Foreman Zandril led the project, resulting in the hasty completion of a new elementary school, police precinct, fire station, and a much needed regional hospital. Current residents are excited to see additional members join the community. "A lot of us on the force just recently got over the excitement of having a larger precinct, but now we get two? The mayor's spoiling us policemen!" Sergeant Drizzy_Dan told the 343i Bulletin. "With our second precinct, we've started to form a K9 unit. So far we only have one dog, but he's an excellent asset to the force, and is really good at what he does. We named him GSD. It stands for German Shepherd, because... well, he's a German shepherd." DoctorB77 talked briefly about the new hospital. "This hospital has all the latest equipment, and has a capacity of just under 5,000 patients. Now we can make more potent and safe medication with bathmat fungi instead of relying on mortar and pestle or running things over with cars to crush ingredients. I must commend the foreman for making the old-fashioned exterior possible." Expansion has also started on the northern end of the city. With new zones in place, houses and mansions have started to appear along Jiralhanae Street and North Shore Boulevard. Empty lots on the Stig Boulevard are slowly being filled with shops and offices. Monster Rumours Afoot Afoot Afoot Afoot Potential buyers staying in the new block have reported seeing an unknown creature roaming the woods. The reports of the monster's appearance differ, with some details lacking consistency. However, many state that it exceeded ten feet in height, had four legs, and was purple in appearance. Many also state that it was capable of firing a brilliant pink beam of energy, and walked like a spider. "It totally exists! I saw it with my own two eyes! The government's trying to cover something up, man!" Caboose the Ace explained. "I call it Delpen. The name's based off the sound it makes when it walks. Saw a coyote running around in the distance, and it fried the thing with an insanely bright laser! It's aliens, man, it has to be!" Azaxx, a new recruit in the city's police force, is skeptical of such a creature existing. "It's preposterous. No such thing can exist here. We'd hear it stomping around if it did exist. Besides, you can't trust these nighttime reports. For all we know, what people think is a giant quadriped could actually be a beckoning zebra or a Slenderman." Mayor Maestro could not be reached for comment. The United New Species Catchers, or UNSC, is offering a $1,000 reward for retrieving evidence of the creature's existence, and a $100,000 reward for its capture.
  2. And now I can't make it. I've got plans this Saturday. DX So if anyone wanted to join the playdate but couldn't, you can have my spot.
  3. Unbesiegt - Equilibrium
  4. Dance of Death - Iron Maiden
  5. Particle Man - They Might Be Giants
  6. To celebrate a year of me being here, I've got a present for you! Would you believe I finally took a stab at making a Slayer map? I know, I can't believe it either... the Minigame Man making a Slayer map? Well, there will be an updated version coming up with weapons placed around the map. But for now, I have some ordnance in place. I call it... SYNERGETIC RS About the map itself... I didn't want to build a sprawling flat Slayer map, so I built a tall one instead. The structure is composed of four floors, with two initial spawn points per floor except the top floor. This map is designed for 2-6 players, meaning it's great for FFA or a small squad-on-squad brawl. On the bottom floor, you can find two jetpacks. It is symmetrical in its layout, with a multitude of directions to go between floors. There will be at least two routes up and two routes down, unless you're on the top or bottom floors. And of course, there are also shortcuts to be used by those who use jetpacks or use good ol' gravity to reach paths on other floors. Just remember that it's not the fall that'll kill you, it's the landing. Since this was initially designed with the Minigame Toolkit, the strut pieces between the station core pieces and the railing beside the holes to the bottom floor will show up in regular Slayer. When played with the Minigame Toolkit, they will not show up. These strut pieces prevent players from getting crushed between the rotating bars on the cores and the railing. If you remove those struts, you will die. The automated turrets in this picture have since been removed due to a lack of functionality in gametypes outside of Dominion. Also, grenades spawn in ordnance form surrounding the atrium seen here. The name itself refers to the name of the original map, Synergy. Synergy's an incomplete team battle map where one player on each team is capable of controlling a large bridge to enable your teammates to get to weapon caches, or to prevent the enemy from heisting your flag. Instead of finishing Synergy, I made the static map Synergetic. The top floor is sparse in cover due to the presence of a power weapon or powerup. In this version, a Damage Boost or an Overshield will appear in the middle of the glass circle. As for the RS in the name, that stands for... REDNECK SELECTION. That's right, if you went to my birthday bash back in February to witness the creation of the Redneck Selection gametype, this map is fully compatible with it! So dust off yer shotguns an' scattershots, tune yer banjos, and get huntin'!

One year today? Well then congratulations buddy! Happy anniversary!

  8. You could always join playdates around here! We aren't jerks in game. And Grifball is always a gong show. It's one of the easiest gametypes to abuse thanks to betrayal and spawn-killing galore, but excellent for getting Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer commendations.
  9. Brutes in Halo 3 are pretty fun to fight. They appear in all different types and each one has their own strengths and weaknesses. Plus if you have IWHBYD active, they say funny things.
  10. It would be nice to see a beefed up Scarab, since the Halo 2 Scarab didn't get much usage other than roaming around New Mombasa and on Installation 05, and the Halo 3 Scarabs just stood in place and spun in circles to try and hit you. Halo 2's was much scarier thanks to the hordes of Elites aboard.
  11. What's with Vancouver and its strange university abbreviations? First I apply at SFU and now I'm applying at Cap U. ._.

I doubt Snoop Thing is capable of applying at any university.

Snoop Lion can never compare to Snoop Dogg. Snoop Lion sounds weird.

  12. 10PM, hmm? I may show up at 10:30, but we'll see how my timing works out.
  13. I'd be more than glad to tell people what the S and F stand for in SFU, but I don't think people would like it.

  14. As it turns out, I have ALL THE SATURDAYS OFF for the next three weeks. So I will be there! And so will my awful Duke Nukem voice. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
  15. The Swedish edition of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was pretty well done. That's the only foreign film I remember watching since... well, since I was born.
  16. Ha ha, Drizzy, nice April Fool's joke. Now where's the real wrap-up?
  17. Actually, the answer is aliens.
  18. *arbitrary Illuminati response* Also, three conspiracy threads... Half-Life 3 confirmed.
  19. I found that article about the Xbox One's release date most informative! Now I need to remember to wait in line at the midnight release four months ago.
