UPDATE V3 will have the following - A lot more initial spawn markers - A new weapon and vehicle marker pack - Gauss Hog and Rocket Hog markers - Markers for Overshield, Damage Boost, Speed Boost I'm currently trying to add initial spawn markers for Flood mode. * If anyone has any further suggestions, let me know so that I can look into it before releasing V3.

  3. Yes. Color the center of the map and any other key points of the map that don't have a unique structure or anything else to differentiate them.

  6. Alright. I found images for the Rocket and Gauss Hog. So you can expect them in the v3.
  7. That's just the thing. Many players (myself included) don't like feeling cramped/trapped. But it's your map. So do what you want. * Where are the weapons in the map? Could you provide a marked overview pic? You can use THIS to help make the marked overview.
  8. Is the center accessible? I've seen many maps similar to this where players can only move around in a circular manner. It didn't play so well because this limits the movement options that players can have and they end up just running long distances to get to a certain point in the map. This makes for some boring gameplay IMO. I suggest moving the map to a place where there would be center movement so that players will have enough options and paths to take. * What are the weapons,powerups, and vehicles in the map?   9. The map looks quite crowded. I also suggest removing or replacing those 1x1 flats in the map. They come off as lazy cover and you should try to place cover there that would fulfill the same purpose but would fit better with the rest of the map. The structure in the fifth image look very weird and cluttered (The structure to the left). It looks like you just slapped on a bunch of pieces together. I can't give you gameplay feedback 'cause I haven't downloaded the map yet. So I'll give this a download once I can.

  11. You need to embed the other screenshots. Almost no one will click on the link you provided just to view your map's pictures. Just use Photobucket. It's not that hard.
  12. I haven't seen a thread like this posted here yet so I decided to make one. You know you love Halo when...you buy all the books, join all the forums related to it, get every Halo poster you find, still play Halo 3 regularly, have a Remember Reach shirt, and a Halo 2 Slurpee cup.
  13. I disagree. Change is a good thing. It can be good for video games too if executed properly. Those games you mentioned are an example of poor execution of change by the developers. If they didn't change anything about Halo since Halo CE, do you think people would be happy? Of course not. They'd be crying about it and begging for new stuff. The problem with Halo 4 is 343 added so many new stuff to it that weren't really necessary (Default sprint, and ordnance are examples) that the game didn't feel like Halo anymore. It felt like COD. So I guess what I'm trying to say is if 343 makes the right changes to Halo 5 like bringing into it what people loved in Halo 3 and previous Halo games, then Halo 5 could be good. They just need to listen to what the community wants so as to avoid another disaster like Halo 4.

  17. Well, hello there sexy layout. The map looks amazing dude. LOOKS, mind you. I don't know how it plays. Once I can, I'll give it a DL so I can run a game on it.
  18. Shade turrets are there. But I may have difficulty with the Rocket and Gauss Hogs. The source images I used come from Waypoint and so far, there's no image for the other two Warthogs. But I'll try to come up with something.
  19. Sexy looking map. Loving all the height variations Could you post an overview picture? It'll help me and any others who would look at your map know the map's layout a little better. You could use THIS to help for an informative overview picture.
  20. From the screenshots, I see some long sightlines. I'd also suggest having better cover on the ground. Don't just use trees. They're not the most effective cover. Try to come up with a structure that'll be better cover than the trees. Not saying that you should remove all the trees. Just remove some of them (frankly, I think this map has too many) and put some better cover on the ground so that it's not just trees and crates. I also suggest flipping those bridges so that players can drop down easier if they wish.
  21. I hate Erosion. The map looks good though. I'll give you better feedback than "it looks good" once I play on it. I'll give it a DL.
  22. Read the title carefully. Did I say that Halo 4 is the laggiest game ever? No. I said that the video is of the laggiest game OF Halo 4 that I played.
