  1. Well, we aren't a site of baseless complainers, now are we people? Don't worry Locke, you should find plenty of quality discussion here. Welcome to the forums.
  2. More pretty screenshots, this time with a nice reveal too! Yep, it's back! Now let's take a look at what they've done with Halo CE, 3, and 4! Feels odd having Halo 3 the least graphically impressive, eh? Halo 4 doesn't look quite so fake on the XB1! And now, enjoy more H2A stuff! Heh. Lucky he's not on Legendary, isn't he? And to think, here we were, not so long ago...
  3. Well, resolution took a slight hit, but it's still loads better than what we have now! Still pumped...and I actually wish I were a little less pumped since I don't know if I can even get it.
  4. Well, with H2A coming out, with fully remastered Arby missions plus an awesome new character model...scratch that, TWO, since there's the cutscene model and the gameplay model... I'd say 343's doing just that.
  5. Honor Guard Armor should be an achievement unlock, not something to drive a wedge between old and new fans of the series. It's best to make things possible to earn from the moment you learn of them, rather than nearly inaccessible to a certain group. And this is coming from someone who has played those games, minus ODST.
  6. No word on Halo 5 having them yet, but the Arbiter spoke to Agent Locke in a trailer, so there's some hope for them! Besides, the MCC brings back Elites for MP, and it looks like it's got customization. So go out and get yourself an XB1...I know I want to.
  7. Frags have a bigger blast range and can be bounced into areas without a line of sight. However, if you need to throw them right at the ground, you have a very small chance of actually getting the target. Plasmas have a smaller blast range but stick to enemies, and will not bounce if thrown directly at the ground. Pulse Grenades aren't really for direct kills, more for support, distractions, or area denial. Still useful under the right circumstances, which aren't exactly rare. Overall, the Plasma suits my general purposes best.
  8. I don't see what's so impossible about the Didact taking weapons and putting them in an armory. He has the Covenant serving him, so it's probably intended for their use. Specifically by Brutes if he can gain their allegiance. Or maybe without the Prophets, the Covenant no longer have any issue with using other races' weapons, and it's for the Elites.
  9. So I checked Waypoint again, and I found some pics that definitely weren't there last time. Once again, too many new stuff to post them all, so I picked the ones I thought were the best. So, first two multiplayer shots. "Church ain't got nothin' on me." "Best watch yer back mate." Now campaign stuff.
  10. That shot of the Spartan looking up to the sky looks amazing. I can imagine players stopping to stare at that and getting killed while distracted. Hey, maybe that's what happened to red team here!
  11. The circumstances where a Suppressor can win against a SAW rarely actually come up in multiplayer sessions. Maybe it's not quite as inferior as we thought, but it's still so greatly inferior that it's not a viable option.
  12. I don't think emulating Counter-Strike is a good idea at all. I found that mechanic stupid there, and Halo 5 doesn't need to go around causing the outrage that Halo 4 did. We don't need to do major overhaul changes in Halo. The degree of change between the previous games in the series is good.
  13. So you guys may remember my Optimus Prime drawing. Well, now I made another drawing. "Autobots, we charge together! Now roll out!" As always, comments would be much appreciated.
  14. I have a modification for that too. Attacker slashes enemy in the back, so the enemy turns around. The attacker then holds the Brute Shot parallel to his body while jamming the blade upward into the enemy's neck...then fires one shot so the recoil pulls the blade up through the enemy's face.
  15. These three. They are genius. The Bulldog should involve a front flip while grabbing their head, to make it more impressive and forceful when they slam down. The grunt assassination is the best. By far.
  16. That Spiker idea is genius. You could also impale them with the spikes from behind, on both sides of their back, then twist the weapon for a spine break. The second one already exists in the form of a Sparta Kick assassination in Reach, lol. ...Ok, that is a way better Fotus idea.
  17. I got a modification of your idea, Jack. Grab a Plasma Grenade from the enemy player's supply, activate it, and slam it onto his face hard enough to knock him down. That way he can't chase you, and he flails blindly until BOOM! Now here are a few more ideas. -Fotus returns and has a face impalement headbutt assassination. -Take deactivated Energy Sword handle, press it against enemy's back or neck, THEN turn it on. -Use shaft of Gravity Hammer to launch enemy up, then spin around and bat him away. He dies instantly, and if you're in an open map, he flies out of the map. If you're in a tight space, he ricochets all over the walls. -Assassinate Hunters like in Halo: FUD using a grenade. This should only be available on higher difficulties though, so that the higher intelligence of the AI prevents it from being too easy to kill Hunters.
  18. Banned in celebration of this becoming the largest topic in Offbeats!
  19. I can't say how good the gameplay is since I haven't played, but do not play it unless you can resist addicting games easily. One of my friends got into it a few months ago and has never been the same since. Almost all his time is consumed by League, he can only manage a proper conversation once every 3 weeks or so.
  20. No need to delete it, it's not offensive to that degree. Still want a proper drawing though.
  21. I think that was the most I've ever said in Optimus Prime's voice in one day.

  22. LOL the ending of this week's RWBY episode.
