Mostly "watch your back" bastions, but bastions nonetheless. Also, badass retro-future technology. Can WD say the same? Then in WD there's frickin' mindless, slow-moving zombies EVERYWHERE, and no one uses suppressors to prevent hearing damage. Oh, and hardly any hygiene. Would you rather... have expanding earlobes, or multiplying eyebrows? It is as advertised.

Had to post since my views changed. Who'da thunk. I've never really payed attention to ODST until now, which I'm kicking myself for. Very underrated. Found some sweet tunes. Love the noir aspect, and that distinct gloom. I'm a sucker for that. H2 / A is great and all, but that feeling of incompleteness drags it down not only allowing 3 to eclipse it, but overtake it as well. Pretty obvious why. It is the crown jewel of the Halo Trilogy when it comes to OSTs. Hell, I'd argue it's the best in the franchise. I played, and listened to 3 religiously so I fail to ascertain the reason why it fell so out of favor with me. Not anymore. Then I returned to 5 discovering that the compression I mentioned before is on a worse scale than previously thought. Convoluted, and too haphazard. 5's great and all music-wise, but it's far from being top-dog. Maybe a step up from 4, but not contender for the crown. And what annoys me the most is that unsatisfactory motifs get the spotlight, but other "cooler" snippets that have caught my fancy are not. Like the droning heard at the beginning of Battle of Sunaion. The track it originates from sets it then forgets it. Favorite snippet out of the entire OST, and it ends up forgotten, and underutilized. Now Reach... dunno. I really love the main theme, but everything else ends up leaving me feeling... bored. Still alright. I'll need to listen more intently. So the new list is 3 > ODST > H2A / 2 > 5 >?< Reach.

I should iterate that this story has nothing to do with Halo. I put this here by accident, and am currently waiting for a Mod to move this to a place more appropriate. So if you're thinking this is supposed to be intertwined with some OC Spartan character then you're going to be disappointed. The story is standalone, and has lore spanning a fictional universe I created. The more you know (whoever cares anyway).

Yes. I'm actually going to finish up the thread, and post it as a sign-up / suggestions page. The players can post their requests ahead of Yoshi's game ending. Anyone who doesn't care to do it will get a randomized mask I'll deliver to them via PM. All the masks will show up in the Role Status, but who & what role they belong to will be a mystery. If, and when a player is 100% confirmed, but not killed I'll reveal their mask in the thread. Graphics for all of these are in development, and will be posted after completion. I'm officially changing the game to a themed one: a full-fledge Masquerade Ball. It still has the same mechanics as Classic II. The Guests are Protown, and the Masquerade are Mafia. Every player will get a mask, not ones that are horrifying like I previously intended. Every player has the option of choosing what their mask will look like, but can let me handle it if they have no preference. The choices will be restricted, and I won't take a request that does not follow these 3 rules: 1 color for their mask Disposition. Like anger, sadness, joy, etc Specific animal, or Human Then, after RNG chooses the Mafians, the players who are as such will receive haunted masks: nightmarish versions of their cover ones. These will show up if they're killed, or confirmed. Does this sound too complicated? I think it would be fun. The problem with this is that there's no guessing, like "Is that Drizzy under that mask?", "Lol, no". That's how Masked Parties usually work.

1. Agreed, shameless lies. All that potential was lost, and we'll never get it back. They'll have to continue from the shambles or retcon some of it. 2. Forge maps, or Dev Maps? Forged ones I agree, but not Dev ones. 3. They're spread out over the different Warzone Playlists. 4. The heavies? Dunno what you're talking about there. Grunt Heavies? Spartan Heavies? Heavy Battle Tank? Heavy Rock? Rocks need armor too.

I'd appreciate it if the Neutral dude and/or gal would contact me so that we don't accidentally kill them. You have my word that we'll spare you. But it's okay if you decide to remain in the shade. I won't force you to help us.
