Ethereal v3 is a symmetric 1v1 / 2v2 map. Map name: Ethereal v3 Recommended number of players: 2-4 Supported gametypes: KOTH, Oddball, Slayer, Infinity. Changes: - Instead of 1x1 blocks in the middle, I put huge pillars for better cover. - I replaced most wall coliseums with window coliseums to let much more light in. - Instead of Ordnance drops, I put Classic weapon spawns since the map isn't even that big. - Colored some pieces for more variation. - Added more aesthetic vehicles that can be viewed by looking out of certain windows. - The initial spawn area for both teams is no longer unnecessarily big. I also added more cover in this part of the map. In this map, there are two bases. The sides of the map are also different from one another. One has a curved room which is where the Sticky Detonator spawns. And the other side is where the Overshield spawns. There is also a middle bridge that has the Railgun spawn. Weapon/Powerup List: - 2x Sniper Rifle - 1x Railgun - 1x Sticky Detonator - 1x Overshield - 2x DMR - 2x Battle Rifle - 8x Frag Grenade - 4x Plasma Grenade SCREENSHOTS That's pretty much it. WATERWAY IS A SYMMETRICAL 4V4 MAP. Of course, there are wall coliseums placed slightly below the water so that they cannot be seen but are still high enough so that players can "walk on water". There are two bases and a center structure. There are also multiple ways to get to both the center structure and the two bases. There are also two structures in the left-mid and right-mid portion of the map that serve as areas for weapon spawns, KOTH hills, and Oddball spawns. Weapons and powerups on the map are, - 2x Sniper Rifle - 1x Rocket Launcher - 1x Overshield - 1x Sticky Detonator - 8x Frag Grenade - 8x Plasma Grenade - 2x DMR - 2x Battle Rifle SCREENSHOTS That's pretty much it. Citadel plays well from 4v4 games up to 1v1 games. This is an asymmetric and competitive map. This map has nice aesthetics and has good cover everywhere. Blue team's initial spawn will be behind the tower itself while red team's spawn will be in the structure opposite of the tower. Changes are: - I changed the name to something shorter, simpler, and in my opinion, better. - Instead of regular cover on the bridge to the tower, I used crenelations. They look better that way and still provide good cover from gunfire. - I reduced cover on the top of the red base. That gives more room to play if a head-on battle happens there. - I fixed some of the trait zones that were giving players some "jumping problems". It's hard to explain. The bottom line is, all trait zones work perfectly now. - I reduced the debris in the middle of the map. This gives players more sight and those driving ghosts a little wiggle room. - I improved the boundaries of the map. It is now truly impossible to get out of the map. This map can be played on CTF, KOTH, Oddball, and Slayer gametypes. Both teams have access to their own Ghost and Sniper Rifle. However, they will have to fight it out for the Rocket Launcher, Overshield, and Damage Boost. Red team has easy access to a Sticky Detonator while Blue team has easy access to a Concussion Rifle. These weapons are mainly for defense against the Ghosts but are also effective against on-foot players. The main cover in the middle of the map will be the debris left from the aftermath of previous battles against the tower. Weapons, Vehicles and Power ups on the map are, - 2x Sniper Rifle - 1x Rocket Launcher - 1x Sticky Detonator - 1x Concussion Rifle - 1x Overshield - 1x Damage Boost - 2x DMR - 2x Battle Rifle - 2x Carbine - 8x Frag Grenade - 4x Plasma Grenade - 2x Ghost Here are some pics NOTE: I NO LONGER GOT THE UPDATED PICS BECAUSE THE BASIC IDEA OF THE MAP HAS ALREADY BEEN CAPTURED BY THE PHOTOS I HAVE. Facility is a medium-sized and symmetrical map. It can be played from 4v4 games to 1v1 games. This map has decent aesthetics and just the right amount of cover. Most of the aesthetic pieces I used are Dominion pieces. Examples are the wires and turret status monitors. There are 2 separate areas for red and blue team and a central structure that has an upper and lower level. The lower level has a tunnel that lead to the rocket launcher. There is also an outer ring that spans the entire map. You can get to the outer ring via trick jump, grav lift, or by jumping from one of the bases. Each team has their own Sniper Rifle. However, each team is equally distant from an Overshield, a Sticky Detonator, and a Rocket Launcher. This map can be played on SLAYER, CTF, ODDBALL, KOTH, SWAT, AND REGICIDE. These gametypes have been tested on the map multiple times and they work perfectly. The weapons on the map are - 2x Sniper Rifle - 1x Rocket Launcher - 1x Overshield - 1x Sticky Detonator - 2x DMR - 2x Battle Rifle - 2x Carbine - 4x Plasma Grenade - 4x Frag Grenade Here are some pics to give you an idea about the map MAP OVERVIEW RED SPAWN BLUE SPAWN MAP CENTER/POWER CORE (AESTHETIC) The "Power Core" has an orange light in it to really make it look like a power source ANOTHER VIEW OF THE "POWER CORE AESTHETIC" TRICK JUMP TO OUTER RING TUNNEL TO ROCKET SPAWN BLUE SNIPER RED SNIPER FUEL CELLS (AESTHETIC) MAP OVERVIEW FROM THE TOP That's pretty much it. Ethereal is a small to medium-sized map that plays well from 3v3 to 1v1 to FFA. I had to make a second version because the first one barely had any aesthetics, it could only play Slayer gametypes, and some weapons on the map were too overpowering. But on this version, I fixed those problems. There are now decent aesthetics, the map is now compatible with KOTH and Oddball, and I removed the overpowering weapons and replaced them with balanced ones. Weapons and powerups are: - 2x Sniper Rifle - 1x Railgun - 1x Overshield - 1x Sticky Detonator - 4x Plasma Grenade - 1x Light Rifle - 1x Battle Rifle - 2x DMR This map gets fun and hectic at 3v3s. It gets chaotic when played with more than 6 people. So I suggest keeping the number of player 2-6.
