  1. For Halofight 2, there should be a separate signup thread and action thread. I found that reading through this, it was a mess of action posts and signup sheets, which made following the action tougher than it should have been. Also, when a new round starts, make it a lot noticeable such as typing in a different colour, different font size, etc. Perhaps you could appear as some sort of all-knowing overlord that is invincible?
  2. Instead of debating why you think Playstation is the superior console in a sensible manner, you take out your frustration with Microsoft out on members who had no part in the construction of your faulty Xboxes? Ah, I see. You're a troll.
  3. "I call that one a church house creeper." Heck yes I saw Bad Grandpa! It's hilarious! XD
  4. It's unfortunate that your 360 hard drive got corrupted, so you moved onto Sony. That's fine, to each their own. But, is there really a need to claim that you're superior for preaching "Sony master race" and bash other members for not having any issues with their Xboxes? And furthermore, if you don't like Microsoft, then why is your profile picture one of their most iconic characters?
  5. I used to watch a bunch of anime, but I stopped almost 6 years ago since no TV stations air it anymore. Any series that were still showing at that started a long time ago, so I couldn't get into them... and I just lost interest. My favourite series is Trigun, by far... as if you couldn't guess by looking at my profile.
  6. Controversial or not, it's a topic that people need to be reminded about. Depression is a silent killer; it eats away at a person on the inside, yet they're all smiles on the outside to cover that up. And without any sort of help, they will end up on the verge of suicide... or beyond it. It affects millions of people, and takes the lives of those we love. That's why increasing awareness of this issue and encouraging people to get help are the best courses of action for everyone to follow. If you know someone who is depressed, and you don't do anything to help, you may end up losing them too... help now, while you still can.
  7. I don't know that feeling. But from what I hear, it's no fun. Which site award is the most coveted of them all?
  8. Didn't Bungie instill fear in the player in Reach by making the Elites overpowered? I hated fighting any sort of Elites because they were ridiculously strong in that game, and there were very few methods to counter a sword Elite. Gravity Hammer? Only appears when Brutes are in the level. Plasma Grenade? Only takes their shields down IF you're lucky enough to stick them, but that's nearly impossible thanks to their ninja-like reflexes. Shotgun? Pfft, doesn't even faze them. A roaring Zealot would be scary, no doubt about it, especially in a situation where you're unarmed. You have to outwit the Zealot, or make sure that he can't find you no matter what. But once you find a weapon, it's payback time. It's all about how they're integrated into campaign. Spamming invincible Elite monsters everywhere was NOT a good way to integrate Elites into Halo, as shown in Reach. In Halo 4 they're more realistic: strong offense, but lacking somewhat in defense and unable to score one-hit kills with a melee that has an outrageously large hitbox. In Halo 2, they're strong but you can bash their teeth out no problem if you can get close enough... unless they have a sword. Then you're doomed.
  9. Burrowing owl! Or any bird without wings. Are Kit-Kats awesome?
  10. I believe the answer is "yes". Who destroyed Ardent's couch?
  11. It seems like instead of jump scares, games are trying to give you constant goosebumps or just make things tense. While both are good to have, jump scares are the best. Halo 4 used tension too much, what with the Didact constantly scanning things and his spooky sphere doing... nothing. :/ The best source of jump scares are indie horror games like Amnesia or Slender, which then transform into goosebumps and fear. The moment you hear the door break down in Amnesia for the first time and you see some hideous creature enter the room, you're like "Oh God what is that thing?!" And then it starts to chase you... and you're defenseless... I don't think that Halo will have many jump scares anymore, since the Flood has been and gone, and the Covenant are not that scary. The Prometheans have already been introduced, limiting their potential to be used as a jump scare element in the future.
  12. And yet, their stock price is back to previous values after taking a dive for two weeks. People are so quick to criticize yet are reluctant to report that things are back to normal.
  13. Thanks to me, there's one less stoner in this town huffing laughing gas. *beams with pride*

  15. There is nothing to conspire about. Resume your life as normal, presidential candidate.
  16. Gah, it's tough picking a university when there are a few dozen in this province alone!

Good thing I'm not looking in the US for post-secondary. I'm also trying to stay in my home province, as that will allow me to use my scholarships I earned in high school. If I were to go to elsewhere in the country, I wouldn't be able to use them.

  17. There is nothing to fear. Resume living your life as normal.
  18. Darn, I thought it was a funny way of showing confusion. Ah well. This is one of the strangest glitches I've seen in Halo 4, though. In Reach, if you can get on top of the farm building where the radar blip appears, you can see a tiny Skirmisher used to create said blip. And if this were a part of some sort of challenge or special Spartan Ops event, 343 would've announced it. The strange thing is that it's been happening for over a year. I did a bit of research, and there are topics reporting this same thing dating back to November of 2012, when the game was released. All of the pages I looked at say that this glitch only happened in Episode 3.
  19. Pretty much the same answer that everyone else in this thread said: Midnight. The music gets you pumped, there's a lot of action, and you're ramped up to kick the Didact's butt!
  20. It's like taking candy from a baby...

  21. 7.5, but because half a Spartan does not make sense, they do not attempt to stop the earth for 8 Spartans will make it spin in reverse. How many Spartans does it take to debunk conspiracies?
