“@Fact: Most teenagers are treated like children but expected to act like adults” explain this please
-
By those around you, people expect the basics. Morals, ideals, attitude and personality. Yet, by those who love you, like your parents, brothers, and those who you share a friendly relationship with, they subconsciously wish to protect you, to let you find life easier. And so they will support you, the same way they might support children.
Source: My grandmother and her abilities to spoon-feed me. Damn.

Really? My parents wish I would stop playing games and spend more time with them despite having nothing in common. My life seems to differ here.

More to the point, most teenagers probably act childish and yet expect to be treated as adults. It is all a matter of perspective. Thing is, parents love you and are doing their best.
