Auto Rifle, or be a stranger to it being weak. This Assault Rifle is the strongest one ever to show up. Automatic weapons are meant to be outdone by precision weapons in Halo, because precision weapons take more skill to aim. Also, complex designs do not detract from gameplay. They can't affect the mechanics at all. They just make things look different. Many people, myself included, think that looks better. There is a point of overcomplexity, but Halo 5's designs are way far from it.

    There is literally only one thing in this beta that suggests a similarity to COD, and that argument's invalid through and through. The Smart Scope looks like COD's ADS mechanic. And it doesn't make Halo 5 like COD in the slightest way because it doesn't work the same way.

    Issues like this are the point of a beta. Betas expose imbalance and glitches. 343 should fix them completely before the game even comes out. That's what the entire purpose of this is after all.

    Locke's already an established character with a face, voice, and personality, and he's even shown up in live action. He's also been shown as a Spartan in the post-Halo 4 cutscenes included with the MCC, and to allow customization would make everything I just mentioned inconsistent. Sorry, not a great idea, or even a workable one.

    You can change the topic name by using the full editor. It also helps to capitalize the first letter and use proper grammar in your post. Anyway, we aren't 343i, just a fansite, so we can't do anything about this problem. Though the spawns are the same as they've always been in each game. I'm guessing you're playing CE, which has always had a terrible spawn system. Is that the case?

    No no no, go back and read it. Voting Ash made you look like a Mafian, or "intentionally aiding the enemy team". Voting Grif got some suspicion off your back. My statement about "intentionally aiding the enemy" after you voted Grif was in reference to your earlier vote, not your vote for Grif. And then you voted Sarge instead, which again makes you look like Mafia or a Protown aiding the enemy.

    So, the Mafians are everyone who voted Sarge minus the Director, who we all know is the Sniper.

    It is not a matter of clarity. I don't care if you're trying to please the bloody Gravemind, the fact is you cannot aid the enemy team. Make sure you're a neutral before you try to act like one.

    Not caring is never an excuse for anything. You've taken some suspicion off yourself by changing your vote to Grif. But trolling in that manner is literally against the rules. It's intentional, and aids the enemy.

    Yep. They'd have to start reviewing everyone on a case by case basis if they did this. That's even if you could get their attention at all, in the sea of nonsense that floods Waypoint like a plague now. As Arbiter said earlier, we aren't actually 343i, just a fansite. This is a great place to discuss Halo, with a much better community than Waypoint, but if you want 343i to see your post, this isn't the place. Though it's nice to see someone with a calm demeanor and some good sense. Though I have to say, you really should have just played it. The game didn't have a virus or anything, you couldn't have messed up your Xbox One with it.

    And yet you voted Ash. You were confirmed innocent before, but now I think you're the brainwashed Mafian. Change your vote to Grif. No one is exempt from being automatically tagged as a Mafian if they vote otherwise.

    Knew Blake would do that. Vote GRIF. He is CONFIRMED Mafia. Anyone who votes otherwise shall be considered Mafia on the spot. Anyone who has voted otherwise and does not change their vote to Grif shall likewise be considered Mafia.

    If you played for even a second on Easy at all, you have to complete the whole game from start to finish on Normal or higher, AFTER whenever you played on Easy. This "clears" the Easy status off of your campaign, and allows the skull to spawn. If you completed the whole game on Legendary, then started a game on Easy and played for one second then just left, you would have to complete the whole game all over again on any difficulty other than Easy to make it spawn.

    Yeah, being the sniper is awesome. I practically got to decide the fate of last game with the power of neutrality and a sniper rifle with ammo so scarce, it takes me three rounds to find a single round for it. It's a true privilege.

    So when discussing this section in the Shoutbox, I've found that a lot of people have trouble with this section on Legendary. It's easy to understand why--the whole section is brutal! And it doesn't even have any Brutes! Anyway, through experimentation I found a good tactic that doesn't seem to be in the walkthroughs you can find on Youtube. Naturally I wanted to share it with anyone having problems here. I have no recording equipment, so my guide was presented in horribly drawn comic form.     Glad to see you're enjoying it! It really does help to make posts like this. People are quick to complain when they don't like something, but not quite so eager to praise what they do like.
