    Feeling allot like the boy who cried wolf here. I apologize for not following through with ideas I've put forward in the past year, but I know for a FACT that these next few games by yours truly are set in stone. The first is a Mafia game that removes, and introduces quite a few mechanics into the fold. A puzzle, everyone getting a PM: including Civilians, the Detective being removed, 4 Factions with 2 Neutral-like ones, roles having their vote count reduced to 0 if they use their power, etc. This game will be replacing Stand Alone Complex, but carries over things from the previous iteration. It shall be known as Toon Mafia. The second game - which is actually the one that's coming first, weird - is a totally new game to the forum, but contains the spirit of Mafia... as well as all the crazy hilarious happenstance, and content that Mafia has had over the years. It's practically a celebration not only of Mafia on 343.org, but also a tribute to the members who dwell here. Of course this new game isn't COMPLETELY new. Just a reworking of an existing game that has been played as a forum game before: Mario Party. Though the name for this game is Mafia Party. There will be spoofs, goofs, Farmro constructing an Azaxx Death Missile, the Grim Reaper, RNGesus causing chaos, and more. I don't have the thread ready yet, but I do have the near-finalized logo hopefully to give everyone an idea of what this game's about. Thank you to all who not only have played my games, but partaken in the bandwagon that is Mafia since it's inception here. Here's to another year of Mafia.

    Thanks for the responses guys. Good reads. Personally, the best memory I've ever had regarding E3 was the 2014 E3 panel for The Master Chief Collection, Live-Action, and Halo 5... Such a legendary briefing. The opening chants, and the trailer of Chief redirecting the Covenant bomb with the Arbiter voiceover gave me chills, and that feeling of having dreams finally fulfilled did not cease during the entire panel. This lead to the juggernaut that was MCC taking control, and myself boarding the hype train. Culminating in the extremely long pre-release celebration where I legitimately wept... But we all know what became of this false promise. It was the first in a series of failures (the first I acknowledged, not THE first failure) that led me on a path diverging from 343's Halo... I just wish things turned out differently.

    Information surrounding the Halo Wars 2 Beta was leaked accidentally in the Xbox Store today: supposedly ahead of it's planned reveal at Microsoft's E3 conference on June 13th. Said leak apparently was a result of Xbox Director of Programming Larry Hyrb aka 'Major Nelson' following said page. Based on what was shown, the Beta will run from June 13th to June 20th. The full list of info gleaned is below: "Be among the first to experience the explosive return of real-time strategy to the Halo universe in the Halo Wars 2 Multiplayer Beta for Xbox One", the opening paragraph reads. Will run from June 13th, 2016 - the day of the Microsoft Press Conference, but not confirmed at what time - to June 20th, 2016 specifically for Xbox One. Windows 10 was not mentioned. Requires an Xbox Live Gold Membership to participate. The Beta will be 13GBs in size. Number of players capable of playing the Beta on one console is restricted to just 1 while it's up to 6 online. The Beta is 100% open, and can be accessed by anyone on it's launch date. As an indirect response to the leak the official Halo Youtube channel has begun uploading intriguing yet haunting '101s' regarding the events of the first Halo Wars. What this means not only for the sequel but for the original is yet to be determined. The canonically-first episode of the series can be seen . Halo Wars 2 is a real-time strategy game slated for release sometime in late 2016 for both Xbox One and Windows 10 - developed in partnership between SEGA's Creative Assembly of Total War fame and 343 Industries.
