Today on Xbox Wire, the staff there gave details on Halo Fest 2014. On November 10th (a day before the Master Chief Collection launches) 343 Industries will "take over" Avalon Theatre in Los Angeles. The Event will broadcast on Xbox Live, Xbox.com, and Twitch: all starting at 8pm PT. I'm assuming they mean all of these when they say "Tune in to the HaloFest Livestream to see". Before the Halo Fest stream, there will also be the Halo: The Master Chief Collection Launch Invitational (presented by ESL at their Southern California Headquarters). It will feature 32 eSports Pros going head-to-head in Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer: all for $50,000 in prizes and the chance to be the first to play the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta. All coverage for ESL's H2A Event will be streamed at Twitch.tv/Halo on Nov. 8-9, with additional highlights airing during the HaloFest live broadcast on Nov. 10. Main attractions of Halo Fest: Halo 5: Guardians Beta: An exhibition match between eSports pros on the Halo 5: Guardians Beta (a first look at the Beta before it's official release on December 29th). Halo: Nightfall World Premier: The premier of the first episode of Halo: Nightfall, which "introduces Agent Locke – a pivotal new character in Halo 5: Guardians. Halo: Nightfall is the result of an unprecedented collaboration with industry talents like Ridley Scott and Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, who worked hand-in-hand with 343 Industries to raise the bar for live-action storytelling in the Halo universe". 343 Executive Producer Kiki Wolfkill & the Cast and Production Team will give some details on Nightfall either before, or after the episode airs. 343 Industries interviews & more: Head of 343 Industries Bonnie Ross, Franchise Development Director Frank O’Connor, Executive Producer Dan Ayoub, Executive Producer Josh Holmes, and others from 343i will "talk about the past, present and future of the Halo universe". There will also be talks with "Celebrity Fans" at Avalon Theatre. 1: That Spartan is in broad daylight. 2: Those armor lights are awfully bright. In the case of the armor being shiny: It's supposed to be that way. Not being able to see an enemy player who's not using Active Camo is kind of a bad con if you ask me. It could also be that the armor color just pops, and is naturally bright. Again it's to make very sure who you're shooting at is an enemy. + You can change the brightness settings in Halo 4 from 1-5, and I bet the person who took this pic was at a 4 or 5.

Can I sit in the front seat?

The Boltshot does NOT need to go. The only thing it needs is a damage nerf, and it should be fine. On the other hand I think the real weapon that needs to go is... nothing. All the guns do their job, and do it well. There's no need to completely leave behind any of them when you could just tweak their settings in Halo 5.

UPDATE: The new projected time is: Sunday, November 2nd, 4 pm EST, 9 pm GMT This is because my internet is completely destroyed right now. As of yet it won't be able to handle Left 4 Dead 2 online: if I did play then it would be horribly laggy due to the Horde AI. My internet renews on the 2nd of every month, so I'll go ahead and move this to November 2nd. HOPEFULLY IT'LL WORK THEN!!

I'm extremely sorry. My sister has my WiFi box, and I can't get on XBL until she gives it back. She told me she would at 6. By then I think it would be too late for some of the attendees, so the best thing would be to postpone. Again I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I fully plan to do the Event on another date though. Maybe next month.

UPDATE: Left 4 Dead 2 Event is postponed. The new date is not certain yet. Sorry guys.

Hello MetalPolarBear ( \m/ ) welcome to the forums! I haven't read any of the books firsthand, but I have read synopsis and text from online. I am interested in the lore though. I read through Halopedia and Halo.wikia allot.

I'm positive that Bloodline will be the best iteration yet, though I'll need to play on the map to get the final verdict. I prefer Coagulation over Blood Gulch do to it's inclusion of the Banshees. Bloodline seems to be an evolution of that with the Hornets.
