As you may or may not have heard, I announced a minigame playdate a little while back called Maestro's Merry Minigames, or MMM for short. The Dumb Marine announced a playdate also, a couple weeks before I announced MMM. And just recently, Edward Kenway/Omega stated that he too had a playdate in the works. Since fate has decided that MMM, the Dumb Marine's Holiday Playdate, and Edward's playdate would fall upon the same day, Bnus suggested that we merge the first two playdates. After a long conference filled with much deliberating, negotiating, discussions, and the signing of treaties, we have come up with... WE MERGED 'EM INTO MMEMMM! So now we have one massive playdate in store for everyone! The Dumb Marine will be kicking off the playdate with every gametype under the sun in Halo 4, I'll keep the fun rolling with minigames from throughout cyberspace, and Edward will wrap things up with some Halo Reach, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Halo Wars! Here are the important details: TIME AND DATE: 9am-9pm PST, December 21st GAMES: Halo 4 for the Dumb Marine's Kickoff and Maestro's Minigames, Reach + GTAV + Halo Wars for Edward's Wrap Party DLC: Forge Island (it's a freebie if you haven't got it already!) MIC: Preferred but not required Holiday Spirit MANDATORY Here's what will be on tap for this massive playdate: The Dumb Marine's Kickoff: Dominion, Team Slayer, Infection (Reach Variant), Community, Oddball, Extraction, Capture The Flag, Basic Flood (Halo 4 Variant), Regicide, FFA, and King of The Hill Maestro's Minigames: Mini Slayer at Portal Tower, Hockey at Kappital Imperial Stadium, Convoy King and/or Flood at Holy Gamelon Route 666, Convoy King at Koridai, Race at Holy Gamelon Indy 666 and Longbow 500 [CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS] ...among other minigames! If you have any other minigames to add to the roster, speak up! Edward's Wrap Party: Infection & Hunger Games on Halo Reach, Grand Theft Auto V, and Halo Wars So get suited up in your snow gear, prepare for fun and games and jokes and laughter and good times, and let's get this sled rollin'!

It saddens me that we never had any extended interactions, and what makes it even worse is that we won't have that chance again in the foreseeable future. The 343i Forums have lost one of their best. This thread alone, and what everyone has said about you is a testament to your legacy. Perhaps someday you will return. But in the meantime, I'll see you starside, Absolute Dog... sir. I'd post a Doge picture, but it just doesn't seem appropriate for this situation. Instead, all I can offer is this.

Even then in Halo 4, you aren't able to understand what they're saying, whether you're playing as the Chief or not. I prefer it when the Covenant say funny things when they're trembling in fear of their impending doom rather than babbling incomprehensible gibberish.

Thought about it briefly, but I haven't asked him yet. Consolidating them would allow for more players and more fun times to be had.

And I've got the company Christmas party that night. So it's probably for the best that it's on the 21st, but then I have the Dumb Marine's playdate to compete against.

If we get one more participant, then MMM is a go! I'm aiming for at least ten, but six would allow some smaller minigames, such as Portal Tower which is built for a maximum of eight people, to be played no problem!

Behold, additional news! In regards to the [CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS] I have in the works, I will reveal that the Race gametype will be played at least once in all of the maps that are under construction. Flood and Forgeball will also be featured as well. Slayer will not get much screen time, and Regicide and Dominion will not be played at all. These gametypes are more competitive, and this event is geared towards having a good time, joking around and laughing like ninnies in our mics while others in the house are wondering "What the heck are they laughing at?!" Also, I have two new maps under construction just for this event! I'm sure that one of them will make you laugh when played in conjunction with its appropriate gametype. The framework is all done on the structures, and now I need to add some decor and the technical bits like spawn points. Anyways, be sure to RSVP and vote for a time!

343 day sounds pretty cool. But will it top Bungie Day? The second wallpaper posted reminds me of A New Hope's theatre poster. Also, anyone else notice that Palmer's shield meter is depleted in the comic sample? XD

Behold, news! I got my schedule today for the next two weeks. Although it's unfortunate financially that I'm being bumped down to three days a week for some reason, it is a nice windfall socially! More specifically, of all the days I have off coming up, I have ALL THE SATURDAYS OFF. So, that's where you, the participants, can not only add to the mini game roster, but decide when said roster will be played! Here are your choices: -1pm on December 14th (can't host it at night because of the company Christmas party) -1pm or 7pm on December 21st Remember that all times listed are in the Pacific timezone [uTC-8], so calculate your local time accordingly. There's a good chance that you're ahead of me if you live anywhere in North America except for Alaska and Hawaii.

The date will be announced before December 8. I'll get my new schedule for the next three weeks by then.

This doesn't surprise me. Halo's always been a seller of Xbox consoles, so why break the streak now? I bet Microsoft probably has a special edition Xbox One in the works right now to go along with Halo 5.
